The Podcast: The Outdated Wrestling Hour With Bob Smith podcast – now in its fourth year – offers veteran fans (as well as curious younger ones) a chance to reminisce about classic mat action from years gone by. The show is hosted by Bob Smith, the former managing editor of Pro Wrestling Illustrated magazine who also enjoyed a long history with other famous titles. Co-host Joe Puccio (GenerationXWire.com) offers a younger perspective on old wrestling before the duo ushers in guests from throughout the professional mat landscape. The Topic: The Outdated Wrestling Hour continues on with our “My Favorite Things” podcasts featuring popular guests – and this time, one of the show's friends and frequent voices, Anthony Pires, returns with another edition that's as simple as it is enjoyable. Host Bob Smith asks about 15 simple questions: “Who is your favorite wrestler?” “Who was the best bad guy?” Pires, as always, is not at a loss for words as he delivers his fondest memories in his singularly entertaining fashion. It's the latest in a series of shows that's been going over like gangbusters – so keep tuning in to hear the next one of our favorite guests reveal the things he or she grew up watching (and loving)! Plus: Smith tries to stump Puccio with old school wrestling facts he thinks Joe might not know - but do you? Listen and see how you match up! The most valuable thing you can build into your firm is its ability to run without you. In this AMMA episode of The Game Changing Attorney Podcast, Michael and Jessica Mogill answer the questions most firm owners put off until it's too late. When should you really start succession planning? How do you pick a successor without letting loyalty override the right call? And how do you build something worth more than the income it generates while you're in it? Michael makes the case that a firm dependent on its owner is a firm that's quietly losing value, and he lays out what it takes to change that. Plus, he kicks things off with his favorite recent movies, shows, and books. Here's what you'll learn: Why succession planning should start at least five years out, and what happens when you wait until your back's against the wall How to separate the discomfort of a hard conversation from the decision that's actually right for the business What it takes to turn your firm into an asset that grows whether or not you show up If something happened to you tomorrow, would your firm survive without you? In this episode of the No More Wasted Days podcast, Sara talks about how so much of her drinking was rooted in habit, and how learning to change those habits helped her build an alcohol-free life. Inspired by James Clear's book Atomic Habits, this episode explores why quitting drinking is not just about one big decision. It is about creating small, repeatable systems that support the person you are becoming. Sara shares how daily gratitude, affirmations, new routines, and identity-based habits helped her move away from drinking and start seeing herself as someone who simply does not drink. She also breaks down James Clear's four laws of behavior change and shows how to use them to build alcohol-free habits while making drinking less automatic, less appealing, and harder to return to. If you have ever felt stuck in the same drinking patterns, this episode will help you see that change does not have to happen overnight. Small choices, repeated consistently, can completely shift your life. In this episode, you'll hear about: Why alcohol can feel more like a habit than an addiction for many people How small daily actions compound over time Why your systems matter more than willpower How to start seeing yourself as a non-drinker Simple habit swaps for the hardest craving windows How to use James Clear's four laws of behavior change in your alcohol-free journey Resources and Links: Join the Day Makers Community Looking for alcohol-free support, weekly group coaching calls, and a private community of like-minded alcohol-free badasses? She first heard about intermittent fasting in 2022 when she was working as a nutrition coach and one of her clients mentioned it to her. From that point on, she was an intermittent fasting dabbler. Finally, in October of 2024, she decided to stop dabbling and fully commit. Gin's phrase “Saturday is not a special occasion…it happens every week” spoke to her, and she knew it was time. Because of her long and varied diet history, Dee has stopped weighing herself. Instead, she goes by how she feels and the fit of her clothes. She is currently living her goal lifestyle, and feels good wearing a size 8 in pants. Dee is a self-described “logical vegan,” and she focuses on getting in nutrients from a wide variety of plant foods. One of her biggest non-scale victories is that she is no longer an emotional binge eater. She no longer has skin tags, which indicates that she has improved her insulin resistance. At the end of the episode, Dee reminds new IFers that Saturday is not a special occasion, and that they should explore all of Gin's resources, including the book 28-Day Fast Start Day by Day, which is a great way to get started on your IF journey.Join Gin in the new Fast Feast Repeat app for The Grown-Up Year: 52 Weeks to Listen, Play, and Nourish, as well as a growing