The As For Football Army Football Show

Week 8 is in the books, and we got a wild one. Upsets galore, shakeups in the AP Top 10, and a heck of a lot of high leverage contests on the way. Rob, Joe, and Dan break down all the action, review the service academy results, and go deep on what it all means for would-be conference contenders. Then: which conferences might put multiple teams in the College Football Playoff? We finish with a preview of this week's games with emphasis on the American Conference and the Big 12 and finish with out Locks of the Week.

Jordan, Rob, and Dan go discuss the Black Knights' game down at Tulane, going deep on what worked, what didn't, and what the team can do to get more explosive on offense. They then hand out their awards for Players of the Week. In the show's second half, the team previews this week's contests in the American Conference. Friends, your Army Black Knights got a big win on the road this past Saturday, and we've got the whole OG AFF Crew in the house to celebrate! This week: Jordan, Rob, Dan, and James break down the win over UAB, talk about what worked and what didn't, and pick their players and play of the game. Shall we play a game? We're into Week 6 of the college football season, coming off one of the best weeks of football we've seen in a while. This week, the guys break down all the action, talk service academies and AP Top 10, and reflect on how hard it is to win a Natty from a super-strong conference. Then: were all of these schools right to fire their coaches so early in the season? We close with Week 6's games, highlight the American Conference Game of the Week, and of course, give you our Locks of the Week.

We review the ECU game, look for some positives, and ponder where the Army Team goes from here. Then we're on to UAB. He walks us through the recruiting process, tells what he loves about Army Football Saturdays, and then walks us through that fateful Friday night when he and Larry, Jr., saved a man from a car fire. Yes friends, College Football Roundtable is back for a special Memorial Day Show. This week: Dan, Rob, and Omar talk their favorite Memorial Day movies, discuss recent Army coaching changes, and Army players -- recent and not-so-recent -- who've made it to the pro's. Then: Do Conference Championship Games still matter? Do conference championships even matter? What in the world is going on with college football and the playoff?! Dan, Rob, and Omar open the show with a brief discussion of Army Lax and RPI. We then transitioned to discussion of the Spring Game and Army's offensive scheme, followed by some discussion of the recent Transfer Portal news. Former Army QB/TE Kelvin White then joins us for the best interview we've had in quite a long time. He talks about the transition from Coach Ellerson to Coach Monken, about how West Point set him up to learn to snowboard in the Alps, and about how Army might (or might not!) use their Tight Ends in the passing game this year. Friends, we had a really good show this week. The best of the offseason by far. Don't miss it!
