On this week's Bundesliga preview and predictions show Manu and Stefan sink their teeth into matchday 14 and discuss whether Borussia Dortmund can turn things around against RB Leipzig, if Bayer Leverkusen can continue their unbeaten run against Stuttgart, as well as casting their eye over two tasty six-pointers at the bottom of the table. Plus much more!
Bayern Munich's game against Union Berlin was snowed out last weekend, but the Bavarians will return to action on Saturday against Eintracht Frankfurt in a key Bundesliga showdown. Sitting in seventh place, Eintracht Frankfurt is eager to vault itself into the top-six position in the table, which could happen if Die Adler can find a way to knock off Bayern Munich. This version of Eintracht Frankfurt does not quite have the star power of some recent versions of This is what we have on tap for this episode: A rundown of where each team in the standings and look at the recent form of the clubs. A guess at what Thomas Tuchel might be thinking for his starting XI. Some thoughts on personnel matters (transfers and the like) going on at Bayern Munich. A prediction on the match.
Jimbo and the Euro crew of James Horncastle, Raphael Honigstein, Julien Laurens and Alvaro Romeo are back to assess another red hot weekend across the continent. Serie A leaders Inter score a huge win at champions Napoli as Calhanoglu and Thuram impress again. But don't bank on Allegri's Juventus dropping out of the title race any time soon. Barcelona see off Atletico with loanee Joao Felix scoring the winner. Can he perform consistently enough to secure a permanent move away from Atleti? It's honours even between Leverkusen and Dortmund in the Bundesliga while we witness one of the worst own goals ever in the Bundesliga II. Donnarumma sees red for PSG and Nice lose for the first time this season. But it's the death of a Nantes fan that has people discussing the need for a blanket ban on away fans in Ligue 1. We discuss the Euro 2024 draw and why Germany are feeling relieved. Plus PSV's record-breaking season, Moise Kean's new single and Francesco Totti's ex-wife's new documentary. Produced by Charlie Jones.
Eieieieiei.... Wo soll das nur alles enden? Aber hört selbst. The end of the Hinrunde is drawing nearer and it's looking ever more likely that Bayer 04 Leverkusen will stay on top of the league for the winter. That's mostly down to them still not having lost a single game, but at least this weekend they can thank the weather too. With Munich buried in snow, FC Bayern didn't manage to get their game against 1. FC Union Berlin in on Match Day 13, which meant the pharmaceuticals' home draw with Borussia Dortmund didn't cost them first place - at least not yet. Matt, Nik and Terry chat about that big clash, set up a few games to watch in the DFB Pokal this week, and chew the fat about the goings on in the Bundesliga. --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/talking-fussball/support

On this week's Bundesliga preview and predictions show Manuel and Stefan run through Union Berlin's tricky away tie with Bayern Munich, a fascinating clash between Gladbach and Hoffenheim and then take a look at whether Borussia Dortmund can raise their game to match a very impressive Bayer Leverkusen side on Sunday. Plus much, much more. Enjoy!
The Bundesliga action is back for Bayern Munich this weekend as the Bavarians will take on Union Berlin at the Allianz Arena. For the Bavarians, a win is needed to keep pace with red-hot Bayer Leverkusen, the table-toppers in the league. Meanwhile, Union Berlin has had a putrid season, so far, and is in desperate need of a reboot to get back on the right track. Desperation, however, might not be enough for Die Eisernen as Bayern Munich will undoubtedly be looking to shake off the cobwebs from an unfortunate midweek draw with FC Copenhagen in the Champions League. Let's take a look at what is on tap for this episode: A rundown of where each team in the standings and look at the recent form of the clubs. A guess at what Thomas Tuchel might be thinking for his starting XI. A prediction on the match.

He went to see the duel of the Borussias in Dortmund which was easily the highlight game of the weekend, ending 4-2 for BVB, who went down 0-2 early thanks to Gladbach's strong start. It all fell apart for the foals due to some individual mistakes, some bad luck und some questionable officiating.
In yet another victory episode, Ted joins Travis to celebrate the only winning thing in their entire lives! NO HYPERBOLE THERE! After a brief intro in which the guys chat up their favorite #9's, Part One includes shout outs to cleverly named OFC members, the Frauen's winning ways, and the OFC Man of the Match. Part Two is a look back at a win on the road versus a team VfB usually struggles against, SGE. Along the way, the guys ponder the lack of home support, the jungundwild's fast start, the play of Deniz and Max, momentum shifts, Waldy's spectacular own goal, Serhou's uncharacteristic miss, the play of the defense, and how much the guys want - or don't want - to finish in the top four. Part Three's News, Headlines, and Questions are light on News (which is usually good) but heavy on questions, including haircuts, Maxi Mittelstädt, table predictions, and actually looking forward to playing Bayer and Bayern. WHAT?! Part Four looks at the upcoming match at home versus Bremen and, not surprisingly, the guys are overly optimistic heading into this one ... and after the way this season has gone, why the heck not?! Part Five, a kind of surprise segment, sees the return of the "The World According to Auz," where Austin, the current podcast prediction leader, gives us his views on the upcoming Bundesliga matches. Episode 101 is almost as good as our first ever episode which ... well ... yeah.
Why Mainz ended Anwar El Ghazi contract with the club? Anwar El Ghazi is a Dutch professional footballer who most recently played for Bundesliga club Mainz 05.

A Friday night tilt after an international break against a desperate opponent could have been disastrous for Bayern Munich, but like they have done so many other times this season, the Bavarians fought through some uneven play on both ends of the pitch to claim a 1-0 victory. Let's take a look at what is on tap for this episode: A gander at Thomas Tuchel's odd starting XI and what that might mean for some of the players, who were passed over in favor of Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting. A public service message that you do not need to watch this mess. A rundown of the scoring (LOL) as Harry Kane just keeps producing (even though he sometimes appears to be an afterthought in the attack. Steffen Baumgart will likely get sacked soon, but he has nothing to work with. That said, he had his team prepared and they fought hard. This really just a Billy Goats team that lacks talent. Some final thoughts on Bayern Munich as the team heads into the stretch run of the Hinrunde.
On this week's preview show Manu and Stefan offer up their analysis and predictions for every game of Bundesliga matchday 12. Can Borussia Dortmund pick up all three points against Borussia Mönchengladbach? Can Heidenheim win a crucial six-pointer against Bochum? And can Eintracht Frankfurt stop the Serhou Guirassy hype train? All that and more answered on today's show.
