Norwich City pundit and former club commentator Stuart Hodge invites you to listen to his own brand-new podcast where he will have a host of great guests join him to talk about all things relevant to Canaries fans – as well as giving his unique take on events. This is the first of a network of five podcasts which will soon be found on Hodgeythehack's YouTube channel.
After a lot of clamour from many of the podcast's fans to get Juan Arango back on to talk about the club's latest South American import, Marcelino Núñez, (as we understand, it's pretty much over the line) #HodgeOnNodge is happy to oblige as the legend himself joins Hodgeythehack fo a second straight pod. Arango, a commentator and South American football expert, runs the rule over the talented Chilean international, who has racked up nine caps at international level in less than a year. At 22, he's poised for a big move after playing a starring role in recent seasons for Universidad Católica. As with the previous podcast about Gabriel Sara, all of the key questions are answered about Núñez and Juan has some very interesting insights into a player who has had a very interesting journey up to this point – it's been a proper rags-to-riches story for the creative midfield maestro. Hodgey also asks Juan about how the pair could work together for Norwich City in a comprehensive podcast which will hopefully bring some joy after the season-opening defeat at Cardiff. First off, thank you for your support everyone and your patience waiting for the latest episode of #HodgeOnNodge. It's good to be back! The Sao Paulo midfielder is reportedly about to sign for Norwich City and most signs point to it going through so we're here to teach you all about the potential acquisition. Juan is ideally placed to comment, having commentated their game with Universidad Católica last night. What kind of player is he? A 6, 8, or 10? What's the coolest thing Juan has seen him done? Are there any red flags? What could the structure of the deal look like? Could this deal lead to other players coming from South America to Norwich potentially? All of the key questions are answered as what was initially intended to be a quick-fire 20 minute chat turned into a meticulously detailed appraisal over the course of an hour and a quarter.
