Our vision is to join God in the renewal of all things through personal transformation, community development, and social justice. We gather on Sunday mornings to lean into this vision seeking God's direction and praising Him for what He's already done.
Triumphal Entry: How Do People Respond When You Enter the Room? (Matthew 20:29-34 & Matthew 21:1-17) A message by Dr. Stephen Peters
This Sunday, we kicked off our new message series entitled, Road to Victory where we will explore the life of Jesus — the one who stepped up to rescue us from the penalty of our sins. In this message, Elder Luke Raughley teaches from the book of Luke 22:14-20 that the Last Supper is a reminder to us all as Christians to share the life-giving message of Jesus, whose sacrifice actually offers freedom, not destruction.
In this message, Pastor Yung Kim teaches from John 4:4-15, pointing out that one encounter with Jesus can change our outlook on life and remove barriers that have kept us from getting close to him.
In today's message, Receive the Glory of the Lord's Restoration, Luke Raughley shares the invitation from God to be restored as well as other invitations God makes to us from Isaiah 55:1-13
Join us for our final installment from our Stepping Up series as we explore what it means to Step Up & Out With God — an experience that is both courageous and intimate.
This Sunday Luke Raughley shared a message entitled Stepping Out with Friends. Through 1 Samuel 18: 1-4 and 1 Samuel 20:1-17, we witness how God gave David friends and allies from and unexpected places. We are encouraged to affirm and reaffirm friendships like the one David had with Jonathan, in our own lives, so they can outlast the pressures and challenges we may face.
This week, Minister Luke Raughley equips us through scripture looking at the experiences of David in 1 Samuel 17:23-58, with keys questions to ask ourselves and provides helpful guidance on the position we need to take so that we step up to the Giant we may be facing in our lives with full confidence.

In this message, Dr. Yucan Chiu, guest speaker, and pastor of Ethnos Church in New Brunswick, NJ, teaches from Acts 11:19-30 and Acts 13:1-3. We discover, that in the economy of Jesus it's not about being one of the all-stars. It's about being the everyday, ordinary person who can be used by God in the most extraordinary ways.
In this message Stepping Up to Love, the second in out Stepping Up series, Pastor Jean Cadet walks us through the life of Esther. He teaches us from Esther 4:9-17 that true love requires us to step up and take risk that pull us out of our comfort zones.
In this message, Dr. Stephen Peters starts the New Year with a sermon from Numbers 13 and 14. Looking at the life of Caleb and the people of Israel we learn how God responds when we step up in faith to a challenge trusting what he tells us rather than what we see and feel.
In today's message, guest speaker Minister Luke Raughley delivers a powerful and practical message to us from Luke 2:8-20 about the three shepherds who went to see the Jesus child. He teaches us that JOY does not depend on our circumstances, but rather from a spiritual reality that we can experience as we draw close to God.
In this message, Dr. Stephen Peters continues our Christmas series with a sermon on LOVE from Matthew 2:1-16. In it, he shows us Jesus' birth was far from the warm and fuzzy images we get from classic Christmas songs. Instead, Jesus' love-centered birth led to an explosive mix of emotions far and wide that produced tremendous conflict -- evidence that if we want to experience love, we must also be willing to experience conflict.
Pastor Lipe Fernandez from Liberty Church Jersey City joins us as a guest speaker for our December message series entitled — A Christmas Story: HOPE, PEACE, LOVE & JOY. Pastor Lipe shares on the topic of PEACE, from Isaiah 9:6. He reminds us Jesus came to bring peace that is not circumstantial. It is not dependent upon what you or I may be going through. Peace also includes being peacemakers, making peace with people who don't deserve it, and bringing places where it is needed. That is what God through Jesus did for us.
This week, Pastor Yung Kim from Ethnos Church, New Brunswick join us to kick-off our December message series entitled- Christmas Story: Hope, Peace, Love & Joy. Speaking from Luke 1:39-45, Pastor Kim gives us an encouraging and sobering message on how to deal with disappointment. Mary, the young bride-to-be learned she would give birth to Jesus, the Savior, on a timeline and under circumstances that were out of step with tradition but yet were aligned with God's purposes for her life.
