Lessons from a Farm - The Bummer Lamb
Oftentimes we are our worst critic and greatest adversary. Opening ourselves to the compassionate truth of the Christ consciousness will raise our vibration and shine our light brightly into the world.
Proverbs 3:1-12 Sometimes we think we know where our life is headed. Sometimes life has other ideas. God has a vision for us in the midst of all that we are going through. Philip Mills shares his story of that experience.

The latest U.S. jobs report was stronger than expected, especially given the generally economic uncertainty often echoed by media reports. While there are a few caveats to the report, the positive tone should not have been too surprising given the recent performance for multifamily. U.S. annual effective rent growth was 0.9% for the latest week, but many markets and submarkets have returned to growth rates of at least 3.0%. Annual wage growth was 3.8% in April, which should help rent growth normalize as supply and demand become balanced in more locations...Explore our webpage for more insights and resources:https://bit.ly/Radix_Website

Firstborn Redeemer (Exodus 13:1-2, 11-16, May 4th 2025) by Sovereign Grace Church
Throughout the Gospel accounts of Jesus, we see Him perform so many incredible miracles. These moments separate Jesus from comparison to any other religious figure throughout human history. We must grapple with why so many are collected and shared when they are beyond our comprehension. The miracles in the Gospel of Luke are more than moments of wonder; they are invitations to learn from and worship our Lord. This week, we conclude with Luke 24:13-35 ESV, highlighting the blessing we have through the presence of Jesus. Speaker: Michael Bayne Text: Luke 24:13-35 ESV

With the Detroit Red Wings season post-mortem well-documented, we take a look at what Steve Yzerman's top priority should be for Hockeytown this offseason: getting scoring help for Dylan Larkin, Lucas Raymond, Alex DeBrincat, Patrick Kane, and Marco Kasper in the form of Marner, Ehlers, Bennett, or Marchand? Defensive support for Mortiz Seider, Simon Edvinsson, and Albert Johansson by way of Gavrikov? Goaltending solution other than Talbot or Mrazek? (4:30) We also take a look at Isaac Howard of the Tampa Bay Lightning and whether he would be worth trading for, or if Danielson, Brandsegg-Nygard, Mazur or others are the solution for the Detroit Red Wings (16:15). Next, a Stanley Cup Playoffs update, including Mikko Rantanen's incredible Game 7 revenge performance, Hellebuyck and the Jets' unexpected goalie issue, Marner and the Leafs beating Tkachuk and the Senators, McDavid, Draisaitl and the Oilers beating the Kings again, the Capitals dispatching Lane Hutson's Canadiens, and Tkachuk and the Panthers making easy work of Vasilevskiy and the Lightning (29:45). After that, a U18 IIFH tournament recap and preview of the NHL Draft Lottery (46:55) before our 2025 NHL Draft Prospect Profile on Brady Martin: is he a Marco Kasper clone and "Yzerman's type"? (50:50) All of that and plenty more before we take your questions and comments in our Overtime segment (58:22) - enjoy! Pastor JD explains some of the reasons from Bible Prophecy in concert with the Word of God's infallibility how it's abundantly clear for those who have eyes to see that this is without a doubt the beginning of the end.

