• My advice, the only advice I can give is what worked for me. Now, maybe that doesn't work for the next person. Maybe, you know, one of the people who came to me, maybe they don't have that kind of faith in God, maybe they don't have that kind of relationship. Maybe they don't have that kind of trust. Maybe, I don't know. All I can do is say, This is what worked for me. I handed it over, I've had people say, How do you even hand it over? What does that even mean? I can tell you what it means to me, and I can tell you how I told my kids how I taught them how to hand it over in situations that was too much for them. (4:18)• What is your definition of giving up? Because you still have to go on... You still have to wake up every day. You still have to put one foot in front of the other, is it rolling over and letting whatever happen take over and beat you, or is it to rise above it and create a plan and recreate something more than you had before? So what would you choose? We've talked about the 90-day plan and we've gone into detail with it, I've provided a download for it on my website as well, this isn't just for building a business plan, it can be for anything, any goal you have, it is a road map to a goal, now, there are a lot of people, especially entrepreneurs. When you think goals, you think of business goals... Well, that's how we operate. However, guess what? There's more to life than business. (6:45)• And there is life after divorce, so to be able to tell someone, don't waste time dwelling on the past. Embrace your memories. Embrace the good times. Here's another thing that I feel is really, really important, when I say, don't dwell on the negative things of the past, learn from them, make sure that you don't repeat any behaviors or repeat things fall into traps. (13:44)• I knew that I was worth it. I knew that I was the example for my kids, and I knew that they watched me and our kids become a product of their environment, and we've got to create that environment wisely, so start recognizing the things that make you happy. And you'll be surprised what you find out. It most likely is not gonna be necessarily something that you want, it may be something that you already have for me, it's my deck, it's my backyard, it's my sanctuary outside where I'm able to get in touch with myself, I'm able to sit in that quiet. KEYNOTES DISCUSSED:• We go through our lives and we have these dreams, we've got these expectations of our lives, and we sit here and we wonder, how do we get there? How do we reach this goal? Now, believe it or not, there are some people who don't have those kind of visions, those kind of dreams, but most likely those people aren't listening to this podcast. Because they just, they don't have visions like you do. You have visions of something that you want to happen in your life, you've got a place, you've got somewhere that you want to go...a goal to get to. (02:16)• That's the kind of world that we live in now, everybody labels and the world of social media is vicious. Social media, it has helped a lot of people. It's helped me. If I didn't have social media, I wouldn't have been able to reach the people that I've been able to reach to build my business and create the connections that I've had that have moved me forward in my life. But I'll tell you this, that social media can be just as vicious, and what I want you to do is break the chains of that, I don't want you living in the chains of the labels. And I don't care who it is, I don't care if it is your family, your friends, your spouse or your kids. (04:11)• If you're listening to this, I hope that you are a believer. I am a believer, I have faith, I know that God is real, I know that. I will tell you something, we have been blessed beyond measure in my family, and I know why, I know why, I don't live by somebody else's labels, I don't live by somebody else's judgment, I'm only judged by one, and that's not even me. Even though sometimes I sit here, and I might make judgments about my pictures and stuff like that, but that's not truth. (5:28)• I'll never forget that. I am mad that I did believe it, but also it drove me to be more... It drove me to be more than that. It drove me to be something that I was told that I couldn't be successful. But whose idea of success are we living up to? Is it our idea of success, is it somebody else's idea of success? Because let me also tell you this, that once you reach a level of success, you're then criticized by a lot of the same people who told you that you couldn't do something, who told you that you couldn't do just that, and then you did. (8:09)• It doesn't even take money, your faith is free, your faith and your belief in yourself is free. It doesn't cost you anything to move forward, you've got to take action though, if you want to be successful in any way. If you want to be able to pay your bills. Okay, that to me, there's a success right there. If you can pay your bills with comfort and still be able to breathe and enjoy your family later on, that to me, my friends, is success, winning. Continue winning. I love winning. • So it's something that you're going to have to keep going back to, it's the map. It's what you do. It's kind of like throwing spaghetti against the wall, you can just kind of go with things any way, but you're going to really want to have this foundation and do this every time with every business that you build. (4:38)• What type of business is it, and why does it exist? So your mission statement, or your mission statement is your business's reason for existing, and what it represents. So if you think about Tesla, Tesla, their mission statement is to accelerate the world's transition to sustainable energy. Tesla and Elon Musk, they've got their vision and they're working towards it every single day. The dude doesn't stop...he literally does not stop. (7:39)• You have to set boundaries. So I won't sacrifice my