It is one of my favorite times of year - music festival season. Hutchinson has a real gem of a festival that, if you haven't been to it yet, this is the year to change that. RiverSong Music Festival is set to begin this weekend on July 15th and 16th with acts from all over Minnesota.
Well, what can we say? After a month (or more) off, we are back - and kicking it old school so to speak. When we started the podcast, we alternated between conversations with guests, and then, just ourselves. Over the past several episodes, we have gotten away from that and we missed it. So we are back with just a wide range of topics this week with just Roman and Jill. As always, thanks for listening.
Kids today are faced with a tough choice - what do I do after high school. If we think about it hard enough, we probably dealt with the same things. The Hutchinson School District created a program called TigerPath to help guide kids through what career choices are available to them. Then built classes in the school to help get kids exposure to those ideas. From job shadowing, to mentor, to class work, TigerPath is about helping our kids succeed. Join us as we talk with Andrea Moore, TigerPath Coordinator at ISD423 about the ins and outs of this great program. https://hutchtigerpath.com/parents/ Music: Keep on Moving - Lucky Sound via Artlist.io

Sometimes life comes at you pretty damn quick. We've been away for the past couple of weeks to visit and take care of family. We always thought it would be fun to have our moms on the show together. While we aren't able to do that quite yet, Roman sat down with his mom and had a great conversation with her from her hospital room.
On this week's podcast, we feel like there is also a renewed sense of energy with Spring. That first time the sun shines bright and you don't need to put a jacket on. No matter how you feel about the actual season of Spring, I think we can all agree that there tends to be a theme of "new" or "fresh" with spring. The birds start chirping, the grass slowly starts turning green, the buds on the trees sprout...overall it's a a time to start thinking about a renew of self, maybe a rebirth or refocus of something you've thought of.