One Year Bible Podcast: Join Hunter and Heather Barnes on 'The Daily Radio Bible' for a daily 20-minute spiritual journey. Engage with scripture readings, heartfelt devotionals, and collective prayers that draw you into the heart of God's love. Embark on this year-long voyage through the Bible, and let each day's passage uplift and inspire you. TODAY'S EPISODE: Welcome to the Daily Radio Bible! In today's episode, host Hunter invites listeners on Day 125 of our journey through scripture, exploring passages from 2 Samuel, 1 Chronicles, and Matthew. Together, we'll witness King David's military victories and his profound act of kindness to Mephibosheth, hear the story of Jesus' triumphant entry into Jerusalem, and learn from his teachings and parables about faith, humility, and true authority. As always, Hunter encourages us to warm our hearts by the fire of God's love, reminding us that our greatest victories come through the humble, conquering King—Jesus—who offers rest and peace to all who are weary and burdened. Whether you're in Sweden, Ukraine, or anywhere else in the world, you are part of this global, grace-filled community. So, grab your Bible, settle in, and let's discover the treasures of God's Word together. TODAY'S DEVOTION: Someone greater than King David is coming. All throughout today's reading, we see David—the greatest king in Israel's memory—defeating his enemies, subduing kingdoms, and bringing treasures of gold, silver, and bronze into Jerusalem. The nations fall before him; his name grows famous. But the spoils of his conquest are fleeting, material things, trophies of war. Yet the Bible points us forward. There is another King coming—one greater than David. And this King, Jesus, does not conquer by the shed blood of others, but by shedding his own blood for the sake of the world. His triumph isn't measured in riches or territory, but in lives redeemed, in sinners welcomed home, in foreigners and outcasts called sons and daughters. He comes not riding a war horse, but humble and lowly, on a borrowed donkey. He enters not to take, but to give; not to demand, but to serve. The treasures he wins are not silver and gold, but people—the weary, the burdened, those defeated by life, the ones ready to wave that white flag of surrender. You and I are invited again today to see this King, to see his humility, his gentleness, his generous victory. "Come to me, all you who are weary and carry heavy burdens," he says, "and I will give you rest." He offers his own victorious life for those broken, discouraged, or worn down by their own wars—whether in relationships, finances, health, or hope itself. His victory is for sinners, tax collectors, prostitutes, fishermen, and anyone who will come to him in humility. It is for all who will lay down their burdens and take up his yoke—light, gentle, and full of grace. In his kingdom, defeat becomes victory, sorrow turns to joy, burdens lift as we walk with him. Let us look, then, for our King, humble and riding on a donkey, offering rest for our souls. Let his life fill us, his joy be our strength, and his victory be our song. May we rejoice in his gentle rule today, surrendering all that weighs us down, and finding life—true life—in the One who gave himself for us. That's a prayer I have for my own soul. That's the prayer I have for my family, for my wife, my daughters, and my son. And that's the prayer I have for you. May it be so. TODAY'S PRAYERS: Lord God Almighty and everlasting father you have brought us in safety to this new day preserve us with your Mighty power that we might not fall into sin or be overcome by adversity. And in all we do, direct us to the fulfilling of your purpose through Jesus Christ Our Lord amen. Oh God you have made of one blood all the peoples of the earth and sent your blessed son to preach peace to those who are far and those who are near. Grant that people everywhere may seek after you, and find you. Bring the nations into your fold, pour out your Spirit on all flesh, and hasten the coming of your kingdom through Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen. And now Lord, make me an instrument of your peace. Where there is hatred let me sow love. Where there is injury, pardon. Where there is doubt, faith. Where there is despair, hope. Where there is darkness, light. And where there is sadness, Joy. Oh Lord grant that I might not seek to be consoled as to console. To be understood as to understand, to be loved as to love. For it is in the giving that we receive, in the pardoning that we are pardoned, it is in the dying that we are born unto eternal life. Amen And now as our Lord has taught us we are bold to pray... Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom come thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven, give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our tresspasses as we forgive those who trespass against us, and lead us not unto temptation, but deliver us from evil, for thine is the Kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen. Loving God, we give you thanks for restoring us in your image. And nourishing us with spiritual food, now send us forth as forgiven people, healed and renewed, that we may proclaim your love to the world, and continue in the risen life of Christ. Amen. What does God really think about beauty? Far from the awkward silence many expect from the church on this topic, the Bible speaks candidly and powerfully about physical attraction, self-image, and how we view one another. In this exploration of Song of Solomon, we discover a woman who feels insufficient despite receiving lavish praise from her beloved. "I am dark but lovely," she confesses – acknowledging both her beauty and what she perceives as imperfection. This duality mirrors our spiritual condition: simultaneously bearing God's image yet marked by brokenness. When she compares herself to common wildflowers, her beloved counters with stunning affirmation: "As a lily among brambles, so is my love among young women." He doesn't just see her beauty; he celebrates what makes her exceptional. This ancient text reveals a profound truth for modern relationships: there's a significant difference between lying and choosing to see the best in someone. The couple engages in a beautiful exchange of affirmation that creates a sanctuary of love – where their native language becomes mutual encouragement, blessing and praise. Their garden rendezvous deliberately echoes Eden, reminding us of what love looked like before sin distorted it – when we could share ourselves without shame and build each other up rather than tear each other down. Our beauty-obsessed culture could learn much from Solomon's perspective: physical beauty is a gift to enjoy and cultivate, but never a god to worship. Love may delight in the body, but it must be anchored in the soul. As we battle against aging (a fight where "time is undefeated"), remember that what truly matters is the growth of character, the wisdom that comes with years, and the beauty that outlasts physical appeal.Join us in discovering how Scripture offers a refreshingly balanced approach that neither idolizes physical attractiveness nor dismisses its significance – showing us instead how to receive beauty as a gift, ground it in covenant love, and surrender it to the glory of God. And it just might take a couple of listens to prep for the amplification of Uranian energy in August. It's a mini master class. - Last day of New Moon Energy. Continue to lean into the quiet of it all. Rest, replenish, cast a spell because what you plant in a Taurus new moon has got roots to provide for the long haul. It's especially good for career and money magick. - Venus enters Aries. We like her here. We do. She's blunt and quick and ok to burn something down to get to what she really desires. There's no mincing words in this phase. There is clarity and no b.s. It may feel like somehow if you're not used to receiving a fem vibe with clear boundaries and no room for negotiations. Thursday, May 1st: - Uranus Sextile True Node. A sextile in astrology is always considered a benefit. This collective transit offers us lessons that have us breaking up with tradition in any and all ways. Think internalized patriarchy be gone, binaries AWAY! Proper path, boxes, and 'right ways' to do things are banished and simply will no longer work. - Day 1 of Stable Classic - No props needed for this workout. We're brewing magic in our pelvic bowl with sufi rolls, full deep core, corkscrew, reverse plank, side plank...strength and stability training...swan, rolling plank, and puppy. This is a well crafted tiny & mighty series. Friday, May 2nd: - Venus conjunct Neptune. This one is going to call in themes of romantic relationships. Either a rebirth of romanticism, a new love of some kind, or an obsession with the love you don't currently have access to. We simply have to witness how it plays out and work with what roles through...but please remember Venus is not just amorous love, it's finances and general pleasure, and Neptune is dreams and delusions. This could be work or finance related. - Aphrodite's Day. It's time to ask: What does my inner goddess need in order to remember she is sacred, divine, and designed to receive? Take the rest. Eat the chocolate. Put your hand on your heart, breathe deeply, wear red lipstick. Demand attention from yourself. Light yourself on fire today. Saturday, May 3rd: Breathe, meditate, drink water, eat vegetables, get on the mat. Sunday, May 4th: - Pluto stations Retrograde. This little guy was all the topic not so long ago. Pluto finally moved into Aquarius after being in Capricorn 16 years. Pluto will station today and be retrograde through October 13th. This will pull us all in again in terms of cathartic change. Emotionally it might feel like it in its capacity to affect positive change/growth. "What will move me/us into the future? I have no emotional attachment to the solve...but I am deeply attached to solving." - Day 1 of Stable Building Blocks - You'll need a set of yoga blocks (cork preferred) for this workout. We're back to giving attention to shoulder health and stability (new daily stressors), classical pilates mat with a splash of weird. - Your weekly mantra: Venus, Venus, Aphrodite, goddess of love and finances I clear a place for you at the table. In fact I clear the entire table for you. The table is yours. It belongs to you. Eat and serve My appetite is big and I am ready to feed. Venus, Venus, Aphrodite, goddess of love and finances I AM OPEN TO RECEIVE.
