In this edition of Tiger Talk, host Tony Garcia is joined by a new guest. Dan Dickerson, the play-by-play voice of the Detroit Tigers Radio Network comes in to share his expertise. The two discuss the Detroit Tigers before they became a perennial powerhouse. In the early 2000's Dickerson was mentored by the great Ernie Harwell. Dickerson shares that life changing experience, what he learned during that time and how it was still enjoyable to announce for a team that  was not good.

The Detroit Tigers' season end came to an all too sudden end on Sunday when the Baltimore Orioles completed the 3-0 sweep in Comerica Park. Host Tony Garcia is joined as usual by co-host Richie Cozzolino as the two do their best to keep each other's spirits up. Garcia is beside himself about the many coaching blunders, while Cozzolino can't control himself while talking again about a bullpen implosion that cost the Tigers their season.

After an excruciatingly long, up and down, topsy-turvy, down right strange season, the guys are elated to have come out on top. The Detroit Tigers, much like predicted at the beginning of the season, are the AL Central Division Champs for the fourth consecutive year. However, this season was unlike any other.

With the Detroit Tigers back in first place, the guys are feeling better about where things stand as the final weeks of play wrap up. Host Tony Garcia is finally able to separate his head from heart as he acknowledges his realization that this Justin Verlander is just not the same guy.

September is now in full swing, and the Tigers' chances are still looking up in the division. Host Tony Garcia and co-host Richie Cozzolino are back to take a look at Detroit's chances. After a less than stellar series against the San Francisco Giants, the Tigers headed into their biggest series of the season against the Kansas City Royals.

Allyssa reflects on her time in high school and winning three Big Ten Championships with the Spartans. Ferrell also gives the inside scoop on her future path and what her plans are as far as going to qualifying school to make the LPGA Tour.

Luckily, Tiger Talk connoisseurs Tony Garcia and Richie Cozzolino have all the answers. The guys first discuss the previous series in Boston, praising rookie Nick Castellanos and his wonderful series versus a pesky Red Sox team. However, compliments about the bottom of the lineup end with the third basemen. With Cabrera's lingering hamstring issues and shortstop position problems, the bats were quiet for many games during Detroit's losing streak. Tony and Richie talk about whether Andrew Romine is truly the answer at short for the Tigers, or whether rookie Eugenio Suarez and his powerful bat can take over the position.

With two months in the books, the Detroit Tigers have already had as many ups and downs in that span of time as some teams do throughout the entire season. From being 12 games over .500 in the middle of May, to losing 14 of 18 to end the month and begin June, Detroit has been through it all. New host Tony Garcia is joined by Anthony Serafino, as the two break down their perspectives of the beginning of the 2014 season.

Classes have been out for a month, but Michigan State track and field is still hard at work. The team has been in Jacksonville, Fla. for the past week, preparing for the NCAA Eastern Regional meet that will take place this weekend. Skilled thrower Antonio James does not put it lightly when asked what it takes to do well in this meet.

Ever wonder how club sports at Michigan State operate? Assistant Director of MSU Recreational Sports Angela Michael stopped by Secret Society and gave the inside scoop. Host Bradley Allen inquires about the requirements and benefits of being an official club sport versus being just a registered student organization. Angela explained some of the history of all of MSU's recreational facilities, and also the transition from being on the swimming & diving team as a student to working as a lifeguard.

In news that shocked almost all American soccer fans, Landon Donovan was left off of the USA's roster for the upcoming World Cup. In this edition of Fino's Rant, host of The Pact, Anthony Serafino, weighs in on just what head coach Jürgen Klinsmann might have been thinking when leaving Donovan off the roster. Will the decision turn around to bite the US national team in the back?

Breaking golf clubs and quitting jobs were just two of many items of discussion on this week's Secret Society. Charlie Inman and Kyle Sawyer of Michigan State club golf joined host Bradley Allen to talk about building the club team from the ground up just two years ago. MSU men's club golf finished 10th at Nationals in New Jersey recently after winning Regionals.

