It's been the highest of highs and lowest of lows with the Minnesota Twins this past week - the Twins are now headed to San Diego after sweeping a really good Atlanta team - how far could this success stretch? We ask Henry about that, what is the Lynx ceiling as they had a scary Olivia Miles injury and could she be the MVP AND the Rookie of the Year - that and some Vikings preseason discussion as well!

The Big 10 and the SEC are dominating everything this preseason. The most teams in the Top 25 and the most players in the Preseason AP All-America team. Matt has thoughts on it. Plus, the Bill are the Circa Sports Team of the Day
The Saints have released their first depth chart of training camp, giving us plenty to discuss. Mario Jerez and Erin Summers break down the biggest takeaways, including Alvin Kamara and Travis Etienne being listed as “OR” at running back, Chase Young appearing with an “OR,” Vernon Broughton listed as a starter, and why you probably shouldn't put too much stock into the wide receiver order just yet. While the depth chart is out, the biggest story at camp continues to be the disparity between the Saints' offense and defense. The defense has consistently made plays while the offense has struggled to find its rhythm, particularly when it comes to the timing between Tyler Shough and his receivers. Mario and Erin discuss whether that should be a concern heading into the preseason opener, while also highlighting some of the offensive players who have stood out. On the defensive side, Martin Emerson Jr. continues to make an impression. Emerson had a huge day in padded practice Tuesday, recording two pass breakups and an interception to end a two-minute drill. Mario takes a closer look at Emerson's track record with the Cleveland Browns, where he started 33 games from 2022–2024 and became a key part of one of the NFL's best defenses. Then it's time to look ahead to Week 1. The Saints are currently +6.5 underdogs against the Detroit Lions, with a +265 moneyline, and Mario and Erin discuss whether that line is giving Detroit too much respect — especially with the Lions dealing with several significant injuries. Cade Mays is expected to miss 8–10 weeks, while backup center Juice Scruggs is also dealing with an injury. The guys discuss how important Mays' absence could be for Detroit, along with the status of Kerby Joseph and Brian Branch. Plus, quick injury updates around the Saints, including Cam Jordan's hamstring, Demario Davis and Jeremiah Wright returning to practice, and other players dealing with injuries. Finally, Mario and Erin look ahead to Thursday's joint practice with the Jacksonville Jaguars and Saturday's first preseason game. Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. Anika sat down with Amir Berenjian to explore how a former investment banker transitioned from multi-million dollar M&A spreadsheets to founding an immersive technology company. The conversation revealed a profound truth: the most powerful way to sell a brand or cause isn't through data alone, but through deeply emotional, shared experiences. Amir shares how REM5 Studios leverages virtual reality (VR) to transport trade show attendees to a Wisconsin dairy farm and global policymakers to the frontlines of polio eradication in Zambia, proving that immersive tech is far more than just a novelty. In This Episode How 12 years in M&A investment banking prepared Amir for immersive storytelling The pivotal moment of trying the Oculus Rift in 2016 and seeing the future of human-computer interaction Using pizza and beer to overcome VR skepticism in the corporate world Why the ROI of immersive tech at trade shows vastly outperforms traditional marketing trinkets Transporting global policymakers to Zambia to fight polio via VR with the Gates Foundation How a premium cheese brand uses VR to tell the story of a 100-year-old family farm The surprising dual-use of VR for both external marketing and internal employee onboarding How to test out immersive tech for your brand without breaking the budget Timestamps 00:00 Introduction: From investment banking to immersive tech 02:09 The surprising emotional throughline between M&A banking and VR storytelling 04:38 The Oculus Rift "Aha!" moment and democratizing the "magic school bus" experience 07:35 Overcoming the VR accessibility barrier and corporate skepticism 11:13 Transitioning from corporate events to purpose-driven storytelling and global causes 13:33 The economics of immersive tech and why it's cheaper than you think 15:08 Dominating trade shows: Why shared VR experiences beat traditional marketing flyers 17:29 Case Study 1: Transporting customers to a 3rd-generation Wisconsin dairy farm 19:38 Case Study 2: Putting policymakers on the frontlines of