important time with my kids, all time with my kids is important. Right? But I remember there was our 20-year class reunion, and I was supposed to go... I hadn't been... I think I missed my 10 year, and I was supposed to go to the 20-year. I was really looking forward to it, but my daughter had a race, she raced quarter midgets, and I was like, Man, I really don't want to miss this race because she gets really excited about it and everything. Okay, so I did not go to the reunion, and thank God I didn't, because that was her first race that she won that day, had I gone, I would have missed that. (12:32)• So, you're going to use social media, messenger, posts, groups, wherever you're going to have your contacts, share posts and whatnot. You can use phone. Now these, these are just five ideas, these are not set in stone, if you've got other ways to be able to do it, write those down. Whatever it is that you're going to be launching. These are just ideas. Alright, so phone, where you're going to use your phone for texting, person-to-person voice calls, communication apps such as Marco Polo, that's like a video texting service, voice texting, but your best way is to have an actual live conversation. (17:51)• While you're building that up and dripping in and the social media design, map out your messages. So I had in the beginning, I had eight podcast subjects, eight subjects that I wanted to speak on, and then I just started mapping those out, I started creating the message for each of those, and then go ahead and work on strengthening your business plan because the stronger your foundation, the better. And the stronger and longer it's going to be around. Don't feel the need for it to be perfect, you just need it to be there. You've got to just have that vision to start with, and remember why you're doing it. (02:43)• I don't believe that my parents believe that I could do anything, they believed in who I was as an individual, and I think that this was probably the most instrumental thing, that for me, because they didn't ask me to be my brother, they didn't ask me to be in those things, and my daughter said it to me the other day, which is awesome. I said, Be yourself, always. (04:48)• It was desperation, it wasn't like an entrepreneurial spirit, it was like, we got free lunch at school, so we are got five tickets for free because we didn't have enough money to be able to get lunch, and then me and my brother would sell them and then we would buy the kind of lunch that we wanted. (8:24)• I want to write it like I talk... When you read the book, and my take on this, I like when you read a book, it's like we're having a conversation like and I may not win a A in how to write a book, but that was me, it came from my voice, and so I had wanted to do it for so long, and then my wife literally said, Why don't you shut up and go do it. (11:49)• It's like when they're out of sync makes things a little bit difficult and you have little challenges, and it's about adaptability, and when things start changing what we're in now, we need to adapt to the world. SHOW NOTES:• First of all, I want you to share your story with everybody who's listening, because I feel like there's a lot of people who see very successful people, and they think that those people just have always been successful. They've always had money, or they've always been in that top percent, and I want you to share where you came from, where your situation when you decided, I'm not going to stay in this place.(03:27)• Because I feel like it's similar to where I grew up, I never really knew anything outside of go to school, get a job, work your way up, do everything you can to impress your family, make them proud of you serve, serve, serve. I was raised in the church, and I just tried to always follow the rules, so I think the turning point for me was when I followed all the rules, and life still tanked that I knew something had to be wrong with the rules. It's kind of like what's going on in the world right now. Everybody's just wondering and following a set of rules that they stood by for so long and they don't realize that sometimes they need to find their own. (05:11)• It was everything I knew and believed in, so I was determined to make it work. So, I got involved with network marketing, and I was officially the worst human they'd ever seen, I was so afraid and so broken down, and I sucked at sales. I knew nothing about sales, I was doing phone TV, internet as electricity, I was disconnecting people's phones, I was screwing it up, royally. People are like, we've had this phone over in our family for generations, I'm like, Well, isn't it nice to bring in the new year with new, and they're like, No, it's not. And I was like, I'm really sorry. So I was really, really bad. Even my mentors who were some of the top 10 in the world, I think it was just a gift they were given to me, were like, Honey, you're not great at this, like maybe you should seek other avenues and work on this on the side for the next decade and see if it'll work. (09:20)• I really think I build their bravery enough to where they're brave enough, and we can have this conversation, the pin drop. And I'm like, I can build a business around that. So it's really helping someone be confident enough in that inner idea for a moment, and if they give me a moment, I can lay out a plan and a strategy for almost everything. Because my life was like three kids on my own having to do everything school, sports, house, everything, and I had to be so strategic in my every move that I can see someone's strategy from a mile away. They're like, it's the how I've got, it's the what that I need your help with. (16:17)• You've got the ripple effect. But a big one, and I feel like there are... How do I phrase this? So now I watch your Friday night lives and your posts and everybody, and all of the comments, and I think because I know you, and that