WE'RE BACK, BABY!! This week Lia and Claire review.... THE LIVE ACTION DEATH NOTE!!! Death Note (2017) "A high school student discovers a supernatural notebook that has deadly powers. He can kill anyone he wishes simply by inscribing their name within its pages. Intoxicated with his new power, he begins to eliminate those he deems unworthy of life."

This week Lia and Claire review... FLOWERS IN THE ATTIC (1987) Flowers in the Attic "There are secrets Chris (Jeb Stuart Adams) and Cathy (Kristy Swanson) never knew about their parents. After their father dies, the teenage siblings, along with their younger brother and sister, are sent to live with their cruel grandmother, Olivia (Louise Fletcher). Olivia is disgusted by the children -- she knows their mother (Victoria Tennant) and father were actually cousins -- and locks the brood in the attic. The kids then try to keep their spirits high in spite of their bleak situation."

This week Lia and Claire review... KILLER KLOWNS FROM OUTER SPACE!!! Killer Klowns from Outer Space "When teenagers Mike (Grant Cramer) and Debbie (Suzanne Snyder) see a comet crash outside their sleepy small town, they investigate and discover a pack of murderous aliens who look very much like circus clowns. They try to warn the local authorities, but everyone assumes their story is a prank. Meanwhile, the clowns set about harvesting and eating as many people as they can. It's not until they kidnap Debbie that Mike decides it's up to him to stop the clowns' bloody rampage."

Hit and Run "Charlie Bronson (Dax Shepard), a nice guy with a shady past as a getaway driver, breaks out of the witness protection program in a backwater California town to drive his girlfriend, Annie (Kristen Bell), to Los Angeles for an important job interview. The pair's road trip takes an awkward and dangerous turn when they find that an inept federal agent (Tom Arnold) and the mobster (Bradley Cooper) he testified against are both trying to hunt them down."

After they break into Mack Daddy's home and swipe an ancient medallion from a grotesque statue, the evil Leprechaun (Warwick Davis) is freed from his magical prison. Barry learns that humans have been stealing and eating honey for centuries, and he realizes that his true calling is to obtain justice for his kind by suing humanity for theft."

This week Lia and Claire review... NACHO LIBRE!!! Nacho Libre- "Ignacio (Jack Black), or Nacho to his friends, works as a cook in the Mexican monastery where he grew up. The monastery is home to a host of orphans whom Nacho cares for deeply, but there is not much money to feed them properly. Nacho decides to raise money for the children by moonlighting as a Lucha Libre wrestler with his partner Esqueleto (Héctor Jiménez), but since the church forbids Lucha, Nacho must disguise his identity."

To ring in the new decade, Lia and Claire review... BRAM STOKER'S DRACULA! Dracula: "Count Dracula, a 15th-century prince, is condemned to live off the blood of the living for eternity. Young lawyer Jonathan Harker is sent to Dracula's castle to finalise a land deal, but when the Count sees a photo of Harker's fiancée, Mina, the spitting image of his dead wife, he imprisons him and sets off for London to track her down."

This week Lia and Claire review... PRINCESS CYD Princess Cyd: "A 16-year-old girl visits her aunt in Chicago for the summer. While there, she falls for another girl, and she and her aunt challenge each other's sex and spirit."

This week Lia and Claire review.....JACK FROST!! Not the Christmas classic, but the horrible, low-budget slasher flick JACK FROST "As notorious serial killer Jack Frost (Scott MacDonald) is being driven to his execution, the truck carrying the murderer encounters a bizarre accident that transforms him into a mutant snowman. Sheriff Sam Tiler (Christopher Allport), who caught the psychopath originally, has remained concerned about his return, and it seems that his fears were well-founded. Before long, bodies pile up, all killed in gruesome wintry ways. Can the sheriff stop Frost's icy reign of terror?"

This week Lia and Claire Review... A CHRISTMAS PRINCE!!! Also, this is the first time we're recording ~remotely~ so the audio quality isn't as stellar as usual, so please bear with us as we figure it out. Thank you guys for being so great!! Soon, Barb's friend Claire (Lynne Griffin) goes missing from the sorority house, and a local adolescent girl is murdered, leading the girls to suspect a serial killer is on the loose. But no one realizes just how near the culprit is."

