We want them to obey because of their loving relationship with God.

This week's activity reminds us that with the help of the Holy Spirit, we're given extra grace to fulfill our mission to love others. As mentioned in Romans 5:5, "And hope does not put us to shame, because God's love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us." The Parable of the Wedding Feast is an allegory to going to Sunday Masses and receiving the Holy Eucharist. If someone important (like the Pope) invited us to go to a party, wouldn't we be excited to go? Every week, God invites us to celebrate the Mass and give Thanks to Him for sending His only Son to die for our sins. We give Thanks to Him for loving us so much. And when we seek His Kingdom first and give Him priority, everything else falls into place. And we can stand firm on His promise in Psalm 37:4, "Delight yourself also in the Lord and He shall give you the desires of your heart."
