TODAY'S HOMILY IN BRIEF. NOTHING RUINS A MAN'S LIFE AS NOT HAVING THE RIGHT PRIORITIES. THE PRIORITY OF OUR EXISTENCE IS TO BE AT THE SERVICE OF THE WORD AND SACRAMENTS RATHER THAN OF FOOD. DON'T MORTGAGEE THE GLORY OF THE FUTURE FOR THE PLEASURE OF TODAY'S FOOD. Kindly listen to today's episode of my podcast for details of today's homily. TODAY'S HOMILY IN BRIEF. GOD SO LOVED THE WORLD THAT HE SENT NOT JUST HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON BUT YOU AND I THAT THROUGH US MANY MIGHT BE SAVED. TODAY'S HOMILY IN BRIEF. IN HIS EPISTLE TO THE PHILIPIANS (2:5), ST PAUL TELLS US THAT THIS MIND MUST BE IN US AS IT IS IN CHRIST JESUS... JESUS CHRIST TELLS US THAT BEING BORN AGAIN IS AN IMPERATIVE ASPECT OF OUR CHRISTIAN LIFE; A LIFE THAT DEMANDS OF US TO BE 'LIFTED UP' FROM BEING DOMINATED BY THE MUNDANE DIMENSION OF THE UNIVERSE TO SHARING IN THE DIVINE LIFE OF GOD TO EXTENT THAT EVERYTHING AT OUR DISPOSAL ARE CONSCIENTIOUSLY EMPLOYED FOR THE SALVATION AND WELLBEING OF ALL. For our NINE-DAY-BEGINNING OF THE MONTH INTENSIVE PRAYERS AND NOVENA kindly pray your daily Rosary with Matthew 28:18-20; Mark 6:7-13; Acts 4:31; Psalms 2, 83 and 110 from Monday 1st to Tuesday 9th April, 2024. TODAY'S HOMILY IN BRIEF. THE HISTORY OF HUMAN SALVATION REVEALS THAT GOD ATTEMPTED DIFFERENT GESTURRS IN VARIOUS EPOCHS TO EFFECT HUMAN SALVATION BUT IN ITS FINALITY BROUGHT ABOUT HUMAN SALVATION THROUGH THE INCARNATION, DEATH AND RESURRECTION OF JESUS CHRIST. MARY'S ACCEPTANCE TO CARRY OUT THE WILL OF GOD WITH REFERENCE TO THE INCARNATION MARKS THE BEGINNING OF HUMAN SALVATION. TODAY, WE'RE INVITED TO ALWAYS SUBMIT TO GOD'S WILL AS OUR WAY OF CONTRIBUTING TO PERFECTING HUMAN SALVATION. THE CALL TO DISCIPLESHIP OF CHRIST JESUS AND CHRISTIAN LIVING DEMANDS OF US UNRESERVED OBEDIENCE TO GOD. EVEN THOUGH THIS IS THE DESIRE OF MANY OR ALL CHRISTIANS, THERE ARE ALWAYS OBSTICLES AND FORCES THAT CHALLENGE OUR CONSISTENT OBEDIENCE TO GOD. WE MUST ALWAYS STAND RESOLUTE IN OBEYING GOD AND DOING HIS WILL ABOVE ALL, AT ALL TIMES AND IN ALL THINGS. THE CALL TO FOLLOW JESUS CHRIST IS NO DOUBT AN INVITATION TO SHARE IN THE LIFE OF GOD AND AS SUCH PROMISES ALL FORMS OF BLESSINGS. IT'S NEVERTHELESS A CALL THAT COMES AT A PRICE. WE MUST THEREFORE, JUST LIKE JESUS CHRIST, BE PREPARED TO PAY THE ULTIMATE PRICE OF OUR CHRISTIAN FAITH AND DISCIPLESHIP WHENEVER THE NEED ARISES. THERE IS NO TRUE AND LASTING CROWN WITHOUT SHARING IN THE CROSS OF JESUS CHRIST.
