North Harvest Community Church
Seedtime and harvest time will never end as long as the earth remains. Seed is the second gift God gave to man. Seed always forces the ground into production and was meant to work in a believer’s favor.
God always leads us in triumph. There is no temptation or struggle we face where He doesn’t provide a way to victory. We must spend time in His Word, listening for His direction and do what He tells us to do. He will always lead us to victory!
God places His faith in us when we are born again. We are to hold onto our confidence until we see the promise of God manifest in our lives.
We have been delivered from the world. God’s Word tells us not to love the world, but, rather be devoted to Him. He has also delivered us from the curse. So, if week seek him first He will add all things to us.
While we are holding fast to the promises of God we are instructed by Jesus to keep our servant, faith, working for us until the job is done.
The term, hold fast, is used in the New Testament 14 times. A believer cannot mature in the things of God beyond his or her willingness to hold fast to their confession. We must not allow ourselves to become discouraged to the point that we give up on the promises of God and start saying what the enemy says about our circumstances. God’s Word always prevails. We have to stay in it.
I don’t like the word, formula, but there is a process by which we grow in the things of God. God intends for all things to grow, including you. These are some things we engage in to partner with Him in our spiritual growth.
God has settled you. Do what He has called you to do with all your heart. Don’t be encumbered by wondering when He will do something great in your life. He has already done something great through the finished work of Jesus. Walk in the greatness of that finished work today and you will experience His goodness in every part of your life.
God has strengthened us. How did He impart His strength to me? Through Words. His Words. In Joel 3:10 He says, "Let the weak say, 'I am strong.'"
God has established you, already, in the finished work of Jesus. We are not trying to become better people. We are welcoming and partnering with Him in seeing His finished work revealed in and through us.
The Bible says we are complete in Jesus. Not only that, but He is perfecting that which concerns us. We have to renew our minds to the truth that all we need in this life has already been given to us through the finished work of Jesus.
Light doesn’t retreat from darkness. Darkness retreats from light. Light transforms darkness into light. This is our house. God made this world for His children. We are here to dominate the works of darkness through walking in Love and through the confession of His Word.
God does not want you to have an awareness of what’s wrong with you. God wants you to have an awareness of what’s right about you.
God always intends for us to win when we come up against difficult challenges. Keeping a good attitude with an expectation of victory puts off a fragrance when we are around others who need hope. Keep yourself encouraged in the Lord, so that, regardless of what challenge you are facing, you remain a blessing to those around you, willing and able to be used by Him.
Why is it so important for a believer to walk in their God-given authority? Because if they don’t, then they are a victim. God has put life and death before us. He instructs us to choose life. It is our choice so that He can reward us and so that we can freely choose Him.
God has already given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness. Jesus restored to us the ability to use our God-given authority to walk in fullness in every area of life. He has authorized us, therefore it is our responsibility to conduct our lives in step with kingdom principles which bring His fullness of blessing.
We are to expose ourselves to the Word continually so that it might change not only our words but also the way we live and the choices we make.
Recognizing the flow of Kingdom authority is detrimental in the life of a believer. There is nothing that has not been placed under the authority of Jesus. As joint-heirs with Him we have the responsibility to use that authority to appropriate victory in our lives.
The resurrection is the miracle which is the source of all miracles. When Jesus died and rose again He gave us access to all of the promises and goodness of God. Through His finished work we connect to eternal life, righteousness, victory, healing and forgiveness. The list goes on and on. It is Jesus’ victory alone that gives us victory!
An atmosphere of intense expectation makes it easy for people to believe. When we get together our expectancy is that we will experience Jesus Christ and all of His goodness. Negativism is more than a bad habit. It is a way of life that robs people of living in constant expectation of good. As we release the need to control people and our surroundings, it becomes easier to realize our connection with God and His resources.
When we encounter Jesus He always gives us a way for positive change, healing, restoration, peace, promotion, etc... We have a responsibility to open our hearts and minds to be changed by the Word of God. He does the work as we remain open.
The results Jesus walked in were simply a byproduct of His 24-hour-a-day fellowship with the Holy Spirit. This fellowship kept Him in the right mindset to do what the Father was doing and say what the Father was saying. We have the same opportunity for intimacy with the Holy Spirit that Jesus had. He wants a constant fellowship and relationship with us throughout the day.
The Lord may lead us to do some unusual things in the expression of our faith. He often leads us in very practical steps forward into Our receiving of His promises. It is important for us to not allow anything to get in the way of our time with Him in His Word.
The answer is, “Yes!” When we ask something of the Lord, based on the promises in His Word, He answers, “Yes!” Religion has taught people otherwise. Our part in the process of receiving is to abide in His Word. Many people don’t receive because they won’t prioritize hearing and doing His Word everyday in their lives.
