John 9:1-5Spiritual blindness keeps us from seeing our blindness, and only Jesus is the one who can grant us true Spiritual sight to see Him and so many other aspects of our lives.

Jesus has forgiven our insurmountable debt of sin; therefore, believers must offer unilateral, unqualified, unreserved, and unlimited forgiveness to everyone else. Those who know they are forgiven much will also forgive others much. Jesus said forgive us our debts as we also have forgiven our debtors.

While at first glance the parable seems to be about the importance of actions over words, a deeper dive shows that Jesus is addressing a larger context about how our response to earthly authority reveals our response to heavenly authority.
