We all possess a God given ability. Whether you can sing, dance, administration, teach, preach, understand law, write, etc. the Lord has given you something that can transform the world, giving glory unto Him. But, sadly many gifts go to grave of doubt and compromise, leaving unfulfilled the promise of the Lord. and some literally die with the person. Sometimes, in our Christian walk, we can forget that we serve the God that can do the miraculous! Too many of us are living a life that benefits the ones on the outside looking in. For all the wrong reasons. But, with the recent events surrounding Kanye West & Kyrie Irving, and their deliberate stance against those who want them to bend, should cause believers to look closely at our lives and recognize that we will have to, one day, stand and not fold against the persecution that will come because of our faith. Growing up in the hip-hop culture, there were plenty of trends and movements that, when you look back on them today, you scratch your heads and ask, "What was I thinking when i was rapping that!?" One of those trends that still ensnares us today is the Stop Snitching era. Coined by a rapper in the late 2000's, the movement made civilians who weren't apart of the street life, unwilling participants when illegal activities happened in our neighborhoods. Fast forward to today, and we still see the residue and damage that this sentiment created within predominantly melanin communities all across the U.S. Listen in as we give the Lord's response to this activity from His Word, and why we believe that through hip-hop music, we have cursed ourselves with the messages that blare from the speakers and headphones of people everywhere. Some of us have had to go through the dreaded Church hurt process. Some people have been so hurt and filled with pain from spiritual abuse, that they have chosen to seek other religions to trust in, and walk away from the Faith entirely. As we are moving closer towards the Day of the Lord, we are starting to see more and more people start to leave and latch onto strange doctrines. In this latest episode, we decided to continue a conversation that we had earlier that day centered around the Lord's name, Elohim. Elohim means "the strong and all powerful One". When The Lord created the heavens and the earth, He gave His creation the ability to reproduce itself. So His fruit is clearly seen in all of creation. Our Father is a creator, and His children possess some of the same abilities in Him. Hopefully this will push you to seek the Lord for your creative abilities and start to put them to use for His Glory!