Shame keeps you in your past. Shame is a painful emotion caused by a consciousness of guilt or some kind of shortcoming. God wants you free of it. Jesus despised the shame of the cross because of the joy set before Him. That joy was you!
Sometimes we get too idealistic in our approach to God. He is faithful to accomplish His Word in our lives, however, the answers may not always come exactly the way that we are expecting. Mary was highly favored by the Lord. That is also true of every believer. We can expect God to move in our lives when we place a demand on the favor He has given to us.
When you don’t believe you are loved you can’t experience the full benefits of Love. God wants you to know you are loved. He is committed to your freedom of choice so that He can reward you for choosing Him and His ways.
We are to really experience the truths contained in scripture in our lives, not just obtain "head knowledge" of it. The bible teaches we were crucified with Christ, buried and raised with Him.
When we are in need of wisdom all we have to do is ask God for it. He will begin by giving us opportunities to have relationships with Godly people. Sometimes we need to avoid unwise relationships and seek out new relationships that will influence us toward the way of wisdom.
When Joshua was commissioned to lead the Israelites into their promised land he was commanded to speak the Word and meditate in it "day and night." This would make him successful. We need to follow his example.
Stand on these powerful promises in God's Word. Persevere in them and see them come to pass in your life!
Stand on these powerful promises in God's Word. Persevere in them and see them come to pass in your life!
Many Christians with that God would give them more power. However, when a believer has been baptized in the Holy Spirit, God has clothed him or her with His very self. The source of the believer's power is the covenant he/she has with God through the finished work of Jesus. The way to access and release the power of the covenant is through words.
God created us in His image and gave us authority to order our circumstances by speaking His Word, in faith. We rely on God to direct us in what we say, then say it. Then, we stand in faith until we see His promise come to pass in our lives by His grace. This is the Jesus way of bringing change.
In Job 22:28 the Word tells us to decide and decree a thing and it shall be established for us. We are to decree the things the Holy Spirit is directing us into as our present realities in our lives. This directs our steps into our destiny and God's promises for our future.
In Job 22:28 the Word tells us to decide and decree a thing and it shall be established for us. We are to decree the things the Holy Spirit is directing us into as our present realities in our lives. This directs our steps into our destiny and God's promises for our future.
God's Word combined with our faith changes things. His Word does not return void. It accomplishes in our lives exactly what He sent it out to accomplish if we receive His Word in faith and stand on it.
God has high places for each of us to walk on. The path to those place is love, faith and grace. We must depend upon His strength.
Physical healing is part of the finished, atoning work of Jesus. It is available to every believer in the body of Christ. We connect to it by faith in the finished work of Jesus.
As believers who have made Jesus Christ our Lord we have a responsibility, and privilege, to do the things He did and do them the way He did them. He instructed Jairus to "Fear Not! Believe only!"
Praising and worshiping God strikes fear in the heart of the enemy. Singing songs to the Lord is needed for the meat of the Word to be assimilated into our character and conduct.
We were not intended to live our lives worrying about what people think of us. We are to please God, not men. Jesus warns us about hypocrisy in our hearts. Learn to fear (reverence) God rather than men.
Perfect love drives out fear. The enemy wants to control us by keeping us in fear. We have authority to control him through prayer.
There are many ways husbands and wives open doors to the enemy. We have to be sure we are consistently walking in love with each other using biblical principles to close those doors and protect our families.
Philippians chapter 2 talks about God making us willing to do His good pleasure. It is our responsibility to surrender to Him and ask Him to help us to be willing to obey Him in areas of our lives where we are struggling.
The enemy hates you and he is after you. Jesus has defeated him and we are to appropriate that victory. It is important that we don't leave doors open to him. When we tithe, God rebukes the devourer for us.
When going through a trial it is important that we remain unmoved in our character, staying in the same state of joy and peace as we stand in faith for victory. Too often we get into anxieties and cares which cause the Word to be unfruitful in our lives.
The message Jesus preached was an announcement of the kingdom of God being presently available to us. That is the "good news" and "The Blessing. "
We are God's agents of change. He places us in the environment we are in and with the people we are with in order to bring His Blessing on them. Our prayers, combined with faith, accomplish this change.
The Bible is very clear. God want you to increase in all good things, including money. He has blessed us to be a blessing to the world.
Jesus modeled a lifestyle of prayer for our benefit. It is our privilege to inquire of the Lord, as He did, for direction and breakthrough. Not only that, but God has given us authority over our own lives to pray His will into our environment to affect change in the lives of the people around us.
