Avainroolissa on amerikkalainen SpaceX ja sen suurelta osin uudelleenkäyttettävä Falcon 9. Sen avulla avaruuteen nousemisen hinta on pudonnut olennaisesti. Tämä on kuitenkin vasta alkua, sillä muut – suuremmatkin – uudelleenkäytettävät raketit ovat tulossa kovaa vauhtia käyttöön. Euroopalle viime vuoden ovat olleet hankalia, koska uusi Ariane 6 ei ole ainoastaan myöhässä, vaan myös selvästi vanhanaikainen verrattuna kilpailijoihinsa. No todos los días se asiste al nacimiento de un barco que promete cambiar las reglas de la navegación oceánica. Y menos todavía se tiene el privilegio de ser el único periodista español invitado a presenciarlo. Un honor… y también una responsabilidad: la de contar con precisión lo que vi, lo que oí y, sobre todo, lo que entendí que representa este proyecto. Porque el Maxi Edmond de Rothschild no es un barco más. Es, probablemente, el multicasco de competición más avanzado jamás construido. Un gigante de 32 metros, estilizado, afilado, con unas líneas que parecen sacadas de un boceto de ciencia ficción. Pero lo más impresionante no está en su estética, sino en su ambición: este trimarán está diseñado para volar. Volar de verdad. Navegar sin apenas tocar el agua. Y hacerlo no en un campo de regatas protegido, sino en mitad del Atlántico, en mares de tres metros y a velocidades cercanas a los 40 nudos de media. En Lorient no solo se presentó un barco: se presentó un concepto. Una forma de entender la vela oceánica que ya no se conforma con levantar unos centímetros el casco, sino que aspira a mantenerlo en vuelo continuo durante días enteros. Eso, a día de hoy, no lo hace nadie. Y ni siquiera sabemos del todo cómo se hace… pero el Gitana Team y el gabinete Verdier creen haber encontrado el camino. Lo que hay detrás de este proyecto es abrumador: 200.000 horas de construcción, 50.000 de estudio técnico, un equipo de más de 200 especialistas, y una batería de innovaciones que, sinceramente, no había visto reunidas en un solo barco: Y-foils retráctiles, timones en U, una orza central jamás vista, mástil con spreaders dinámicos, sistemas hidráulicos que recuerdan más a la Fórmula 1 que a la vela tradicional. Y es aquí cuando uno entiende por qué Gitana lleva 150 años navegando siempre medio paso por delante del resto. En la presentación, Ariane de Rothschild habló de “pasión por la disrupción tecnológica”. No es una frase hecha; es un diagnóstico exacto. Este barco no existe para seguir la corriente: existe para obligar a que la corriente cambie. El patrón, Charles Caudrelier, lo resumió con otra frase que se me quedó grabada: “Queremos encontrar el vuelo perfecto.” Y cuando un navegante que ha ganado todo dice que quiere perfeccionar el vuelo… algo importante está a punto de pasar. El Gitana 18 entrará pronto en fase de pruebas reales. Sobre el papel, todo funciona. En el simulador, vuela. En el agua… ya veremos. Ese es el misterio hermoso de la vela: por muy avanzado que sea el diseño, el mar siempre tiene la última palabra. Pero si algo puedo decir después de estar allí, cara a cara con ese gigante negro y azul, es que estamos ante el prototipo que probablemente marcará el estándar de lo que será la navegación oceánica dentro de diez años. Quizá menos. La vela siempre ha sido evolución; hoy, por primera vez, tuve la sensación de estar viendo una revolución. Réunis à Brême en Allemagne, les 23 États membres de l'Agence spatiale européenne (ESA) doivent définir d'ici ce soir les priorités et le budget spatial du continent jusqu'en 2028. Dans un contexte de forte concurrence internationale et de retard technologique accumulé, l'Europe tente de préserver sa souveraineté face aux États-Unis, à la Chine.  La statistique est saisissante et mérite d'être notée. Sur les 261 lancements de fusées réalisés dans le monde en 2024, l'Europe n'en compte que trois. Une faiblesse historique, qui contraste avec les 156 tirs américains et les 68 chinois. C'est dans ce contexte que les ministres de l'Espace se réunissent à Brême. L'ESA réclame 22 milliards d'euros pour la période 2026-2028, soit 5 milliards de plus que lors du cycle précédent, afin d'éviter un décrochage durable.  