What the U.S. Attorney is saying •The U.S. Attorney's Office for D.C. has stated they contacted the Fed “on multiple occasions” about cost overruns and Powell's congressional testimony, were ignored, and therefore resorted to formal legal process, which they stress “is not a threat.” •Jeanine Pirro has been explicit that “the word ‘indictment' has come out of Mr. Powell's mouth, no one else's,” and that “none of this would have happened if they had just responded to our outreach.” “Above the law” behaviour. •Powell now publicly insists “no one is above the law,” even as the record shows the Fed disregarded informal outreach and only engaged once grand jury subpoenas landed, which is the opposite of transparent cooperation. Recall Choke Point 2.0 and the unbanking of individuals. •By recasting a straightforward question of cost overruns and possible misstatements to Congress as an illegitimate “criminal indictment threat,” Powell is effectively demanding a special zone of immunity wrapped in the rhetoric of independence. Merry Christmas! Join us with Pastor Chad Benson in our series titled "Fear Not" as he dives into The Fear of God's Calling..

In this message, Pastor Omar Ellison concludes a ten-week journey through the "Fear Not" series, offering a deep dive into how believers can resist the spirit of fear. He defines fear as an uneasy feeling or dread of "future evil" that may never happen, noting that anxiety is simply worry about a future that God has already secured. Using the story of Peter walking on water, Pastor Omar illustrates that fear's primary goal is to hijack your focus. When we look at the "boisterous winds" of our circumstances—finances, health, or relationships—we begin to sink. However, when we attend to the Word of God, we align our faith with His power. The teaching emphasizes that we must be proactive in building our faith during the "sunny days" so that we are prepared when the storms of life inevitably come. By setting our affections on things above and "considering Him" (Jesus) who endured the ultimate suffering, our earthly trials begin to lose their power over us. Key Points of the Teaching: -- Fear is a spirit, not just a feeling, and it does not come from God. According to 2 Timothy 1:7, God has given us power, love, and a sound mind instead. -- Anxiety is the fear of the future. We can overcome it by realizing that God has already gone before us and our future in Him is bright. -- Trust is a choice. When fear presents itself, we have the opportunity to either walk with that fear or make a conscious decision to trust in the Lord. -- Fear is after your focus. Just as Peter sank when he looked at the wind, we "sink" when we focus on our problems rather than on Jesus. -- Your "spiritual thermostat" must be set. We are called to set our affections on things above. When the "temperature" of our life drops due to trial, we must kick on our praise to bring our focus back to God. -- Consideration of Christ eliminates excuses. When we compare our trials to the suffering of Jesus, our problems lose their weight, allowing us to let go of bitterness and fear. Send me a Text Message!"Do not be afraid." That's the challenge giving to the church at Smyrna, and it was also a pretty common greeting that first Christmas. In Luke 1 – It was the angels greeting first to Zechariah in the temple and then to Mary when the angel brought this message of a baby and a virgin birth. "Don't be afraid." In Joseph's dream in Matthew 1, Joseph was told, “Don't be afraid to take Mary as your wife.” In Luke 2, the shepherds were terrified and the angel said, “Don't be afraid.” In fact, the most common command in the Bible is not "Don't Lie or Steal, Covet or Kill."  It isn't "Love One Another" that might be the most important but not the most common. The most common command in the Bible is Fear NOT!   Lloyd Ogilvie notes that there are 366 fear not verses in the Bible.This episode and the next, we'll talk a bit about fear and I'll hopefully encourage you with the hopeful words, "Don't be afraid!"

It's with great sadness that we mourn for the loss of a spiritual giant, Charlie Kirk-a man who lived his faith boldly. This is not a battle of the flesh but a spiritual battle. Let's be in prayer for Charlie Kirk's family and for the United States. And remember, FEAR NOT-this is a not a battle of flesh and blood...but a spiritual battle. I attached a brief video with my thoughts. But keep two things in mind: First, this is a spiritual battle.
