(00:00-41:35) Today, Anthony and Andrew open the show discussing the Philadelphia Eagles win in the NFC Championship Game to advance to the Super Bowl, and what it means emotionally to the fan base, which hits home with one bittersweet story from a caller about yesterday. Altogether, though, today is a celebration! (41:35-1:02:46) Next, The Cuz and Choonis briefly talk to the city about the Eagles before they open up today's vault to look back on yesterday's NFC Championship highlights for the NFC Champion Philadelphia Eagles! (1:02:46-2:03:37) Then, the Cuz and Choonis open up the phones to talk to the city about Philly's excitement to be in the Super Bowl, and even a caller all the way from India! The city and Eagles' fan base are buzzin'! (2:03:37-END) The Final hour of the show kicks off with a clip of Eagles' fans trolling Joey Bosa, brother a San Francisco 49er, Nick Bosa, outside The Linc yesterday as the older brother was walking into the game. The show wraps up with Anthony praising this Eagles team and coaching staff, and talking to the fans a little bit more as the fan base has a fun next two weeks ahead of it with our Philadelphia Eagles heading to Arizona and Super Bowl LVII!
The Philadelphia Eagles beat the San Francisco 49ers by a score of 31-7 down at the Linc to become the NFC Champions! The Birds now head to Super Bowl 57, which is going to be an amazing game.It was a bizarre game as Brock Purdy and Josh Johnson both saw time under center for the 49ers. The unraveling of the Niners will certainly be a major theme coming from this game. The Eagles took care of business, exposed the Niners vulnerabilities and came away with the win.The Eagles offense scored 4 rushing touchdowns, while Jalen Hurts looked a little “off” at times within the passing game. But inevitably, he came through when he needed to help secure this win. The Eagles defense was completely dominant and took the 49ers offense out of the game early in the first quarter. As always, we gave our themes, takeaways from the game, and our grades.Head over to our website for all of our podcasts and more: philadelphiasportstable.com.Follow us on Twitter:Jeff Warren: @Jeffrey_WarrenLen Hunsicker: @LenHunsickerErik Leonard: @BrickPolittAnd the show: @PhiladelphiaPSTFollow the show on Instagram: instagram.com/philadelphiasportstable

Tailgating at The Linc with good friends!, We talk about the Sunday games and who the Birds may face for the NFC Championship, also discuss sayings and their meaning, we wrap the fun show with a discussion of great Championship games through the years.
The Philadelphia Eagles beat the New York Giants in the Divisional Round of the NFL Playoffs by a score of 38-7 down at the Linc! A score that many Eagles fans are all too familiar with from the 2017 season. They are now heading to the NFC Championship game!Absolute dominance in the trenches is how this game will be remembered. Both the Eagles offensive and defensive lines dominated and outplayed the Giants up front for four quarters. Jalen Hurts' shoulder didn't seem to bother him, and Lane Johnson held up all game as he played with a torn groin and core muscle. The perseverance of this Eagles team was on display tonight, especially on defense as the front seven had Daniel Jones rattled all evening. As always, we gave our themes, takeaways from the game, and our grades. Episode 129 - We have a weekend of great games, and the Vegas bookmakers think they will all be within one score, do I? We open on Saturday in Arrowhead. Pat Mahomes has never lost a divisional playoff game, but can the Jags ride the momentum of last weeks giant comeback and be this years "got hot at the right time" team? On Saturday evening at The Linc, people love the underdog Giants after a road win vs the fraud Vikings, will the Eagles show the world why they were considered the NFL's best team the majority of the season and dismantle the Giants for the third time this season? On Sunday, the Bills and Bengals will finish what they started in Week 17. The Bills are heavy (relatively) favorites. Is that an overreaction to the poor offensive output from the Bengals vs the Ravens the last two weeks? Lastly, America's new favorite team, the Cowboys travel to San Fransisco to take on Brock Purdy and the Niners explosive offense. Can the Cowboys hang with the Niners, or was last weeks domination more of an indictment on the Bucs? Apprenticeships are popular, but they don't always work for jobs that require many skills. That is why Linc Kroeger, the President of Knight Moves, is looking for ways to solve this problem and create economic success for underserved communities. Linc and Raul are discussing the difficulty of finding skilled tech talent in the US. Linc has seen many people try to include diverse talent in the workforce but without success. This motivated him to find a solution to the problem. He realized that companies were not willing to spend money on apprenticeships and that senior talent was needed to oversee them. He also noted that the competition for offshore talent was strong, with a shortage of tech talent in the US. To address this, he suggested that more should be done to bring people into tech. Who's The Guest? Linc Kroeger served on the Technology Association of Iowa board for three years. He was assigned by Governor Kim Reynolds to her Empower Rural Iowa Task Force and has been identified as “the most innovative leader in bringing tech jobs to rural areas in the nation” by U.S. Congressmember Ro Khanna representing Silicon Valley. Podcast Key Points: Linc talks about Knight Moves, the objectives, and who the company is really trying to help and how the transition took place to where he is today. Linc's biggest challenge across the whole country is the community college instructor shortage. Even if they offer Knight's curriculum, they cannot provide the instructors. They are trying to come up with creative ways to do this and one of them is pure online or even outsourcing offshore. Episode Highlights After graduating from high school back in 1986, Linc joined the Air Force, went into Fortran training and technology, and was able to go right from high school into a job. For the last decade Linc has been in the consulting technology space, and in his last company he was the CEO of a technology services company. In Linc's 35 years working in corporate America, he did not see many moves happening in the DEI space. Knight Moves is an organization looking at elite technology and bringing professionals in their training. Some of the interesting data around indigenous groups is that they have one of the lowest attendance rates to four-year colleges, but they can have the most unused scholarships. No one gets excluded from our program because they cannot afford it, says Linc. As soon as you start building trust, you start getting referred to the network. When you go in and you recruit a group of students and then 2 or 3 of them drop out in the first three weeks because it doesn't work for them, that's probably the biggest, toughest challenge we had, says Linc. The Knight Move started as a nonprofit and then we flipped as a social benefiting or B Corp model because as a B Corp we do not have to make a profit, says Linc. There are some really creative things you can do out there if you are doing something valuable for a social benefit and impact that goes along with it. Words of wisdom: In anything that you choose to do in life, find your flow and flow Connect Simone Sloan: Website | LinkedIn | Twitter | Facebook | YouTube Linc Kroeger https://www.kKnightmoves.org/ or https://www.linkedin.com/in/linc-kroeger-19674b/

