Here to talk about movies, games, and the reallllllll issues ⚛️
Rather quick but very enjoyable game about managing your way across an abandoned land. Also, a quick mention of another game that didn't capture me like I thought it would.
Very unique Sci-Fi mystery/puzzler game that mixes original horror with moral ambiguities in a terrific underwater setting.
Phone game about a lost cellphone that delivered a fresh mystery experience
Call it a Sci Fi walking simulator, but if you enjoyed Firewatch, you’ll like this one too, which I did. Aside from infuriating puzzles
Finally watched the original Dune and while I was completely lost I still enjoyed the story being told and the creature effects.
Happy to say that I reached the end of this without looking up any hints, but I came very close to giving up on where I needed to go. Cool game, but if you get lost you’re out of luck. Try to escape as a multi-mouthed tentacle monster.
The will to survive in this movie is accompanied by a great soundtrack a beautifully filmed environment.
While I enjoyed how it played, I wish the story had been structured differently.
Having enjoyed this movie in the theater it wasn’t until a few days ago that I potentially picked up on what they were trying to accomplish with 2 scenes that at the time bothered me and took me out of the experience.
Other than a few details that I would have liked to see pay off more, this was a fun dark comedy/ horror that takes the fear of joining into a new family to the extreme.
After finishing the best picture winner I can see why it took home the prize. There can be a lot to be said about the messages presented and they are very important to keep in mind for anyone’s future.
After the initial awe of the game had left it still held up as one of the more impressive presentations I’ve played in a while with more than a few secrets I didn’t come across.
A movie that starts with disaster and continues on without any time to breath until the end.
Best picture nominee about a team set out during WW1 to deliver a message in this single-shot film.
Kinda forgot this existed, but thought it was a solid Naval action/thriller
A rescue party is formed to go after a tribe of native Americans that kidnapped residents of a western town in this highly grim frontier film.
Only scratched the surface but already very impressed from the game company that does sandbox games the best.
Based on an H.P.Lovecraft story about a meteor that lands at a family’s home and starts to change its environment.
Catching up on some movies.
2 sci fi horror movies that are worth watching late at night with a group of friends
When technology continually replaces more human tasks, who is responsible for the outcomes, us or the machines?
I can see why the show had the hype it did and I can say I’m happy about how it turned out.
Took me forever to play this but the first impression was both terrifying and hilarious.
A highly grounded version of a villain set in the Batman universe, that reaches the climax of a lifetime transformation into madness. Nominated for Best Picture.
2 Lighthouse keepers are sent to an island to overwatch the installation as their patience for each other fades.
Justin Roiland’s game that uses the Rick and Morty formula to tell an entertaining and bizarre story.
Took me forever to finish this Sci Fi series but it has very cool visuals and universe that it sets up and I look forward for a season 2
The sequel that tied two movies together that are both great stand alone films and also part of a larger universe.
Hopefully this will branch off a sequel and won’t be the third failed trilogy iteration.
Not the best campaign in the series, but still had its own unique gameplay elements such as a highly realistic night raid component and more or less ripped off a movie for a fight scene.
Something awesome that came out of Adult Swim awhile ago that I completely missed.
While it isn’t bad, it doesn’t hold the same experience that the earlier games of the same title did. This isn’t due to entirely the game itself, but more of a very bad trend I’ve been noticing and I’m sure you have too.
Trying to find all the creepy or disturbing movies out there, here are 2 more.
Not your typical story. Great music and visuals, but unusual plot
Taking a look at a movie that has skipped by me for many years
Closing thoughts on the last episode and the whole series.
