Today's episode walks you through this week's astrology + practical and magical tactics to help you harness and navigate the energetics May 19th - 25th 2025. Last week was a layer cake of deep feels and healing. A reveal, loaded with spiritual topics, it was sensitive and we may have cried. Multiple times. Did you let it out? Did you allow the shower from your eyes to refresh the way you see things moving forward? The reveal under the Scorpio Full Moon was something we clearly need to let go of. If it's a relationship, that's the easier version, but it also could have been our most subconscious shadow of how we think about ourselves. It's time to let the sub-par, diminished, shamed, judged, or imposter narratives GO! Last week did you: Get on the mat 2 - 4xs? Listen to 2️⃣ NEW episode on The Magic Spark ? Have a good cry? This week is big and mixed. Again. Of course. It's 2025. The sun and saturn both shift and that's simply enough to have things feeling different and weird....yet again. Stay alert. Stay or get in practice. It's the only way out. Stay present. Pivot when needed. Witness the feelings but try to get really curious as to their reality. What can you revamp, rewrite, rework, or do new in order to empower and grow? This week: Get on the mat 2 - 4xs
As usual Teresa Giudice has listened to our Pod, is not happy with us, and in an unusual turn of events, has responded. Teresa is busy spreading some half truths regarding her future with Bravo, her interest - or lack thereof - in joining Bravo's upcoming Wife Swap, her excitement - or lack thereof - in The Real Housewives of Rhode Island (RHORI), Andy Cohen's comments that RHORI is about a group of Italian Americans which will give RHONJ a run for its money and oh, so very much more. Gia Giudice uses Auntie Mel and Uncle Joey for clicks as she prepares for her “very own” “Next Gen”. Last, but certainly not least, Sonja Morgan cries out for help for a second time in under a week as she is almost arrested - allegedly - for trespassing, labeled "persona non grata" in a second state - Florida - to add to her NYC “unwanted” moniker, is carted away in an ambulance which was almost a police car and has a message for everyone which is broken down, discussed and analyzed to the core herein today! @behindvelvetrope @davidyontef Learn more about your ad choices. Today's episode is very special to me. I have as a guest my Aunt Liz. She was diagnosed with breast cancer last summer. Since her diagnosis my mom has been unable to make the trip to see her. So I offered to take my mom to see her sister, my aunt, who I have not seen for years. The visit was amazing. During the visit I asked Aunt Liz whether she would share her cancer journey with me on the podcast. She graciously was more than willing to share her story. I hope that you can laugh, cry, relate, or learn something from our conversation, but if nothing else, I believe you will learn to love and appreciate Aunt Liz as much as we do! I hope you enjoy!Intro Music www.bensound.com "Happy Rock"

Welcome to this episode of the Full Stop podcast, where we're joined by our guests John and Ben to explore the joys and complexities of being a childless aunt, uncle, or godparent. Together, we reflect on how these roles offer meaningful ways to nurture, support, and build a legacy when one is childless not by choice. Listen for advice on boundaries, freedom, and the unique impact of chosen relationships across generations. Please note that we do cover what it's like not to be an aunt, uncle or godparent, as one of our presenters does not have this caring role. This might be a challenging listen for some of our audience. (Members of our online community can carry on the discussion in our safe space.) Download the transcript

On this powerful episode of I Am Refocused Radio, we sit down with author and survivor Harold Phifer, whose life reads like a movie script—except it's all real. From growing up in 1960s Mississippi with a schizophrenic mother, an abusive aunt, and the weight of racism and bullying, to surviving a Taliban suicide bombing and navigating war zones as a contract air traffic controller, Harold's story is nothing short of jaw-dropping. We talk about his latest book, My Bully, My Aunt, and Her Final Gift, and unpack how war zones in Afghanistan, Iraq, and Guantanamo Bay felt more peaceful than the chaos of his childhood. With raw honesty and unexpected humor, Harold opens up about the power of writing, the role of humor in healing, and how he learned to survive—by staying quiet, sharp, and unshakably human. This is more than a conversation. It's a testament to the human spirit.https://riseandread.com/Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/i-am-refocused-radio--2671113/support.

What if you could look into a crystal ball and see exactly what your family's long-term care needs will be in the future? In this episode, I had the pleasure of speaking with Lily Vittayarukskul, the brilliant CEO and co-founder of Waterlily, an AI-powered platform that uses over 500 million data points to help families plan for the financial and emotional realities of aging. Lily is a World Economic Forum Top Innovator, a patented inventor, and someone who turned a heartbreaking personal experience into a mission-driven company that is disrupting the way we think about long-term care. As someone with two parents in their 80s, this topic hits close to home for me—and I know it will for many of you too. We talked about everything from how she built Waterlily and earned the trust of major investors to the importance of planning so families aren't torn apart in times of crisis. These are the highlights of our conversation: - Waterlily Predicts Long-Term Care Needs with AI: Waterlily uses over 500 million data points to help families predict their future long-term care needs based on lookalike families. It's like looking into a data-driven future mirror. -A Personal Family Crisis Sparked the Mission: Lily was only 16 when a long-term care event involving her aunt devastated her family emotionally and financially. That experience inspired her to shift from a career in aerospace to founding a company focused on preventing that same pain for others. - Bold Pivot from B2C: Originally aimed at consumers, Waterlily pivoted to serve the financial services industry, empowering advisors to have better long-term care conversations with clients. This B2B strategy became the core of their scalable, subscription-based model. - Built for Impact, Not Just Speed: Instead of rushing a product to market, Lily spent two years building a strong technical and data foundation before launching. That decision paid off with major partnerships, including Prudential and several Fortune 100 companies. - Culture of Trust and Smart Scaling: Despite impressive growth, Lily keeps her team intentionally lean, leveraging large language models and automation to scale efficiently. She emphasizes trust and alignment with all at her company as the foundation for sustainable success. About the guest: Lily Vittayarukskul, Waterlily's CEO and Co-Founder, started college at 14, and by 16, she was venturing into a career in aerospace engineering as an intern at NASA. However, that same year, her life took a dramatic turn when her Aunt, who raised her and was a cornerstone in her first-generation immigrant family, was diagnosed with terminal stage colon cancer. The ensuing financial and emotional devastation, exacerbated by their family's lack of preparedness, tore permanent rifts in her family, and compelled her to pivot her career from aerospace to a lifelong dedication to building solutions in healthcare. Fueled by personal tragedy and a resolve to forge change, Lily graduated from UC Berkeley with a bachelor's degree in Genetics and Data Science and led product and engineering at multiple startups before founding Waterlily. His daughter refuses to tell anyone where she placed Giulia and won't respond to your family's desperate attempts to connect. To what lengths should you go to find an elderly relative who might not even know you're looking for her? [Thanks to attorney Corbin Payne for helping us answer this one!] Your cousin's ex-wife unexpectedly reached out to "apologize" about your childhood molestation by her ex-husband (your cousin).
