This podcast series shares my exploration into the world of minimalism. I talk to people who have more knowledge than me in particular topics and expand my horizon. I am not a minimalist, rather, I aspire to be a minimalist, and this series, shares that exploration. The topics I will focus on are minimalism, intentional living, sustainable living, but later also go into topics like grief, and anger.
I highly encourage you to listen to this episode. Thank you so much, Rojisha ji for joining me to do this episode on the stigma attached to mental health and therapy in Nepal. In this episode we cover a lot of topics from the perspective of someone who visited a therapist and someone who is a therapist. We talk about the things a therapist does and does not do, and we talk about the benefits of seeing someone to get some help. I hope you enjoy this episode. #NepaliPodcast #Nepalipodcaster #minimalism #Sustainablelifestyle #minimalistic #minimalism #intentionalliving #nepalipodcaster #lessormore #podcast #SandeepPoudyal
So so so sorry for the focus problems. This was such an amazing episode, but I'm so sorry for the poor video quality. I was trying a few new angles and techniques, and it just didn't work. But do take some time to listen to this episode. It was an absolute pleasure talking to Sambridh. We went to the same school, and had a lot of similarities in our journey. Our fathers were also business partners. It was really interesting discussing how our experiences were when first joining the family business. The struggle of your father being your boss is not an easy one. it's a really fun episode. Hope you enjoy it. Is there freedom of speech in Nepal? Is there freedom of expression in Nepal? Do the citizens have any rights or should we be scared of the State, scared of the police? Will I get arrested for a joke? Pranksters getting arrested, getting arrested for a review of a movie, rap songs being forced to take down, and mainly, any words or phrases "against the state". There are so many cases like these occurring in Nepal. Are we considered traitors simply for saying something about or against the President/Prime Minister? Is the state so sensitive that they cannot handle criticisms? Should we be living under fear? In this episode, I discuss all these things and many more with Random Nepali, Rastra dai. Thank you so much Dai for joining me and sharing your insight with me. I hope you listen to this episode and gain some insight. If you don't agree with us, please comment below. Hello Everyone, I studied in the US for 4 years, came back to Nepal almost immediately, then went to London for grad school and again, returned almost immediately. Not just me, every year, thousands and thousands for Nepali students choose to study abroad, and thousands of Nepali men and women go abroad to work. However, a very small percentage of those boys, girls, men, and women return back. Why might they choose to stay or why do they choose to return? There are two ways of viewing this: When someone stays abroad, we can ask one of two questions, 1. Why are they choosing to stay abroad? 2. Why aren't they returning back to their country? On the surface, these sound like the same question, but if you peel the layers, they are two very different question. In this episode, Asmod and I discuss our different reasons for coming back and how maybe, just maybe, Nepal isn't for everyone. Welcome to yet another episode. This is one of the topics I have wanted to talk about for a long time. Why did I come back to Nepal? I hope you listen to this episode and gain some insight. Hello Everyone, As you might already know, there has been a boom in podcasts in Nepal recently. Some are good, some need work. Some are about a topic, some are about any topic. Some are consistent, some are not. Some are........... But what are podcasts? What is a podcast? What essence is necessary for it to be a podcast? Is an interview a podcast? If yes, then news channels doing interviews are also doing podcasts right? I don't know. Which is why I wanted to do an episode with a popular podcaster I respect highly, Anup Ghimire from The Doers Podcast. we talk about our differing views on what a podcast really is and what it really needs (not that I am an expert in this in any way). Maybe a podcast is just guff, or maybe it is a little bit more. We try to scratch the surface to find the essence. I hope you listen to this episode and gain some insight. Why are we so obsessed with being busy? Why do we want others to know or to think that we are extremely busy people? There are two things at play here: Really being extremely busy, and pretending to be busy. Both are problematic. In this short podcast, I will share why I don't think it is good to be busy all the time. Take a listen, maybe you will be able to reflect on your own life and hopefully take more control of your life. Hello Everyone, I am back with another podcast. Sorry for the long gap. The beginning of this episode explains the gap. Might sound like excuses to some but it is what it is. Most of this episode talks about minimalism and weddings. I recently got married and noticed that all the rituals in a Nepali wedding generally has so much meaning and symbolism. But it also includes a lot of stuff; material stuff. In this episode I talk about the stuff included in a wedding and how I wanted to but in many instances could not apply minimalism in that aspect. I hope watch this episode and I hope you subscribe and share it with your friends. Now that I am doing solo episodes, I aim to not keep long gaps. I hope to keep that promise. As I have learned, the key is consistency. #lessormore #podcast #Nepalipodcast #money #moneymanagement #minimalistic #minimalism #intentionalliving #Sustainablelifestyle #nepalipodcaster #minimalweddings

Welcome to another video of the podcast series. This is a big one. This episode is about grief. It is about death and loss and bereavement. We talk about the loss we experienced of our loved ones, and share how we grieved. There is no one right way of grieving. And loss doesn't have to only mean loss to death. Loss of a job, or loss of friends, of a job, of a partner, we can grieve for all these kinds of losses. Thank you, Nawang for sharing your personal stories and opening up with us. I really really appreciate it. I hope you enjoy this episode and find some value in this conversation.

In this episode my cousin, Rohit Poudel and I analyse minimalism. We talk about whether minimalism has become a fad and we also talk about how to justify if something adds value to your life or not. He basically questions some aspects of minimalism, and I, as an aspiring minimalist, attempt to answer it, maybe not completely successfully.

In this episode we discuss Decluttering and the different ways we went about decluttering. However, this episode took a slightly different turn and I can honestly say it was for the better. Shilshila ji brought a different perspective to the topic of minimalism which I had not paid a lot of attention to before, sustainability. I learned a lot from this episode and it did indeed broaden my horizon. This podcast is a way for me to learn more and grow as an aspiring minimalist, and I am definitely learning a lot
