It's at times like this that we need art the most—not as some utilitarian salve for the pain we're feeling, but because art connects us to the most joyful, beautiful, and human aspects of being alive. In this special all-recommendations episode of Art for the End Times, Lyta and a raucous panel of guests share their top recommendations for art that will make you happy and remind you why life is worth living.Panelists include: Allegra Silcox, Adrian Rennix, Kate Gauthreaux, Stephen Frank, and Maximillian Alvarez.Read the transcript of this podcast: https://therealnews.com/everything-is-terrible-so-here-are-some-art-recommendations-that-will-make-you-happyPre-Production/Studio: Maximillian Alvarez, Stephen FrankPost-Production: Brent TomchikHelp us continue producing radically independent news and in-depth analysis by following us and becoming a monthly sustainer: Donate: https://therealnews.com/donate-podSign up for our newsletter: https://therealnews.com/newsletter-podLike us on Facebook: https://facebook.com/therealnewsFollow us on Twitter: https://twitter.com/therealnews

It's the best right? Promote affiliates and make money in your jammies! But how? Here are 5 ways (and some ways to enhance those 5 ways). And a warning… promoting affiliates is an art and a partnership. If you say yes to someone about promoting a program, it takes more than a “post.” Or an email. 00:00 Be honest about how many email subscribers you have. Know your open rate. Know that they love you and buy what you recommend. It helps if they ask you… what watch are you wearing? What kind of tights do you like? What shoes do you wear? What's that sauna you're using? (all questions my community wants to know). If you don't yet have that kind of influence, keep working on it. Begin by sharing those behind-the-scenes views of your home and your day. You'll begin to pique interest. Especially, if you realize they want to be like you. And listen, you are in fact the spokesperson for whatever you're doing. They want what you have. Maybe it's energy, maybe confidence. Maybe it's your physique. But people are drawn to you and follow because they often want to be you. How to Choose Your Affiliates 09:11 What are your customers always asking you about? 09:14 What are you using that you wish your clients would so they stop using toxic products that interfere with hormones? 09:23 What do you use and love so much you wish you could share this with everyone? 09:40 Review Your Day: Here's Mine Matcha (https://www.flippingfifty.com/piquetea) or coffee Four Sigmatic: https://www.flippingfifty.com/Four-Sigmatic Skincare:https://www.flippingfifty.com/SummerSkin Sports watch Workout wear: https://savvi.com/flipping50/shop (Use share25 to save fit pro!) Intermittent Fasting Stories with Gin Stephens In this episode of Intermittent Fasting Stories, Gin talks to Kelly Dean from Camas, WA. Kelly is a physical therapist, and has her own practice. Growing up, Kelly was a swimmer, and very lean. She continued to swim through college, but when she graduated, her swimming career came to an end. She got married, and experienced five miscarriages. Kelly found herself eating to cope with the sorrow. “It was emotional trauma, and I began to punish my body with food.” At this same time, Kelly was diagnosed with Diastasis Recti, which is a condition where the abdominal muscles separate. This diagnosis began a journey to heal her core, which also led Kelly to start her own practice, The Tummy Team. Kelly was passionate to help others with this same condition. When her practice shifted to being completely online and with the stressors of the pandemic, her weight steadily climbed, and eventually Kelly was at her highest weight of 212 pounds. Kelly knew it was time to do something about her weight. A friend shared intermittent fasting with her, and she quickly read Fast Feast Repeat. In the first 28 days, Kelly dropped 15 pounds, and knew IF would be something she'd do the rest of her life. “I enjoy the graciousness of this lifestyle,” Kelly exclaims. She has lost 50 pounds, and feels wonderful. The advice she'd give the new IFer: “It's okay to start with small steps. You don't have to be perfect. It's all a process.” Additional Resources: Get Gin's books including Cleanish and the New York Times Bestseller, Fast. Feast. Repeat., available wherever you buy books! If you're at a loss for what to do with a coffee table, layering these are a great option for styling. When styling a large bookcase, you cannot do it without books. You don't want everything sitting flat on a shelf and when you need to raise and lower certain pieces, books are the way to do it. Another tip is using wallpaper to cover books!