While most MSU students are wrapping up their school year, some club sports are just getting started. This week's guests are all about swimming, biking and running. On the 12th installment of the Impact Sports Club Sports podcast, Secret Society host Bradley Allen met up with Josh Isaacson and Santiago Arrangoiz of Michigan State Triathlon.

This week on 19th Hole, hosts Aaron Whitlock and Tony Garcia bring in special guest Casey Lubahn, head coach of the men's golf team at Michigan State University. Lubahn came in to discuss the Spartans' recent ninth-place finish at the Boilermaker Invitational, as well as this weekend's Big Ten Championships in French Lick, Ind.

Host Bradley Allen sat down with the executive board of the Michigan State University Underwater Hockey Club and got a quick lesson on how the sport is played. Also discussed are the love connections made on the co-ed club team and some of their favorite extra-curricular activities.

Monday, April 21 will mark the first anniversary of the tragic events that plagued one of the oldest and most well-known running events in the world: the Boston Marathon. In episode seven of Last Leg, host Alexa McCarthy talks to Chris Ford, a Northville High School teacher and five-time participant in the marathon. He reflects on last year's events and the hours after the bombs went off as him and his wife searched for each other with little idea of what really happened at the finish line on Boylston Street.

On the second episode of Coxswain, host Nathaniel Gaynor fittingly recaps the MSU women's rowing double dual in Belleville, Mich. Men's crew club picked up a race on April 5 at the Cincinnati Regatta after their home race, the Lansing State Cup, was cancelled. They finally begin their originally scheduled season in Spring Lake, Mich. and Nathaniel has the recap of the event.

Michigan State Pompon assistant coach Alex Brekke and executive board member Melissa Novak chatted with Bradley Allen on episode nine of Secret Society. They discussed their love for the sport of pompon, what to look forward to next season, and some of their favorite memories.

Lax Attack host Tyler Beck and fellow lacrosse beat reporter Justin Sienkowski have MSU men's lacrosse captains Mike Klaus (left) and Matt Allemang (right) in studio. The guys discuss the upcoming game against rival Davenport University, how the season has gone so far, and the team's 5K run that will benefit the Wounded Warriors Project.

Did you think after three years of failing relief pitching that the Tigers would still have this issue? These guys certainly did not. Van Ermen and O'Brien share how they got their start in dodgeball and preview the upcoming NCDA Championships this weekend. Also discussed is the dodgeball world's love-hate relationship with the 2004 blockbuster movie, Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story, and of course some of Mike, Colin and Bradley's favorite MSU moments.

School is starting to wind its way down, but the outdoor MSU track and field season is just revving up. In episode six of Last Leg, Alexa is joined by Coxswain host Nathaniel Gaynor in studio as mid-distance freshman runner Aubrey Wilberding and distance coach Lisa Senakiewich stop by to talk about the season.

In the first episode of Lax Attack, host Tyler is joined by MSU lacrosse team president and senior captain Charley Dever as they discuss the Spartans' last game against Western Michigan, team philanthropy and Michigan State's upcoming schedule.

The ice is finally melting and the women's rowing season has begun. In the first episode of Coxswain, host Nathaniel Gaynor recaps MSU's weekend races against Rutgers, Boston University, Brown and Princeton and later talks with MSU women's rowing coach Matt Weise about breaking ice off of the river, coaching against former Spartans and past issues with team culture.

Spring has sprung and that means it is finally outdoor season for MSU track and field. In this episode of Last Leg, Alexa talks about the team's first outdoor meet and then talks to assistant coach Randy Gillon about the team's expectations and their upcoming home meet. Alexa also talks to senior runner Sara Kroll about what it is like to travel so much throughout the year and their anticipations for this weekend.

No intro? No in-studio guests? No problem. Secret Society is changing things up this week! Host Bradley Allen experiments with a new format for lucky number seven, a Quidditch World Cup preview.

Nothing came easy for MSU Friday night as they upset No. 1 University of Virginia, 61-59, in one of the Spartans' hardest fought victories of the year. Tom Izzo's team lost the turnover and rebounding battles, but managed to pull out a win thanks in large part to Branden Dawson who recorded a double-double with 24 points and 10 rebounds.