collection of intermittent fasting resources. From a 24-hour hangover and the pure joy of a clean garage to campaigning for the return of the mixtape (Spotify playlists just aren't the same), Wells is showing his age again in today's episode. And after weeks of YFTers begging, Brandi FINALLY started Off Campus! The excitement continues as Wells shares that he got to film his golf show with the legendary Luke Wilson, where he discovers Luke's favorite Wes Anderson movie (not the one you'd expect) but somehow forgets to ask about The Family Stone. A devastating fumble. Meanwhile, Brandi spends her week h anging with all the dogs at Wags & Walks and accidentally spills the tea on a secret Cyrus family pet (and it's not the tortoise or the ducks!). Plus, they discuss the deeply upsetting Netflix documentary The Crash, the never-ending Murdoch family drama, and a book recommendation featuring aliens and a cat named Princess Donut. Some conversations are so good they deserve a second life. This is one of them. I recorded this with Alisa Barry back in episode 20 — and I still think about it. Alisa is one of the few people I know who has truly, successfully built a beautiful life on purpose. Not as an aesthetic — as a practice. She started a café in Atlanta in the early 90s because she loved food and beautiful things and eating as a ritual. That café became Bella Cucina Artful Food — an artisan brand that's been in Oprah's Favorite Things twice, carried in specialty stores around the world, and built entirely on the idea that what's on your table matters. She's also a Japanese ink artist with a 25-year private meditation practice. A curator of objects sourced from around the globe. Someone who picks and chooses — products, people, design, art — specifically to illuminate and elevate your life. In this conversation we go deep on devotion as a discipline. On what it took for her to claim herself as an artist after years of being known as a business owner. On the simple, powerful daily practices that brought her back to herself when her business started feeling like something she had to do instead of something she loved. She does things in such a potent, spacious, simple way. You'll leave this one inspired — and probably a little more chaotic than you wish you were. Which, same. 3 Things You'll Take Away: Devotion as discipline. When Alisa burned out, instead of pushing harder, she came back to simple daily practices that grounded her day and reconnected her to what was beautiful and important. This is what sustainable looks like.Claiming yourself as an artist. Even when the world knows you as something else. Even when you didn't go to school for it. Alisa talks about what it took to step into that identity and how it helped her feel whole. How to curate a beautiful life on purpose. Not as a luxury. As a daily choice. What you put on your table, how you begin your day, what you let in, it all adds up to something. This episode shows you what that can look like. ⏰ Timestamps (00:00) Why I'm bringing this one back — and what the peonies have to do with it (05:00) The Eggplant Lady origin story (09:00) How she ran a busy business and still lived slowly (13:00) Burning out — and the artist retreat that changed everything (17:00) Claiming yourself as an artist even when you don't feel like one (20:00) Curation as a way of life (23:00) Morning pages and what they revealed (28:00) Devotion as discipline — the rituals that hold everything together (35:00) Beauty as a daily practice (45:00) Leading with curiosity (55:00) What it means to curate a beautiful life on purpose

Buckle up because this week we've got Bieber's Coachella comeback, a tick infestation spiral, and a debate about eggs that is going to make you question everything. Brandi is fresh off a facial and headed to Stagecoach to play Desert Nights AND the Levi's party where she'll apparently be sharing a stage with a surprise Cyrus sibling she didn't even know was booked. Meanwhile, Justin Bieber just sat on a chair and sang along to his own YouTube videos at Coachella and somehow it was the greatest performance of all time?? Also: the Age of Disclosure alien documentary will genuinely ruin your sleep, Mercy with Chris Pratt is better than it has any right to be, and From is back on MGM+ and worth every penny of that subscription. Peter is a patent consultant who embarked on his intermittent fasting journey not for weight loss, but to enhance his metabolic health. 3.31.2026 #RolandMartinUnfiltered: Terence Crutcher Case Heads to Jury. SCOTUS Race Case. Senators Press 2020 Election Truth After a decade, the white officer who killed Terence Crutcher will finally face a jury for her actions, following an appeals court ruling that Betty Jo Shelby is not entitled to qualified immunity. I will speak with the family attorney and Terence's sister about this significant judicial victory. The Supreme Court Justices have heard arguments regarding a Mississippi death penalty case that raises important issues about race, jury selection, and fairness within the criminal justice system. This follows a 2019 decision in which the Supreme Court overturned another inmate's conviction for similar misconduct involving the same prosecutor and judge. Democratic Senators Richard Blumenthal and