It's as simple as delighting in the presence of God with us… it's acknowledging God as the Good Giver of our kids… it's thanking God for his help or for an aspect of who he is. As we seek to live a life of worship in out motherhood, we don't have to overcomplicate things.
What would it look like for us to dwell in the house of God in this season of motherhood? To worship God in every moment? Rocking a fussy baby, playing peek-a-boo on the ground, washing and folding little clothes... in every moment, God presents us with the space to be with and worship him.
As moms, we often wake up with a sense of just getting through another day… another day of preparing meals, changing diapers, getting work done, and simply keeping everyone alive! Psalm 23:6, however, meets us in our daily trudge and reminds us that every day, we are pursued by the goodness and mercy of God. When we believe that every day is of spiritual significance, we are led to receive the gift of God's presence and work within us.
As a mom, it can feel like so much is riding on you. You are responsible for the life (or lives) of another human being, making sure they are fed and soothed and cared for. In a season where you are carrying so much, remember that your relationship with God is not one more thing you have to carry. Your faith is not another box to check but a relationship to rest in.

Both through green pastures… a sweet moment of connection with your child or the joy of a growing family… and through dark valleys… the frustrations and struggles of motherhood or the silent mental battles being fought… in it all, God's goodness and mercy accompany us.
We don't have to wait until we have more time or until our kids are older to go deeper in our relationship with God. Jesus invites into the full richness of a relationship with him now.
