Welcome to the podcast where we talk about life, love, and the pursuit of...coffee. A little slice of life, a little comedy, some great friends, and a lot of food. Oh, and can't forget the coffee - where we find the coffee and the coffee we enjoy. Join us

This episode includes guests Tony (from Episode 5.5) and Tanya, and is recorded in their very own living room in rural Iowa (pardon the reverb). We recount our adventures in Iowa, Kansas, Nebraska, and Missouri. We visited botanical gardens, a zoo and aquarium, restaurants, a mini golf, a chocolate shop, and more! Also hear about our concerted efforts to contain the sheep and other farm animal antics.Intro/Outro music: Spring Evening by Serge Quadrado is licensed under a Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International License. https://freemusicarchive.org/music/serge-quadrado/air-acoustic/spring-evening
Today we talk briefly of our visit to see the aquatic dinosaurs in Shawano, and then our much warmer weather adventures in Madison with our good friend Sara. Much food, drinks, and walking was had by all. We refilled our tummies at La Brioche, Sardine, and Tavernakaya, and then worked our calories off at Henry Vilas Zoo, Olbrich Gardens, and the Capital.Intro/Outro music: Spring Evening by Serge Quadrado is licensed under a Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International License. https://freemusicarchive.org/music/serge-quadrado/air-acoustic/spring-evening
Butter, bread, and cheese. While simple, so much comfort can be found in a simple grilled cheese sandwich. We recently enjoyed some tasty grilled cheese sandwiches thanks to 888 Cheese & Co, while enjoying some drinks at Ahnapee Brewery's Green Bay location. We also headed to Spork for essential coffees and breakfast. While each traditional American diner may have some small differences, there's some sort of comforting consistency there. On this episode, we dive into our diner experiences of past and present. From Northern Wisconsin, to Manitowoc County, from Stevens Point to the Fox Valley, and more. Remember the Y-Go-By, Timberline, or the Mountain Bear? Ever visit The Diner, Park Ridge, Our Place, or Julie's Cafe? Point Pancake House or South Point? What diners do you recommend we check out? We also chat about our new coffee experience at Tazza Italian Coffee Co and dinner at Taste of India. We went off on an adventure to Madison, WI where we explored Canoecopia at the Alliant Energy Center, Crema Cafe, Wonderstate Coffee, 5 Star Korean BBQ, Brothers Three, and more! It was a cold day that called for coffee, hot chocolate, and our first taste of soju. Guess who liked the soju, and who didn't. We also discuss past Madison visits to the Henry Vilas Zoo, State Street, Museum of Contemporary Art, and The Curve diner.Intro/Outro music: Spring Evening by Serge Quadrado is licensed under a Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International License. https://freemusicarchive.org/music/serge-quadrado/air-acoustic/spring-evening
We go on an Appleton adventure with Jenni & Tyler, and chat about coffee, food, relationships, Boot Barn, Burlington, World Market, and Koreana. And food. Our good friend Tony, AKA T-Unit, plays guest host on this special episode of Hey You while visiting from out of state! While coffee talk is a light roast, the comedy can be considered a full-bodied espresso...sweetened with some interesting insights into Keith and Tony's respective Tania/Tanya's. Learn about our romantic road to wedded compromise, paved with locked pantries, beer-amids, potluck parties, and more.