To become more like Christ we have to rely on him for not only our justification but our sanctification. Minister Luke Raughley coaches us through Philippians 3:15-21 showing us that our sanctification -- the process of being made holy requires we cultivate a mature view of what it means to be a follower of Jesus. Part of that includes letting go of our old views which can make us act as enemies of God instead of as members of his family.
The Bible provides us with practical insights about how our attempt to live a life based on our accomplishments and affiliations can be more limiting than we think. In this lesson from Philippians 3:1-9, Dr. Stephen Peters encourages us to shift our confidence from a life shaped by our credentials to one conformed by the cross.
This week Rev. Cadet joined us again and preaching from Philippians 4:13. He points out that God makes us each extraordinary individuals by using the setbacks and disappointments we experience in life. And that when God gives us strength He does so for and for and under specific conditions, all with His plans for our lives in mind.
In this message, our guest speaker, Pastor Devin Deuell, Founder of the Commons LA, a church community focused urban university regions, beginning at UCLA. Teaching from Philippians 2:1-18, Pastor Devin reminds us that the pursuit of personal gain falls short of being fulfilling on its own. Rather as followers of Jesus we are to recognize that God blesses us to bless others. When we do that we enable God's power to work through us and allow His light to shine in the world as we engage in life together.
This week, our Worship Leader, April Peters shares a powerful message from Philippians 1:21-30. She exhorts us that adopting a holy perspective in the midst of conflict demands that we choose calling over comfort and make our faith in Jesus our first and only contingency plan as we allow God's word to transform our inner dialogue.
This week, our own Dr. Stephen Peters unpacks Philippians 1:14- 20. He shows us that part of keeping the right perspective is recognizing that God uses our travel restrictions to His advantage. God maximizes limiting geographies and circumstances to position us to be accessible agents of change in the lives of the people closest to us.
This week, Rev. Jean Cadet shares from Exodus 14:5-14. He highlights that despite what we often hope for, there's no such thing as normal. In fact, change leads to change. Sometimes it's positive, sometimes it's negative, but it never goes back to what we remember it to be as "normal". It is in these times of change, God challenges us to not be overcome by fear but to stand firm and trust him as he moves us forward into the future.
This week our own Luke Raughley, minister of the gospel and local missionary with World Impact, in our beloved city of Newark, New Jersey continues with Part 2 of The Road to Adventure. He digs into Acts 2:38 -47 and shares the four key components those new followers of Jesus put to practice that fostered more than ordinary community but communitas - a bonding that allows them to have a life-altering adventure they were able to engage in together.
This week, our lead pastor, Pastor Andrew McCleese shares from Ephesians 4:30 - Ephesians 5:2. He emphasizes that as Christ-followers we are called to live a life counter to the culture. Part of living counter to popular culture is being committed to loving and abiding with each other as members of the family of God even when we experience disagreement or feel offended by one another.
In this message, we are guided further into the book of Ephesians 4:11- 14 by Pastor Andrew McCleese. He unpacks for us the reality that God has given each of us a calling to serve in ministry regardless of our vocations. Reminding us that we all have a role in the body of Christ, and are called to join God in His renewing work in the world as part of the local church.
This week, Rev. Larry Raughley focuses our attention on Ephesians 6:10-19. He reminds us that the battles and struggles we face have spiritual roots and are an attempt to keep us from following Jesus wholeheartedly. As Christians, we have access to power from heaven that will equip us to be strong in the Lord's power when we experience struggle if we are willing to intersect with God and use the resources he has given us rather than choosing to fight for our own way and in our own power.
In this message, Pastor Andrew McCleese leads us through Ephesians 3:20-21 and points out that God is able to do far more for us, in us, and through us, than we could ask or think. That can often mean bypassing what we ask for so he can do something for us far better.
