Some of us just graduated while there are other who have already graduated a long time ago. There are also some of us who are working a full-time job while there are some of us who are unemployed and chilling. Regardless, there will be a point in time when we start to wonder as to what should we do with our lives because that is precisely us. A year ago, we wondered as to what we should do moving forward. Fresh from graduation and ready to take on the world with our paper certificates, we start to wonder... So after a year in the force, here are our lessons and stories that we want to share with you on how you can also adult successfully.

Now that both of us are considered full adults under the eyes of the law, we felt the need to look back into the past and give advice to our younger selves. She was from Madrasah Alsagoff Al-Arabiah from Primary 1 till the end of Pre-University. She is also the founder of @Snazk_snacks on Instagram where she sells bakes such as Basque Burnt Cheesecake and Tapak Kuda. We talked about her experiences in a madrasah and how different it was being raised in such an environment.

This is the first episode of the 'Madrasah Vs Secular' series also known as MVS. In this series, we share our individual experiences in a madrasah system and a secular system in Singapore. These opinions and perspectives come from our own experience and is not that of any particular group. In this episode, Nuha shared her experience studying in a madrasah system in Singapore, one that not many of us know.

In this episode, Hakim and Nuha talked about their reflections on the past two episodes. In the past two episodes, they had invited non-Malay Muslims and had gained some valuable insights on how they should be interacting with their non-Malay counterparts.

Today, we have Siddique Lim, an SMU undergraduate, who will be sharing with us his experiences as a Chinese Muslim and a convert in a community that is made up of a Malay-Muslim majority. Also, she shared with us stories from her past about how she navigated her way in this world being a minority of minorities.

In the recent rise of social activism on social media, Hakim and Nuha weigh in on their thoughts on the evolution of social media, how it is affecting us as individuals and also our responsibility towards its use. 

In this episode, Hakim and Nuha talk about failure and how they deal with failure. As failure is something that everyone experiences, it is important for us to understand how we can deal with it and learn from it. In this conversation, Hakim and Nuha shared about their experiences of failure in their respective fields and provide advice for the Year 1s and 2s and how they can utilise their failure to their advantage.

Ramadan 2020 is soon finally coming to an end. It has been a very weird month for all of us and due to the circumstances, we could not find comfort in the things that we have always looked forward to every year. However, in today's conversation, Hakim and Nuha shared their experiences and their reflections of Ramadan during the Circuit Breaker and realising that there are blessings as long as we are willing to find it.

It is already the third week of Ramadan and some of you are already feeling the fatigue. Along with a few more weeks of the circuit breaker, there will definitely be some blow to our motivation, things that we had hoped and excited to achieve at the beginning of the month may no longer be as enticing and we may no longer be as driven to achieve them. So today, we invited Nadiah Ismail, a Year 3 NUS Undergraduate and an active member of the Muslim society, to share with us her thoughts on her current situation with motivation. Here, she shares about the struggles that she is facing and the solutions that she has come up with to be more motivated.

In today's conversation, we will be sharing about how could we serve the community and our families during Ramadan and ways in which we can bring back the Ramadan spirit!

This year's Ramadan is exceptionally different. With the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic that has many affected many different countries and communities around the globe, it has also affected how we experience Ramadan this year. As many of the activities that we look forward to during Ramadan has unfortunately been cancelled, it may seem hard to feel the 'vibe' of Ramadan and unfortunately, we might get unmotivated easily. With us today is Muhammad Adil who had served the NUS Muslim Society as the 55th President and also served the Muslim community in many other ways. He is here with us to share his current experience as a newly working adult and experiencing Ramadan at home. He also shares how he motivates himself to reach the goals that he has set for himself this Ramadan.

This is our first episode whilst practising social distancing and being stuck at home during the circuit breaker. In this episode, Hakim and Nuha talk about how they are coping with studying at home for their final semester and how this circuit breaker experience has changed the way they study. They shared tips and tricks on how they do so and also some ideas as to how to keep the motivation up!