Week 18 of the Philadelphia Eagles 2022-2023 season is now in the books! The Birds beat the New York Giants by a score of 22-16 in the final regular season game at The Linc, won the NFC East division, and secured the No. 1 overall seed in the NFC as the playoffs are around the corner. This was Jalen Hurts's first game back after suffering a shoulder injury a couple weeks ago. While he was rusty, it was good to see him back on the field, completing passes, and driving down the field. However, the offensive game plan more times than not ran out of steam in the red zone, where the Eagles scored only one touchdown in five trips. Jake Elliott was on fire putting a career-high 5 field goals through the uprights. The Eagles defense, while not facing the likes of Daniel Jones and Saquon Barkley, were very dominant and set the tone early. They were swarming throughout the game. Interestingly enough, the defense had a number turnover possibilities, yet weren't able to turn the ball over when they probably could have at several points in both halves. As always, we gave our themes and takeaways from the game.Head over to our website for all of our podcasts and more: philadelphiasportstable.com.Follow us on Twitter:Jeff Warren: @Jeffrey_WarrenLen Hunsicker: @LenHunsickerErik Leonard: @BrickPolittAnd the show: @PhiladelphiaPSTFollow the show on Instagram: instagram.com/philadelphiasportstable

The Eagles STILL are not the confirmed 1 seed in the NFL...but it should happen this weekend. If it doesn't..........................woof | The birds SHAT the bed against the Saints last weekend...and it's squarely on the shoulders of the offensive coaching staff...at least like 80%. lol They look to turn a new page this weekend and lay one on the Giants backups at the Linc. It shouldn't be a huge problem...as 14 point favorites in the game, Vegas agrees... | Penn State WON THE ROSE BOWL. Get excited! Ha. Clifford played his last game as a Nittany Lion, and his career was filled with ups and downs. All-in-all, Dave thinks it was one of the best PSU teams we have seen in quite some time... | Of course, thoughts and prayers to the Hamlin family after the horrible incident on MNF. We hope for his full recovery and nothing but the best for him and his family. Thanks for listening, liking, and sharing the podcast!! The audience continues to grow! You guys are the GOATS. Thanks guys! GO BIRDS!!!
Week 17 of the Philadelphia Eagles 2022-2023 season is now in the books. The Birds ended up losing to the New Orleans Saints at The Linc, their first home game after 3 road games, by a score of 20-10. The Eagles are now 13-3 on the season, and must beat the Giants next week if they want to win the NFC East division. They've been slipping for sure.Gardner Minshew was absolutely horrendous in this game and helped seal the Saints win by throwing a pick-6 at a crucial moment in the 4th quarter. Why the Eagles offensive coaching didn't utilize Miles Sanders in the run game more effectively after averaging 5.1 yards per carry in the game is beyond comprehension. This offense desperately needs Jalen Hurts back. Plus, the offensive line's performance was not stellar either. The Eagles defense was virtually non-existent on the Saints first few drives, but then got their act together in the second half. The Eagles defense now has 6-plus sacks in 5 straight games. Eagles are the first team in NFL history to have 4 players with 10-plus sacks in a regular season. Brandon Graham got his 11th sack on the year today, an all-time career high.Special teams - outside of Jake Elliott - stunk. As always, we gave our themes, takeaways, and grades.Head over to our website for all of our podcasts and more: philadelphiasportstable.com.Follow us on Twitter:Jeff Warren: @Jeffrey_WarrenLen Hunsicker: @LenHunsickerErik Leonard: @BrickPolittAnd the show: @PhiladelphiaPSTFollow the show on Instagram: instagram.com/philadelphiasportstable

Could there be more here, lurking just beneath the surface? ...a great question to ask at the top of a new year. ----------------- This is the fourth episode of "Where Water Flows Uphill", a special series that is asking, In the coming flood of change, who do we want to be? Produced by Weld Found, we follow Wes Bruce as he is creating a large-scale, interactive art installation at the LINC (Library and Innovation Center in downtown Greeley, CO).
