The Colorado Avalanche lost another game to another bottom-of-the-standings team, the Anaheim Ducks, 5-3. Something that has happened far too often this season. But they did regroup and beat the St.Louis Blues. But St. Louis made a game of it in the 3rd. Earlier in the season the Avalanche seemed to be having a problem with starting games, now they seem to be having a problem in finishing them. A win heading into the All-Star break always makes you feel good. We break it all down! Tune in and subscribe! Follow & Subscribe on all Podcast platforms…

In this episode Neja, Nina and Tamara can't stop pointing out that IT'S BEEN FOUR MONTHS even though that's not even true because IT'S BEEN THREE MONTHS since they recorded this making it SEVEN MONTHS since the last episode came out before this was recorded but that's not accurate either because IT'S BEEN ONE WEEK since the most recent episode was posted because two episodes have already been released in 2022 that were recorded in the summer.
There's a lot to unpack from the Chiefs loss to the Bengals but it's much bigger than a scheme or a play. The officials took control of the this game, period. And in the final moments, they decided to take all the fun out of a great game and fans were left feeling ripped off. Forget who won and lost... the end of the Chiefs game... and the Dallas game in the NFC, left everyone asking why the league can't do better. Stan Weber joins us to talk about all the big plays, the new playoff scenario and previews the Kansas State-LSU Texas Bowl game his is calling Tuesday night.

We're only two episodes away from the season finale, and we're not ok! This episode is packed with meaty development for all of our favorite characters, but we're still left wanting more when it comes to Eve Polastri. What is she thinking? Why was she at Niko's bedside? How many fights has she had in the ICU with Niko's Papi? So many questions that need answers. One answer we finally do get however, is what on earth did Carolyn say to Villanelle in that Russian prison. FINALLY KILLING EVE!! And we thank you. There's also Eve's face off with Dasha, Villanelle's meeting with the Lady in Red, and Konstantin falling deeper into chaos. We have a feeling the next snack is going to be jam packed! As always, if you have any thoughts (or feelings) about a topic we discussed or Polastri theories of your own to share, please do so by emailing us at heyyouguys@wellwellvillanelle.com or hitting us up on social media. We have come to the end of another quarter. What a challenging quarter it has been. Many changes throughout the world due to COVID-19. However we are going to look back at last quarter, I will show you how and then reset our destiny for the next quarter. Are you ready? All you will need is an A4 sheet of paper to do this. STEP 1: END OF GAME ANALYSIS Draw up 6 columns put each question in the 6 columns. What were the goals for the last quarter? For each goal listed mark complete or incomplete. (a) For each completed goal how was it completed? (b) For each incomplete goal - what is missing? What are the lessons learned from the quarter? What must I do next? STEP 2: END OF QUARTER DESTINY (April - June) Draw up 4 columns put each question in the 4 columns. Life Destiny - What must be true by the end of June? Life Destiny - How will I make that happen? Sport Destiny- What must be true by the end of June? Sport Destiny - How will I make that happen? Both Steps 1 & 2 are explained in much greater detail in these episodes. Make sure you listen, take notes and do both of these steps in preparation for the next episode. Have you signed up for the Successful Athletes Masterclass? It's a FREE training series. If you are struggling to perform in competition the way you know that you can, the first thing do to is to get feedback from your coach. Have a meeting with him/her or them and find out what you need to do to improve and bring out your best performances. But what happens if your coach doesn't give you anything concrete that will help you? What do you do then? Because it is easy; * to become lost. * disheartened. * lose motivation. * it feels like a constant struggle. A constant struggle because you don't know what to do because you aren't getting the guidance. This is where we have to change your approach because it will be easy for you to fall into that mental space of; * the coach doesn't like you or, * you are not the coach's favourite or, * the coach prefers the other players or, * you compare yourself to the others in the team. It's time for you to take control back into your game, it's your responsibility to become the athlete you want to become - the best athlete you want to become. This Awareness Plan below is outlined in more detail in the episode - get out your notebook because you are going to need it for this one. 4 Step Awareness Plan 1. What skills are you good at? 2. What skills are you not good at? 3. The skills you are not good at - how do you improve them? 4. Devise a plan - when will you work on them. If you are struggling to perform in competition. If you are losing the motivation and the passion in your sport. If you are getting no direction or guidance. If you don't know how to improve or, How to get into your game rhythm. If you are putting a lot of pressure on yourself to perform and, Wanting to prove yourself because you know you deserve to be there or, When you compete it goes poorly and you become disheartened. I have put together a FREE VIDEO TRAINING for you. How to Crush It Under Pressure & Bring Out Your Best When You Compete. On Duel, we chat about the final season of HBO's Game of Thrones. White Josh doesn't like the pacing, but T.R. Simms wishes previous seasons had this pace. Everyone knew Daenerys Targaryen was batshit crazy since she emerged from the fire; she killed a lot of people before King's Landing. Also, White Josh is afraid of scary movies, so we try to convince him to try some new and old favorites. --This week's episode is sponsored by Gold Diggers, a new audio drama about four women who must learn how to support their wealthy men or pay a devasting price.

It feels good to be a TFC supporter this weekend. After a slow start but taking a good lead and finishing the game 2-1, Toronto snatch three crucial points to stay in the mix for the MLS postseason. It was a big win because with two games against NYRB, and now a part of the CONCACAF Group Stage, TFC needed to get this win in the bag to make sure they aren't back on their heels going into the toughest stretch of games in the club's short history. Stephe and Spark are joined by Ben Knight of onwardsoccer.com who has returned to his site after taking a short hiatus. Lots to discuss over the quick 24 minute pod from the game in hand and the ones on the horizon.
