Kevin Kline and an Oscar-nominated Joan Cusack have a gay old time in 1997's In & Out. Back then, the comedy was a modest hit with critics and audiences as it juggled social commentary and slapstick humor while tackling a (then) hot-topic theme: homosexuality (gasp!). But now, decades later, should we leave this Frank Oz flick in the closet? When are “gay jokes” funny? And should Kline's character consider pressing charges against Tom Selleck's entertainment reporter? The Old Roommates revisit all the Macho Man madness through their middle-aged lens. Pop on some Streisand and join them.Follow Old Roommates on social media @OldRoommates for bonus content and please give us a rating or review!#In&Out #FrankOz #KevinKline #JoanCusack #DebbieReynolds #MattDillon #TomSelleck

In the Coffee House, John-Mark is joined by Brandon Adams and Benedict Allmand-Smith to discuss Covenant Theology, the Sinai/Mosaic covenant, Paul's argument in Galatians 3, the Abrahamic Covenant and its relationship to the New Covenant, and the different views on Abraham and Moses, particularly expressed in the majority Reformed view and the arguments of Meredith Kline. Swim deep in the questions of Reformed Covenant Theology at the Coffee House.Brandon begins by defining the historic “subservient covenant” view: Sinai is distinct from the covenant of grace and serves it by functioning as a typological covenant of works tied to temporal life and blessing in Canaan, conditioned on obedience. They contrast this with the majority historic Reformed view that post-fall covenants are one covenant of grace, and explain competing readings of Galatians 3:10–12 and 3:15–18 (including the “ad hominem” reading). Adams relates Kline's works-principle approach, critiques attempts to separate the Abrahamic and Mosaic covenants, and argues Paul's “promise” centers on Christ blessing the nations, distinguishing the historia salutis from the ordo salutis. Episode 98: Am I Being Told All My Options for Breast Reconstruction?

How can you help today? After listening to this DiepCJourney® podcast interview with a highly skilled microsurgeon, Dr. Richard Kline of The Center for Natural Breast Reconstruction, share it with someone who is newly diagnosed, has a genetic mutation putting them at high risk, and is facing a mastectomy but wants to reconstruct their breasts.  Since opening DiepCFoundation in 2016, our intent has been to empower patients with information about all breast reconstruction options. There are three options: Implant-based reconstruction used a medical device surgically placed in the body after a mastectomy to replace the breast tissue that has been removed. A plastic surgeon can do this. Autologous reconstruction. This procedure uses the patient's own tissue to reconstruct the breasts after a mastectomy. This type of reconstruction requires a microsurgeon who has received training beyond standard plastic surgery.  Hybrid reconstruction combines autologous tissue and an implant to achieve volume and or projection. Performing autologous breast reconstruction is a far more complex task. Because of the additional training required, it is a chosen profession beyond standard plastic surgery for those passionate about what I consider an extraordinary task. This task includes tissue transfer and the anastomosis, suturing together tiny blood vessels, to create a warm breast using only the patient's own tissue. What does this mean for patients? Because there are fewer microsurgeons than general plastic surgeons, access to care becomes an issue. A patient may go to a well-qualified plastic surgeon and be told implants are their best option because that is what the surgeon is skilled at. A well-intended, skilled plastic surgeon may also tell patients that a procedure like the DIEP flap is complex and lengthy. Where does this leave the patient? Patients owe it to themselves to understand all options for reconstruction, but we know they often do not. How do we change this? Education and outreach. When a skilled microsurgeon isn't available in a patient's area, it's a very valid reason for them to travel. This week your hosts Steve Lowry and Yvonne Godfrey interview Frank Mangiaracina of Kline & Specter PC (https://www.klinespecter.com/).    Remember to rate and review GTP in iTunes: Click Here To Rate and Review   Episode Details: Philadelphia-based personal injury attorney Frank Mangiaracina with Kline & Specter PC discusses how he secured justice for David Coryell, a motorcycle driver involved in an automobile wreck with a delivery driver employed by a Domino's franchise. On July 27, 2016, defendant Steven Morris was driving a delivery vehicle to deliver Domino's food when he made a sudden left turn into oncoming traffic, crashing his vehicle into David and his motorcycle. David suffered severe physical and emotional injuries from this incident. After numerous operations, he was left with the decision to either amputate his left leg or experience permanent and progressive pain. Despite the defense's attempts to claim that Domino's did not have control over a franchisee's operations and therefore could not be held accountable for the actions of a franchisee's employee, Mangiaracina established that Domino's and the franchisee have a “master-servant relationship,” arguing that Domino's did, in fact, have control over the franchisee and therefore should be held responsible. The jury agreed, and on August 13, 2021, a Philadelphia County jury returned a $2,009,553 verdict in favor of plaintiff David Coryell.     