This week Lia and Claire discuss... TWILIGHT!! Yes, you read that right. "When Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) reluctantly moved to the perpetually overcast town of Forks, WA, and set out to carve a niche for herself, she assumed it would be one similar to the low-profile social position she held back in Phoenix. First on the list of surprises was the unfamiliar attention from the male population of her new high school; second, the attention from one male in particular: Edward Cullen, Vampire (Robert Pattinson). For the Halloween Special, Claire and Lia review..... THE TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE (1974) "When Sally (Marilyn Burns) hears that her grandfather's grave may have been vandalized, she and her paraplegic brother, Franklin (Paul A. Partain), set out with their friends to investigate. After a detour to their family's old farmhouse, they discover a group of crazed, murderous outcasts living next door. As the group is attacked one by one by the chainsaw-wielding Leatherface (Gunnar Hansen), who wears a mask of human skin, the survivors must do everything they can to escape."

This week Lia talked to Claire and Lia's dear friend Katie about her two favorite bad movies... THE MUPPETS & DR. HORRIBLE'S SING ALONG BLOG!! "Walter, the world's biggest Muppet fan, is on vacation in Los Angeles with his brother Gary (Jason Segel) and Gary's girlfriend, Mary (Amy Adams). They discover that greedy Tex Richman (Chris Cooper) plans to raze Muppet Studios and drill for oil on the spot. This week Lia and Claire are reviewing.... HAUNTING ON FRATERNITY ROW! Yes, you read that right "A fraternity throws its last ever winter luau, but when fraternity brothers and coeds begin dying horrible deaths, they discover an evil entity has taken over the house."

This week Claire and Lia review.... THE EVIL DEAD!!! "Ashley "Ash" Williams (Bruce Campbell), his girlfriend and three pals hike into the woods to a cabin for a fun night away. There they find an old book, the Necronomicon, whose text reawakens the dead when it's read aloud. The friends inadvertently release a flood of evil and must fight for their lives or become one of the evil dead. Ash watches his friends become possessed, and must make a difficult decision before daybreak to save his own life in this, the first of Sam Raimi's trilogy."

This week is.. CHILD'S PLAY!! Gunned down by Detective Mike Norris (Chris Sarandon), dying murderer Charles Lee Ray (Brad Dourif) uses black magic to put his soul inside a doll named Chucky -- which Karen Barclay (Catherine Hicks) then buys for her young son, Andy (Alex Vincent). When Chucky kills Andy's baby sitter, the boy realizes the doll is alive and tries to warn people, but he's institutionalized. Now Karen must convince the detective of the murderous doll's intentions, before Andy becomes Chucky's next victim.

Continuing with the spooky season, Claire and Lia review... SLEEPY HOLLOW! "Set in 1799, "Sleepy Hollow" is based on Washington Irving's classic tale "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow." Faithful to the dreamy custom-bound world that Irving paints in his story, the film mixes horror, fantasy and romance and features an extraordinary cast of characters that dabble in the supernatural."

This week Lia and Claire review... A CRY IN THE DARK!!! And talk about how fucked the justice system is in general, in the US and abroad! WOO! "While on vacation in the Australian outback, Seventh Day Adventist priest Michael Chamberlain (Sam Neill) and his wife, Lindy (Meryl Streep), discover that their baby, Azaria, is missing from the tent where she was sleeping. Lindy claims she saw a dingo leave the tent with something in its mouth. Initial evidence supports the Chamberlains, but negative media coverage and unfounded rumors create a shift in public opinion as people begin to suspect the couple of murdering their baby."

This week Lia and Claire review.... THE LOST BOYS! "Teenage brothers Michael (Jason Patric) and Sam (Corey Haim) move with their mother (Dianne Wiest) to a small town in northern California. While the younger Sam meets a pair of kindred spirits in geeky comic-book nerds Edward (Corey Feldman) and Alan (Jamison Newlander), the angst-ridden Michael soon falls for Star (Jami Gertz) -- who turns out to be in thrall to David (Kiefer Sutherland), leader of a local gang of vampires. Sam and his new friends must save Michael and Star from the undead."

This week is a bit of a weird one- Claire had to go out of town for a few weeks unexpectedly, so while she tries to figure out how to make the sound not sound like garbage from hundreds of miles away, we have another mini-episode!
