Army Men is a series of video games originally developed by The 3DO Company[1] and then by Global Star Software. It is based on various conflicts between four kinds of plastic army men, distinguished by their color: the Green, the Tan, the Blue, and the Grey. Two other factions, the Red and the Orange, as well as a much smaller army, the Black, also contribute to the story. Two additional factions, the Galactic Army and the Alien Army, were introduced in Army Men: Toys in Space.Archie Comics' Sonic The Hedgehog Sonic Quest: The Death Egg Saga 2 Miniseries00:00 Intro06:11 SonicQuest: The Death Egg Saga Book Two - Poached Part I29:56 SonicQuest: The Death Egg Saga Book Two - Poached Part II34:26 SonicQuest: The Death Egg Saga Book Two - Poached Part III49:38 Outro-----Gotta Talk Fast is an oral review of Archie Comics' Sonic the Hedgehog. In this episode, we look at how our attitudes towards invertebrates can change. Tom is joined by podcaster Ellen Weatherford from Just The Zoo Of Us to examine what it means to learn about invertebrate life, and how that process of learning changes our outlook on the world at large. What does it take to become an invertebrate fan in adulthood? And what changes in your parenting as your feelings our scuttling pals changes? All this, plus Tom mentions Army Men for the PS1 as part of a broader discussion around our relationships with the natural world.
This week we're talking about the current Kickstarter from High Level Games, a game called Army Men, and we're joined by the head of High Level Games, Josh Heath (also of Werewolf: the Podcast and the OpCast), and the lead designer for the game, Neil Litherland. Army Men is a 5e driven game about playing in the world of those classic molded figures we all played with, and can still find so easily to this day. The system has been tweaked and prodded for the setting, and having seen the manuscript, the game just looks like awesomely good fun! Friends, it's finally here. BEAT NAVY WEEK! This week: Army Men's Swimming beat Navy for the first time since 1990. We'll take you through the meet and tell you how it happened and why Army looks to be in really good shape heading into the future. Then it's time to preview the biggest college football game of the year. We break down the game as only AFF can, tell you which match-ups to watch, which statistics might prove to be decisive, and how Army can win. We close it up with our Fact or Fiction takes and with Rob's favorite Army-Navy memory. It's a great show this week, and we're in for a terrific game. Go Army! Beat Navy!!!

Opening Bible verse: Matthew 24: 37-44 Does Christmas stress you out? It stresses me out! I'm not good at choosing gifts for people that I'm confident they will like. I stress about all the money involved, the mess, the extra annoying traditions like elves that need moving and on and on. This Sunday, November 27th, marks the first Sunday in Advent and in today's episode, I invite you into one of our family traditions that keeps me grounded in the reason for the season. This is not meant to be yet another thing added to your To Do List. Please do not even look at Pinterest for any ideas, keep it simple and stress free! Begin with asking your kids how they can use their time, talent, and treasure to bring Christ into the season. Our kids are so creative and once the ideas start to flow...there's no stopping them. I pray this tradition is one you and your family will embrace and look forward to year after year. Here is the list I mention in this episode along with the original old school YouTube video that shows you the Advent bags I mention in this episode. Merry Christmas! The Cognitive Crucible is a forum that presents different perspectives and emerging thought leadership related to the information environment. The opinions expressed by guests are their own, and do not necessarily reflect the views of or endorsement by the Information Professionals Association. During this episode, Dr. Jon Roginski discusses insider threats. Jon asserts that insider threat detection and mitigation is an inherently complex human problem, and describes two broad risk activities: trait-based and state-based. His colleagues at the West Point Insider Threat Program connect insider threats with the medical community and examine the problem as a living, breathing, and growing dynamic. Research Question: How do we lead the development and/or maintenance of organizational culture so that the workforce is connected to and invested in the organization and believes that connection and investiture is reciprocated. The program considers threat research from a variety of different vectors from the traditional (fraud, espionage, spillage) to contemporary...a holistic approach of creating an organizational ecosystem that is incompatible with threat. What does that really mean? A couple things. First, we consider many factors that erode our enterprises efficiency and readiness from the inside out to be insider risks or threats. We want to build a better place to live and work so people feel connected to and invested in their organization and environment so we can build up, rather than tear down. Second, if you have a research topic that you feel doesn't fit anywhere, come talk to me. You may be surprised at the connections that may be made to current projects or the appetite for a new approach! LTC(ret) Roginski was a class of '96 mathlete and rugby player, basic branch Military Policeman, functional area Operations Research analyst, and (is) an enthusiastic Network Scientist. As him about being a Platoon Leader and Commander in the 10th Mountain Division, Commander and Provost Marshal in Okinawa Japan, member of a think tank reporting directly to the Chief of Naval Operations, ORSA leader at Fort Drum and Kandahar Afghanistan, or invited Network Science Professor at Singapore's premier defense (they call it defence) institute. Come ask a question about the power and relevance of network science in today's operating environments...or about how you can support the Army Men's Rugby team in climbing the mountain to their second National Championship!