Click Here to Read/Download Trial Documents   Guest Bio: Frank Mangiaracina Frank Mangiaracina focuses his practice on catastrophic personal injury. He is a staunch advocate and proven trial lawyer who helped compile more than $60 million in recoveries in the five years before coming to Kline & Specter.  Most recently, in a COVID-era trial during the summer of 2021, Mangiaracina won a $2.1 million verdict against Domino's Pizza for a client who suffered severe and permanent injuries to his leg when his motorcycle was struck by a delivery driver. As co-lead counsel at trial, Mangiaracina gave a closing argument that helped convince the jury that Domino's was responsible for the actions of a franchisee.  He was also co-counsel in litigation that achieved a $44 million pre-trial settlement in a product liability case for an oil rig worker who was left a quadriplegic after he was struck by a falling light fixture.  In medical malpractice cases, among others, Mangiaracina helped win settlements of $5.5 million, $5 million and $3.5 million for, respectively, failures to timely diagnose stroke, diagnose and treat sepsis and to treat an aortic aneurysm.  These recoveries were made with Mangiaracina's prior firm, Sheridan & Murray LLC in Fort Washington, Pa. He also worked as an attorney at Berger & Montague in Philadelphia and as a law clerk with the Philadelphia firm of Saltz, Mongeluzzi & Bendesky.  Because of his litigation success, Mangiaracina has been named a Pennsylvania Rising Star by Super Lawyers for four consecutive years (2019-2022). The independent lawyers survey group recognizes the top 2.5 percent of attorneys in the state who are 40 or younger.  Mangiaracina earned his law degree at the Temple University Beasley School of Law, where he graduated magna cum laude, in the top five percent of his class and was a member of the Order of the Coif honor society. He was, simultaneously, staff editor for the Temple Law Review and a member of Temple's renowned National Trial Team, which placed in the semifinals of the National Institute of Trial Advocacy's “Tournament of Champions,” an invitation-only competition.  At Temple, Mangiaracina won several awards and scholarships, including the Integrated Trial Advocacy Graduation Award, the Benjamin and Natalie Levin Memorial Scholarship, the Class of 1978 Scholarship and the Faculty Law Scholarship. In this episode of Christ the Center, Camden Bucey and Lane Tipton continue their study of Geerhardus Vos's Biblical Theology. Turning to Vos's treatment of the kingdom of God and the church, they explore the importance of Caesarea Philippi, Peter's confession, and Christ's promise, "I will build my church." Lane explains why Vos sees this moment as a decisive redemptive-historical transition: the kingdom of God, proclaimed and embodied in Christ, begins to assume its ecclesial form. Together, Camden and Lane discuss the church as the kingdom in its present historical expression, the role of the Spirit poured out from the ascended Christ, and the distinction between the kingdom's inaugurated and consummated forms. They also consider how Vos's teaching helps clarify ongoing theological questions concerning the kingdom of grace and glory, the already/not-yet structure of redemptive history, the thought of Meredith Kline, and the strengths and weaknesses of more recent reductionist or two-kingdom approaches. Tonight we examine a Kevin Kline Performance Trilogy—The Pirates of Penzance (1983), De-Lovely (2004), and A Prairie Home Companion (2006)—three films that showcase his command of musicality, wit, and character across eras. Pirates, adapted from the New York Shakespeare Festival production, was directed by Wilford Leach and preserves Gilbert & Sullivan's operetta for film, with Kline's Pirate King earning a Golden Globe nomination and cementing his theatrical pedigree. De-Lovely, directed by Irwin Winkler, casts Kline as Cole Porter in a stylized biopic featuring an ensemble of contemporary artists interpreting Porter's catalog, blending stage sensibility with cinematic structure. Finally, Robert Altman's A Prairie Home Companion captures Kline in a live-wire ensemble alongside Meryl Streep and Lily Tomlin, merging radio nostalgia with Altman's signature overlapping dialogue. Together, these films chart Kline's enduring legacy as a performer who bridges stage and screen, high art and populist entertainment.Disclaimer: The following may contain offensive language, adult humor, and/or content that some viewers may find offensive – The views and opinions expressed by any one speaker does not explicitly or necessarily reflect or represent those of Mark Radulich or W2M Network.Mark Radulich and his wacky podcast on all the things:https://linktr.ee/markkind76alsohttps://www.teepublic.com/user/radulich-in-broadcasting-networkFB Messenger: Mark Radulich LCSWTiktok: @markradulichtwitter: @MarkRadulichInstagram: markkind76RIBN Album Playlist: https://suno.com/playlist/91d704c9-d1ea-45a0-9ffe-5069497bad59

Then, the Kenny Omega-MJF build, AEW's leaning into scaring fans with real life injuries being played up in over-the-top ways, Willow Nightingale's most Willow-like promo yet (in all the bad ways), AEW seeming to avoid airing potential F-Ice chants with Brody King, Jon Moxley-Will Ospreay, and much more.Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/wade-keller-pro-wrestling-post-shows--3275545/support.

