In this edition of Tiger Talk, host Tony Garcia is joined by a new guest. Dan Dickerson, the play-by-play voice of the Detroit Tigers Radio Network comes in to share his expertise. The two discuss the Detroit Tigers before they became a perennial powerhouse. In the early 2000's Dickerson was mentored by the great Ernie Harwell. Dickerson shares that life changing experience, what he learned during that time and how it was still enjoyable to announce for a team that was not good.
The Detroit Tigers' season end came to an all too sudden end on Sunday when the Baltimore Orioles completed the 3-0 sweep in Comerica Park. Host Tony Garcia is joined as usual by co-host Richie Cozzolino as the two do their best to keep each other's spirits up. Garcia is beside himself about the many coaching blunders, while Cozzolino can't control himself while talking again about a bullpen implosion that cost the Tigers their season.

Nothing came easy for MSU Friday night as they upset No. 1 University of Virginia, 61-59, in one of the Spartans' hardest fought victories of the year. Tom Izzo's team lost the turnover and rebounding battles, but managed to pull out a win thanks in large part to Branden Dawson who recorded a double-double with 24 points and 10 rebounds.
