Mark and Payton dig into the latest gut punches for both El Clasico sides, Barcelona and Real Madrid in this very special craptastic episode. The boys review Barcelona's crushing defeat at the hands of Atletico Madrid (5:25), and Real Madrid's very exciting and marginally offside loss away to Espanyol (37:25). Will Real Madrid bounce back after the international break? Do Barcelona hope to ever bounce back at all? How much longer will Koeman stay as manager of the blaugrana? Can Nacho play defense anymore? All these questions, and much more, are settled in this episode of El Clasico Podcastico!
First off, if you're in need of bad puns, this is the episode for you! Taylor is back to chat with Graham and Ryan about the biggest games from the weekend! 1) Liverpool v Manchester City was a classic, even if the officiating was not (according to Pep) 2) Atletico Madrid v Barcelona: Simeone's side were dominant, Koeman's side were coached from a phone, and Suarez got his revenge. 3) Atalanta v Milan: No Zlatan. No gold car. No problem. Milan was dominant and won the first 86 minutes 3-0 before losing the final 4+ minutes 2-0. A net 3-2 means all 3 points! 4) El Trafico lives up to its name... in that the final 30 minutes dragged on for a while and everyone seemed to wish they were home watching TV. Sponsors! BetterHelp! Chris is joined by Dr. Angelica Loera Suarez, the President of Orange Coast College, to discuss this remarkably rich, incredibly lyrical novel and their own journeys of family through the lens of story.
Vover Soccer Insider, Laurence Scott highlights Atletico Madrid's Luis Suarez honest advice for a former FC Barcelona teammate when it comes to a major job opportunity -- don't take it -- at least, not now. Suarez getting word to Xavi that a war is going on at Camp Nou and to steer clear for the time being if Barca comes calling to fill a potential managerial vacancy left by Ronald Koeman. Also, other notable managers named Guardiola and Klopp have nice words for each other before this weekend's Liverpool/Man City clash. Prior to that the guys look back on the draw away to Brentford, including touching on Ivan Toney's showing against the Reds, plus there's also a look at the 5-1 win over Porto. Away from the current action, the conversation takes Josh and Dave into debating which player, in their prime, they'd rather pick out of Mohamed Salah and Luis Suarez. And ahead of Sunday's clash at Anfield, there's plenty of analysis of Pep Guardiola's side. Enjoy.Get exclusive podcasts direct to your inbox every week for FREE by joining the Blood Red Club.

Suarez has Mexican ancestry. She started wrestling before her fourth birthday, as all of her older brothers wrestled and she insisted that her mother let her wrestle too. She graduated from Northview High School before attending Lindenwood University. She is a two-time bronze medalist in the world championships of freestyle wrestling. In 2011, she was ranked the number one freestyle wrestler in the US at 55 kg (121 lb). While training for the 2012 Summer Olympics in London, Suarez suffered a neck injury, which derailed her Olympic aspirations. An MRI and CAT scan not only revealed a bothersome disc in her neck, but a cancerous growth on her thyroid. Suarez underwent radiation therapy and had her thyroid and several lymph nodes removed. After successful treatment, her thyroid cancer was gone and she eventually began to train again. Suarez started practicing Brazilian jiu-jitsu, which led her to discovering mixed martial arts. Mark 9:38-50 John said to Jesus, “Teacher, we saw someone casting out demons in your name, and we tried to stop him, because he was not following us.” But Jesus said, “Do not stop him; for no one who does a deed of power in my name will be able soon afterward to speak evil of me. Whoever is not against us is for us. For truly I tell you, whoever gives you a cup of water to drink because you bear the name of Christ will by no means lose the reward. “If any of you put a stumbling block before one of these little ones who believe in me, it would be better for you if a great millstone were hung around your neck and you were thrown into the sea. If your hand causes you to stumble, cut it off; it is better for you to enter life maimed than to have two hands and to go to hell, to the unquenchable fire. And if your foot causes you to stumble, cut it off; it is better for you to enter life lame than to have two feet and to be thrown into hell. And if your eye causes you to stumble, tear it out; it is better for you to enter the kingdom of God with one eye than to have two eyes and to be thrown into hell, where their worm never dies, and the fire is never quenched. “For everyone will be salted with fire. Salt is good; but if salt has lost its saltiness, how can you season it? Have salt in yourselves, and be at peace with one another.”
The FC crew break down Atletico Madrid's victory over Getafe and question if Diego Simeone's side can challenge for the league with another unconvincing win. Plus, the guys discuss the fallout from Barcelona's 1-1 draw with Granda and how Lionel Messi's knee injury will affect PSG's upcoming fixtures.
Thousands of Cubans took to the streets in July to protest the county's communist government. But since then, two months later, we have heard very little about the pro-democracy movement in Cuba. Many of the individuals who led the protests are now in prison, says John Suarez, executive director at the Center for a Free Cuba. Despite that, Suarez says he remains hopeful for Cuba's future. “[T]here's a profound desire by Cubans for change,” Suarez says, adding that what is needed now “is international solidarity, not just in the United States, but from the democratic world more broadly.” Suarez joins “The Daily Signal Podcast" to discuss the strength of the pro-democracy movement in Cuba and how America can play a role in moving the Caribbean island nation toward freedom. Also on today's show, we read your letters to the editor and share a good news story about a simple way you can say thank you to two U.S. military veterans. Enjoy the show! Mark 9:30-37 Jesus and his disciples passed through Galilee. He did not want anyone to know it; for he was teaching his disciples, saying to them, “The Son of Man is to be betrayed into human hands, and they will kill him, and three days after being killed, he will rise again.” But they did not understand what he was saying and were afraid to ask him. Then they came to Capernaum; and when he was in the house he asked them, “What were you arguing about on the way?” But they were silent, for on the way they had argued with one another who was the greatest. He sat down, called the twelve, and said to them, “Whoever wants to be first must be last of all and servant of all.” Then he took a little child and put it among them; and taking it in his arms, he said to them, “Whoever welcomes one such child in my name welcomes me, and whoever welcomes me welcomes not me but the one who sent me.”

John 6:35, 41-51 Jesus said, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never be hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.” Then the Jews began to complain about him because he said, “I am the bread that came down from heaven.” They were saying, “Is not this Jesus, the son of Joseph, whose father and mother we know? How can he now say, ‘I have come down from heaven'?” Jesus answered them, “Do not complain among yourselves. No one can come to me unless drawn by the Father who sent me; and I will raise that person up on the last day. It is written in the prophets, ‘And they shall all be taught by God.' Everyone who has heard and learned from the Father comes to me. Not that anyone has seen the Father except the one who is from God; he has seen the Father. Very truly, I tell you, whoever believes has eternal life. I am the bread of life. Your ancestors ate the manna in the wilderness, and they died. This is the bread that comes down from heaven, so that one may eat of it and not die. I am the living bread that came down from heaven. Whoever eats of this bread will live forever; and the bread that I will give for the life of the world is my flesh.”

DeSantis, and the three simple rules that Miami follows to be one of the top cities for business in America. Mayor Suarez discusses why so many startups are leaving Silicon Valley to relocate to Miami, why cities need to embrace tech, entrepreneurship, and innovation, and the risk they face if they don't. He shares why Miami has embraced crypto currencies and was the host of the largest Bitcoin conference in the world. Finally, he explains why investing in police, quality of life, and being one of the best low-tax cities to live in America are putting Miami on a path to a great future.