Two women strangled in two days by the same man in Jacksonville, Florida -- one killed at a motel on Christmas night, the other a beloved teacher murdered in her own home the next morning. This episode features real interrogation footage and court audio.Leah Kline's life ended on December 25, 2019. She and Zebulon Perkins had been staying at a Westside Jacksonville motel when an argument turned violent. Perkins strangled Kline and disposed of her body in a dumpster behind the building. She was 38 years old. Her remains would not be discovered for days. The following morning, December 26, Perkins drove to the Cedar Hills home of Vivian James, a 49-year-old chemistry teacher at Atlantic Coast High School. James had once been his teacher. According to court records, Perkins went to her looking for guidance -- and when James told him he needed to turn himself in to police, Perkins beat her and strangled her with a cord inside her home.Vivian James had spent years in a classroom shaping the futures of Duval County students. Colleagues and former students described her as someone who gave her time and attention freely, a teacher who saw potential where others saw problems. The fact that a former student came to her door in crisis -- and that her instinct was to counsel him toward accountability -- speaks to who she was.On December 28, a friend stopped by James' home and found her body. The friend called Jacksonville Sheriff's Office and reported James' car missing. Investigators located the vehicle at the same Westside motel where Kline had been killed. Perkins was inside. When officers searched the car, they found Perkins' bag containing sweatpants stained with James' DNA, along with her camera and three laptops. Two of James' televisions and her computer monitor were recovered from the home of Perkins' mother. DNA recovered from beneath James' fingernails matched Perkins. In March 2024, Zebulon Perkins pleaded guilty to two counts of second-degree murder. He was sentenced to 70 years in Florida State Prison. The interrogation footage played during court proceedings showed detectives confronting Perkins about the evidence against him -- a man who, according to investigators, showed no emotion when asked about either death. This episode features interrogation recordings and court audio. Located in the Papantla municipality of the Mexican state of Veracruz, El Tajín is a UNESCO World Heritage site but a lesser-known tourist destination and national symbol. The Indigenous Totonac residents of the region know well that the site's relative absence from discussions of global archaeology and heritage belies a century of wide-ranging labor, extractive industries, and commodity exchange. In the Shadow of El Tajín: The Political Economy of Archaeology in Modern Mexico (U Nebraska Press, 2025) tells the story of how a landscape of ancient mounds and ruins became an archaeological site, brings to light the network of actors who made it happen, and reveals the Indigenous histories silenced in the process. By drawing on the insights of Indigenous Totonac peoples who have lived and worked in El Tajín for more than a century, Sam Holley-Kline explores historical processes that made both the archaeological site and regional historical memory. In the Shadow of El Tajín decenters discussions of the state and tourism industry by focusing on the industries and workers who are integral to the functioning of the site but who have historically been overlooked by studies of the ancient past. Holley-Kline recovers local Indigenous histories in dialogue with broader trends in scholarship to demonstrate the rich recent past of El Tajín, a place better known for its ancient history. In this gripping episode, we unravel one of the most controversial threads in the Delphi murders investigation: the digital trail leading straight to Kegan Kline and the “anthony_shots” account. For years, the focus remained on the man seen on the Monon High Bridge — but behind the scenes, investigators were digging into something far more alarming. Liberty German was communicating with the fake “anthony_shots” profile in the hours before she vanished, and that profile was linked directly to Kegan Kline, a convicted child predator with a long pattern of online grooming. Yet despite the urgency of that connection, law enforcement waited three years before questioning Kline about the murders. When they finally did, Kline allegedly lied, deflected, and immediately began deleting accounts and wiping devices after walking out of the interview. The FBI raided the Kline home just twelve days after the girls were found, interrogated him, polygraphed him, and documented disturbing inconsistencies — all before the public even knew his name. Then, in 2022, investigators quietly searched the Wabash River near Kline's home. Weeks later, they arrested Richard Allen, a man with no known digital link to Libby or Abby. Meanwhile, questions surrounding Kline's involvement, timeline, and online activity remain unresolved. This episode breaks down the probable cause affidavit, the gaps in the public timeline, and the long, unexplained delay in bringing charges against Kline. We examine how someone with a full confession to unrelated crimes, multiple devices containing illicit material, and a detailed digital footprint connected to Liberty German managed to avoid charges for years — and what that means for the integrity of the Delphi investigation today. If you've ever wondered whether the digital angle held the key all along, this is the breakdown you can't afford to miss. #DelphiMurders #KeganKline #AnthonyShots #DigitalForensics #RichardAllen #LibbyAndAbby #IndianaCrime #HiddenKillers #TrueCrimeAnalysis #TrueCrimeCommunity Want to comment and watch this podcast as a video?
