Lets talk about some of the stand fighters across organizations for 2024 and the best fights. We have to talk about the best performances, but also the sickest and most brutal finishes of 2024. Everyone is quick to count a fighter out after a loss, but every fighter faces adversity at some point. A step up in competition usually will answer questions and whether you win or loss, you gain from it. So lets talk about Karine Silva and her recent loss to Viviane Araujo, and how it will affect her. While many don't want give her credit for her performance, Silva did learn something from it so expect her to be back. Araujo on the other keeps her career afloat, and maybe due another solid ranked fight. Also Eduarda Moura getting a victory over Veronica Hardy shows there might be a new home for Moura. Manon Fiorot has been very vocal about her title fight that she feels Valentina Shevchenko is not showing interest in. So she has been speaking out more than normal and it is definitely amping up the WMMA world! So I was a little pressed for time last night and didn't have time for this discussion, so I'm back with another episode to discuss the once reigning division of WMMA; the straw weight division. Alright WMMA fans, this week's episode comes at a time when the fights are a little slow so I decided to bring up a topic that's been on my mind. This topic revolves around the last few fights over the past few weekends. After watching several ladies perform to a high level of urgency, I come to the conclusion that there are some fighters that may not reach the top, but their performances will keep them in the UFC. Putting on a crowd pleasing performance is necessary for fighters that have a lack of skills to get near the top 10 or near the belt so letting it all go is their next best choice. Also we'll discuss the state of the women's UFC bantamweight division. Can the division get back to where it once was?

Seems like I'm always behind when it comes to fights because there's always a card I missed. So the past couple weeks I had to catch up on fights when there was no UFC card. I didn't get to watch the Prelims on fight day so I went back to watch the performances of two new bantamweights. Jaqueline Cavalcanti easily won a decision against Zarah Fairn at a catchweight bout. What happens to Fairn from here?? Nora Cornolle wins her UFC debut in a controversial decision against Joselyne Edwards. Did Nora do enough to get a 30-27 card?? Finally the co-main has Manon Fiorot making her return against Rose Namajunas making her debut to flyweight! Fiorot was able to get by Namajunas in a competitive but earned decision. Was this victory enough to get a title shot? Was Rose's dislocated finger really the cause of her losing the fight? Lets talk about it!

Leah Letson has decided to call it quits from MMA to move on with her life. Choosing retirement when you are signed to one of the biggest promotional companies for MMA can be difficult. Cynthia Calvillo will be taking on Loopy Godinez so we will see if she can make it back down to 115. Also we will go over the rules for an exciting fight coming this Friday between Stamp Fairtex and Anissa Meksen.