polio with the Gates Foundation 20:23 How immersive 3D video actually works (and the nostalgia of the View-Master) 25:13 The 9-month planning process and why distribution is the biggest hurdle in VR 29:39 The intersection of AI, implicit bias, and leveraging technology for good 31:47 Measuring the impact and ROI of immersive storytelling 34:33 How small businesses can test the waters of VR for under $500 38:33 The dual value of VR: Using marketing tools for internal employee onboarding 41:42 What's next for REM5 Studios and the convergence of AI and spatial computing Key Insights & Takeaways Insight 1: M&A and VR are Both About Selling Emotion Even in investment banking, multi-million dollar deals are driven by the emotional story of a business. Amir realized VR is simply the ultimate tool for democratizing that story, allowing clients to "tour the factory" and meet the founders without ever leaving the boardroom. Insight 2: Immersive Tech Solves the Trade Show ROI Problem Trade shows are filled with expensive, easily discarded trinkets and flyers. Immersive tech completely steals the show by giving attendees a shared, memorable experience that re-energizes them. Because the experience can be reused across dozens of events, it proves to be far more cost-effective and impactful than traditional trade show marketing waste. Insight 3: The Technology is the Conduit, Not the Message People easily get caught up in buzzwords like AR, VR, and spatial computing. But the goal isn't to talk about the tech—it's to use the tech to tell a story so effectively that users forget they're wearing a headset. Whether it's understanding the reality of polio eradication or the care behind a premium cheese, the tech is just a vehicle for presence and empathy. Insight 4: Marketing Assets Make Perfect Internal Training Tools An immersive experience originally designed to sell a product to consumers can instantly be repurposed as an onboarding tool for HR and accounting teams. Giving new or remote employees a virtual factory tour accelerates learning, reduces training costs, and emotionally connects desk workers to the company's physical roots. Insight 5: You Can Test VR for Your Business on a Budget You don't need a massive corporate budget to start experimenting with immersive storytelling. With a $400 Meta Quest headset or a free 30-minute demo at an Apple Store, business owners can experience existing VR content, identify use cases, and understand the medium before ever committing to a custom build. Resources & Links Mentioned REM5 Studios Polio's Last Mile (VR Experience available on Meta Quest & Apple Vision Pro) Meta Quest 3 / Apple Vision Pro About Amir Berenjian Amir Berenjian is the co-founder and CEO of REM5 Studios, an immersive technology company based in Minneapolis that builds virtual and augmented reality experiences for brands and causes. Before transitioning to spatial computing, Amir spent 12 years in investment banking, facilitating over 100 M&A transactions for companies ranging from $10 million to over $1 billion in revenue. Today, he helps organizations like the Gates Foundation, Rotary International, and Fortune 500 companies leverage the power of VR to foster profound empathy, connection, and real-world impact. Alex Dunlap is joined by Theo Gremminger of Rotowire to discuss all the latest fantasy football news from training camps as well as optimal 2026 roster-construction strategy in season-long leagues. THE ROSTERWATCH ULTIMATE DRAFT CHEAT SHEET IS LIVE FOR 2026 SEASON-LONG LEAGUES. Get it now: https://rosterwatch.com/buy-rosterwatch-pro The sheet that changed how fantasy players draft is back and rebuilt for this year. No outdated magazines. No expensive draft software you can't navigate with the clock running. Three simple rules, one sheet, an expert-quality draft guaranteed, in full PPR, standard and half-PPR, and Superflex. But here's what most sites can't offer: with a RosterWatch membership, you can ask us your actual roster questions and get specific answers back. Not a generic ranking. Your team, your matchup, your call. Alex, Cody, Trashman, and our contributors answer sit/start, waiver, and trade questions directly in Pro and Premium member posts, the same analysis you hear on the show, applied to the exact decision in front of you. Because winning your draft only wins you one Sunday. Winning your league takes seventeen weeks of decisions, and that's what membership is built for. When you're setting a lineup Sunday morning, make sure to head the members-only sit/start thread to get your toughest questions answered by Alex, Cody and Trashman. Want to do your own research? The proprietary Matchup Tool and Vegas Trends show you which players the game script actually favors, so your