it's not that I take it for granted, but I know how special you are, and not just me but to me and my girls, and I see all of those people who see you and you're such an inspiration to them, and I know that you inspire them so much and they just want to be in your presence. • So if you go really back to the beginning of where I have come from, I've come from absolute poverty, and I come from a place of absolute brokenness, not just financially or economically, but really mentally and emotionally, so the journey has been an amazing one, and it's been a long one, and it really does start with being in a place of desperation. (4:20)• They're dealing with financial fears and ramifications, what's going to happen with the housing market, there's just so many different things, and I think that's one thing that I've been able to really find us that hope, and I just want to encourage everybody today that... Number one, there is hope, there's hope for you in your situation, there's hope for you no matter what, if God can take me from where I was a broken strung out meth addict, shooting up at 19 years old, weighing 122 pounds. And it introduced me to an encounter with Jesus, a real tangible encounter, and it took me where I am today; to a stable father, husband, servant, entrepreneur that can help do something from my generation. There's absolutely no reason you can't do it for each and every one of us. (5:25)• It was something that maybe you didn't have growing up, so that's something that we call grace, and there's a reason that that's important today is because you have received grace, Kristina, I have received tremendous grace, we are both products of grace and transformation, and that very idea is why, I felt moved to start finding ways that I could do something to touch a generation. (6:36)• We're building, or we just built a 41000 litre water tank in an area within Tanzania, and near that school, in the vicinity of the region that has never had fresh water before, now, the fresh water itself is a massive impact, they literally drink water out of three massive holes that are dug in the ground, when it rains, but keep in mind, it's a drought area, so it doesn't always get rained, so water is limited. Water is dirty. So this water thing that we're building, I want the help of some of our supporters and some of the local business community is a life-changing thing. (16:17)• You know what, not everybody is called to go to Tanzania and build a water source, but not everybody is called to go down to South America and do a bunch of work down there, but you know what we've got? We've got a humanitarian mission field every day when we walk out the front door, and if we can just be intentional about encouraging somebody, lifting somebody up, finding a need and filling it. And I know that sounds so cliche, but it's really true. Gotta look beyond ourselves, and sometimes in our greatest trials, in our moments of grief and struggle financially or with COVID or whatever it might be, I think that sometimes the key is stopped fighting for yourself and release that and begin to fight for somebody else. • How are people to grow if they don't have somebody there who's going to be straight up with you? You know what I do? I struggle with it because it's obviously quite confronting, so you have to find a way to communicate with people that suits them, that they'll hear it. (3:08)• What's a big goal? Whether that's health, business or other things, and then map it out and don't even worry about it. Like your goal is there, if you follow this plan, you will get that all you need to do is check off these boxes every day, every week, every month, and that will be yours in the time that we allocated. (5:37)• Start to become very self-aware, and know the layer of that is a lot of people don't trust themselves to know what's good for them, for themselves. So it teaches you self-trust and you start to make decisions and say what you follow through on and what you've done it, and you can start to listen to yourself a little bit better, so it actually works on many layers. (10:53)• So I think that this is an accumulation of my mindset strategies from, I played basketball for a really long time, so knowing how to last the longevity of a game, or what happens when you're down, and what happens when you're out? How do you protect your lead? How do you gain momentum? How do you get to where you need to be by the end of the third quarter? (14:35)• So my job is to come in and go, Well, let's just strategize, how can we make that model? What if we strategize that so you could sit on the couch and be with you girls and not think, I've got a 100 things to do. It doesn't sound sexy, what I do isn't sexy, and it's not hard to understand. But it's challenging and confronting. • You are going to people with a solution, and I am really big about being a product of the product, I'm not going to go out and sell something to somebody and not know about it, I'm no going to sell something to somebody just to put some money in my pocket, and I'm not going to be a product of the product. I am going to share my story with someone, I'm going to share what this did for me. And in hopes of being able to solve an issue for that person, I'm hoping that this can do for them what it did for me, and that goes for the product and for the opportunity. (4:45)• So these are the things I want you to ask yourself, did they look down on that person who they bought that Tupper Wear, Or that Pampered Chef item from... So what makes you think that they're going to look down on you? You're just trying to make something better. You are doing what it takes in order to better your financial position, you should be applauded. And someone who is not applauding you should be ignored, you should not put any merit to what they are saying. (9:12)• No, not even talking about the financial aspect of it. I'm talking that I am friends