Malgré cette hausse, le continent reste très en dessous des grandes puissances : l'Europe ne pèse que 10 % du financement spatial public mondial, loin derrière les États-Unis et la Chine. Pourtant, l'enjeu est crucial : sans satellites, pas de météo fiable, pas de GPS européen, pas d'Internet sécurisé, pas de gestion de crise. Pas de souveraineté, tout simplement. Un continent fragmenté face aux ambitions spatiales  Si l'Europe veut redevenir une puissance spatiale, elle devra d'abord résoudre un problème politique : elle ne parle pas d'une seule voix. La France, longtemps locomotive du spatial européen grâce à Ariane, Kourou, Airbus ou Thalès, passe désormais au troisième rang des contributeurs derrière l'Allemagne et l'Italie. Berlin accélère, notamment dans le spatial militaire, tandis que Rome mise sur les mini-lanceurs et les constellations, profitant d'une base industrielle solide.  Pourtant, les succès européens existent. Citons Copernicus, programme d'observation du climat; Galileo, le GPS européen ; IRIS², future constellation de connectivité sécurisée ou encore l'incontournable Ariane 6, le nouveau lanceur du continent. Mais contrairement aux États-Unis, où les acteurs privés sont devenus centraux, comme SpaceX, le spatial européen repose principalement sur de l'argent public.  À lire aussiLa France peut-elle rattraper son retard dans le secteur spatial? En parallèle, la Commission européenne a présenté un « Space Act européen » destiné à harmoniser les règles, renforcer la compétitivité et aligner les stratégies nationales encore trop dispersées.  Car malgré ses divisions, l'Europe conserve des atouts majeurs : une industrie performante, des ingénieurs de haut niveau et des centres spatiaux d'excellence. Reste désormais à transformer ces atouts en puissance collective. Min 32: RECIÉN NACIDAS (4 estrellas) En Recién nacidas, los hermanos belgas Jean-Pierre Dardenne y Luc Dardenne regresan al cine social con una mirada coral impactante: cinco adolescentes â€"Jessica, Perla, Julie, Ariane y NaÃma" conviven en un centro materno mientras enfrentan el reto de criar a sus hijos nacidos de circunstancias difíciles. La película se desarrolla en espacios austeros, casi de documental, y apuesta por el realismo puro al mostrar la precariedad, la ausencia paterna, las adicciones o el pasado traumático de estas jóvenes. El reparto, considerablemente formado por actrices no profesionales o poco conocidos como Elsa Houben, Janaína Halloy, Samia Hilmi, Lucie Laruelle y Babette Verbeek aporta frescura y autenticidad al relato. Los Dardenne, que firman tanto dirección como guión, emplean su característico estilo de cámara cercana al cuerpo y al silencio, sin grandes adornos, buscando que la verdad de los personajes se imponga. Protagonizada por Tahar Rahim â€"quien encarna al artista con intensidad y convicciónâ€" la cinta despliega la lucha constante de un hombre cuya voz parecía no tener cabida en su tiempo y que, sin embargo, se negó a escuchar ese veredicto. Su encuentro con Édith Piaf se convierte en la bisagra de una carrera forjada en escenarios pequeños, sacrificios familiares y una voluntad que desafiaba toda norma. La película no solo recrea los éxitos y la consagración del protagonista, sino también las raíces invisibles de su mito: el exilio, la pobreza, la creación musical fuera de los márgenes, todo ello bajo una estética cuidada, fotográfica y sobria que sirve de marco a la emoción. Heute führt er mit seinen Kindern die Davaz-Gruppe, die auf Nachhaltigkeit und Biodiversität setzt. Auch nach Rückschlägen ist ihm sein christlicher Glaube geblieben – als Kraftquelle und Kompass. Ariane Orosz (44) wuchs in Oberengstringen auf – als Tochter ungarischer Eltern, die nach ihrer Flucht in der Schweiz ein neues Leben aufbauten. Zuhause sprach man Ungarisch, im Kindergarten verstand sie die anderen Kinder zunächst kaum. Als schüchternes Kind beschäftigte sie sich viel mit sich selbst. Heute versucht sie zu verstehen, das im Inneren von Menschen vor sich geht. Sie studierte Neurobiologie und arbeitete mehrere Jahre am Sanatorium Kilchberg, wo sie Gruppen zu Stressbewältigung leitete.