start/sit calls are reads instead of coin flips. The weekly position rankings and cross-positional Flex rankings settle the decisions that keep you up Saturday night, the ones where you've got three guys for two spots and no clear answer. The weekly Waiver Wire Cheat Sheets tell you exactly who to claim before the rest of your league wakes up. Play DFS or the Pick'Em lobbies too? Membership includes weekly DraftKings and FanDuel cheat sheets, the HyperDFS professional lineup generator, betting tools that show public bet percentage versus actual money by sportsbook so you can see where the sharp side is, and a weekly Pick'Em and player prop sheet with our favorite plays for PrizePicks and UnderDog. This episode gives you a taste of how we think. Membership gives you the system to act on it, and the direct line to ask us when the week is on the line. Get the sheet. A Fan-Favorite Rebroadcast: This episode is a rebroadcast of one of our fan-favorite conversations — originally released as Episode 661. We're bringing it back because the strategies Alex Piech shares are just as relevant today as they were then. In this episode, John Kitchens sits down with Alex Piech, a top-producing agent with EXP Realty in the highly competitive Dallas-Fort Worth market, for a wide-ranging conversation on what it actually takes to build consistent, predictable business in real estate right now. Alex breaks down his four core lead sources, why "the best marketer wins, not the best real estate agent," and the two metrics every agent should be tracking to turn their year around. Key Topics Covered: Mindset & Consistency — Why real estate rewards delayed gratification, and how to stay the course through 100 conversations before judging a lead source. - What's Working Now — Alex's top four lead sources: YouTube content, geographic farming, expireds, and Google PPC — and why doubling down beats chasing shiny objects. - Dominating a Geographic Farm — The multi-touch system behind Alex's neighborhood dominance: email opt-ins, quarterly market updates, postcards, and genuine community presence. - The Fake Agent Study — A real marketing experiment where a fictitious agent captured 82% top-of-mind market share in a neighborhood using nothing but consistent postcards. - Adapting to the Market — Why agents pricing off old comps are getting burned by rate swings, and how the agents thriving right now are the ones who've adjusted their approach. - The Two Metrics That Matter — Why conversations and appointments are the only numbers that really move the needle, and how to reverse-engineer your year from them. - Targeting Motivated Sellers — How to work expireds, relocation buyers, and absentee owners using the Frank Kern hook formula and a "have to move" mindset. - Creative Open House Strategy — The $700 taco truck play that turns one listing into a neighborhood-wide buzz event. We open with a full recap of WTCS Quiberon, where Cassandre Beaugrand was in superb form, putting the race to bed as soon as she kicked to beat Tilda Mansson. In the men's race, Dorian Coninx outsprinted Vasco Vilaca in a thriller reminiscent of his 2023 title run, while Alex Yee was forced to DNF. We also break down the Mixed Team Relay, where France completed a clean sweep of the weekend, winning comfortably even without Beaugrand in the lineup. After the break, we cover Ironman 70.3 Elsinore, where Marten Van Riel made it six wins from six in 70.3 racing this year, setting a new course record alongside Kat Matthews, who ran away from the women's field for victory. Both results lock in important qualification slots heading toward the 70.3 World Championships. We close with previews of two of the biggest races coming up: Ironman 70.3 Nice, where the final women's slot for the 70.3 World Championships will be decided, and Ironman Frankfurt, where Casper Stornes, Gustav Iden, and a long-awaited season debut from Magnus Ditlev headline the men's European Championship field. Gabriel Bonfim picked up the biggest win of his career, and made it look easy. As important as that was for the Brazilian fighter, the conversations and post-fight storylines are more about Belal Muhammad's downfall since winning the welterweight title, his three-fight losing skid, and where the former champ goes from another defeat inside the octagon. Following UFC Vegas 118, MMA Fighting's Mike Heck and Jed Meshew react to Bonfim's victory and his post-fight callout, Muhammad's third straight loss, and if he should be concerned about his roster spot being in jeopardy. Additionally, they discuss Brendan Allen's Fight of the Night win over Edmen Shahbazyan, if the MVP of the card was Iwo Baraniewski or Bryce Mitchell, the road to UFC White House and potential concerns, and much more.