Sheldon Whitehouse called out the judicial nominees for failing to admit who won the 2020 presidential election. The Army has suspended four personnel in connection with an incident involving two Apache helicopters flying low over the Nashville home of Kid Rock. We'll also talk to the authors of a new report that outlines the impact of Trump's policies on Black women in business. Melissa is a case manager who works with people who have been in car accidents and a mom of two boys. She learned about fasting in August 2022 after her father recommended Fast Feast Repeat. In the episode, Melissa recounts her struggle with weight that began when she was in high school, detailing various diets she tried over the years, including calorie counting and keto among others, before discovering fasting. She describes how fasting provided a sustainable approach that didn't require extensive meal prep or special purchases, allowing her to lose weight steadily and improve her overall well-being. Melissa emphasizes the importance of immersing oneself in the fasting community and resources, which helped her stay motivated and informed. As time has gone on, Melissa has made significant changes in how she eats, prioritizing whole foods for her and her family. Her weight loss picked up significantly when she made the shift, and she is teaching her boys about choosing real foods. She also uses ADF as a tool for weight loss when needed.Melissa's parting advice to listeners is to "get plugged in" by engaging with books, podcasts, and the fasting community to continuously learn and adapt. She began her fasting journey in January 2022, inspired by a friend who practiced the 16:8 fasting method. Despite not experiencing rapid weight loss, with only a 21-pound loss over 18 months, Jayne emphasizes the non-scale victories she has achieved, such as improved energy levels, reduced need for thyroid medication, and better overall health. She discusses the challenges of menopause, and the importance of mindset in her journey.Throughout the conversation, Jayne highlights the significance of adapting fasting methods to individual needs, such as transitioning to alternate-day fasting (ADF). She shares her experiences with various diets and the realization that intermittent fasting offers a sustainable lifestyle rather than a quick fix. Jayne and Gin also discuss the impact of genetics on weight and health, and the importance of listening to one's body. Takeaways:• Intermittent fasting can lead to significant non-scale victories, such as improved energy and health, even if weight loss is slow.• Mindset and community support play crucial roles in maintaining a sustainable fasting lifestyle.• Genetics can influence weight and health, highlighting the importance of personalized approaches to fasting.• It's essential to eat enough during eating windows and choose nutritious foods to support fasting success. At the end of the episode, Jayne has three pieces of advice for anyone new to IF: 16:8 may not be enough for you to see weight loss, make sure you eat enough rather than accidentally over-restricting, and what you choose to eat to close your eating window can affect the next day's fast.Join Gin in the new Fast Feast Repeat app for The Grown-Up Year: 52 Weeks to Listen, Play, and Nourish, as well as a growing collection of intermittent fasting resources. She embarked on her intermittent fasting journey after being introduced to the concept by a friend in September 2020. Initially drawn to the health and wellness benefits, Lisa found that fasting helped her manage stress-related eating and maintain her weight more effectively. Although she didn't have a significant amount of weight to lose initially, intermittent fasting provided a structure that helped her navigate fluctuations due to stress and lifestyle changes. Over time, Lisa has experienced weight loss and weight maintenance, finding a balance that supports her health goals while allowing her to enjoy a flexible, plant-based diet.Takeaways:• Lisa started intermittent fasting after being introduced to it by a friend. She began with the "Intermittent Fasting Podcast" and found it aligned with her interest in health and wellness.• Lisa transitioned to a vegan diet before starting intermittent fasting. She experimented with her diet, including a period of increased protein intake, but ultimately returned to a plant-based diet, occasionally including eggs and some dairy.• Lisa emphasizes modeling positive behavior for her daughters, focusing on being a positive role model as a tall woman and encouraging them to make healthy food choices without emphasizing diet culture.• Lisa acknowledges being a stress eater and discusses how intermittent fasting helps her manage food intake during stressful times.• Lisa values the support and resources available through podcasts and communities, which help her stay informed and motivated on her health journey. At the end of the episode, Lisa encourages listeners to fast clean, and to keep track of their fasts/windows. She also emphasizes not to start ADF too soon and to listen to your body along the way.Join Gin in the new Fast Feast Repeat app for The Grown-Up Year: 52 Weeks to Listen, Play, and Nourish, as well as a growing collection of intermittent fasting resources.