with some of the best people on the planet, and I am blessed with their friendships. People all over the planet. I've got friends in England, I've got friends, one of my good friends is in Australia. I mean, people are all over the place, but most of all, it can give you freedom, it can give you so many different types of freedom, it can give you the time freedom... That is the biggest thing for me. Time freedom, where I am able to spend time with my kids. (16:19)• My concentration was on my kids in my business, books, you're going to be wanting to read or listen to books... Whatever works for you. Whether you like the audible books, oh my gosh, there's so many of them. There are so many of them, you're going to want to be reaching out to people, you're going to be wanting to grow your network of contacts, you're going to be wanting to meet new people all the time. You've gotta be growing your network at all times, you're gonna probably be putting in more hours than what you expect. Because there are a lot of people who get into network marketing and they think that it's just going to happen, they think that they can be home with the babies and not have to do anything. You've got to put in the work. (18:56)• There are going to be some obstacles you're ging to have to overcome, you're going to have to figure out the urgency with this, what is your why? How fast do you want to get your goals? What are your goals? Keep them in mind, keep them in the forefront of your mind all the time. And most of all, you're going to have to be coachable and you're going to have to learn a lot... I know, I did. I remember when I first started this, I thought I knew because I had been in other companies before, when I started with this one, I thought I knew everything, Oh my... was I wrong. So that really makes me laugh thinking about that, I'm like, Wow, yeah, I have come a long way in my knowledge, so it's going to take a lot, it's going to take dedication, but you absolutely deserve it. • Alright, so we're going to talk about I Am statements today. Because I Am statements are uplifting for you, they just make you feel good. They might seem silly at first, if you're looking in the mirror and you're saying, I am beautiful, or I am perfectly made. I have beautiful eyes. My hair looks fantastic. I love my stretch marks. We earned them, right? If you're a mom, those are tiger stripes, your stretch marks are tiger stripes, these are ways that you've got to turn things around. I am powerful. (3:26)• Whatever it is, that repetition starts to make you feel good. There's the emotion at first, it's uncomfortable, but then it makes you feel good, that positive feeling. So be mindful of those thoughts and those ideas that you're planting in your mind because those seeds that you're putting in there, if you give them enough cultivating, if you give them enough to grow on, they're going to start sprouting. (5:40)• Because once you start thinking positive about it, you're going to feel accepted by you. And you're really the most important to be accepted by. Who cares if somebody else doesn't accept you, you have all the power within you, and you're the most important, you're also in charge of how you feel every single day. You're the one who has all the power over controlling how you feel, and if you feel good about yourself, nothing else is going to matter if you feel empowered, if you feel impactful. (6:59)• So write it out, it's going to make more of an impact. And then if you want to make it your background on your phone or your screen saver or whatever, do that, so that it's always there. And, if you don't know what to write here, in fact, I'm going to read some examples for you. So, if you write it out, you're making that physical activity and it's making that impression in your mind. (8:57)• So I want you, each and every day, write down at least six I Am statements. I want you to write those down, I want you to repeat them each day out loud, don't just write them, and then that's it. You need to be talking to yourself when you're driving. If you're driving to work or driving to pick up your kids, if you're in the pick-up line at school, wherever you're at, I want you to be saying these things to yourself and don't be embarrassed about it. What is Neurofeedback?Research has emerged showing that the brain is not fixed but is instead very plastic and adaptable. After serious injury, people are able to relearn how to walk, talk, and reason. Brain scans show that neighboring regions of the injured brain have assumed new roles formerly performed by the injured regions. Neuroscientific research has proven that the brain can change. Many neurological disorders of the brain are indicative of brain dysregulation, and similar research into Neurofeedback has shown that brain activity can be modified to alleviate symptoms of these and other disorders in a safe, accessible, and cost effective way.Neurofeedback is a proven, non-invasive, non-medicated and permanent solution for ADHD, autism, anxiety, depression, and more. Neurofeedback works to dramatically reduce the symptoms of these disorders, leading to more consistent, focused, and successful work, school, and social performance. Working with their physicians, many of my clients have dramatically reduced and even stopped taking medications. SHOWNOTES:• I'm a registered nurse with a Master's degree in psychology, and so to me, I was like, Well yeah, we go to the medication, let's go do the stimulants, and we did that. It took three, maybe four different medications because each one of them made him so sick, we finally found one and it did the job, he could focus, he was able to function in school, and then we went to the yearly physical and found out that he'd stopped growing, so one of the side effects of stimulants can be a decreased appetite, and in his case, it severely impacted his ability to grow normally. (4:32)• I'm not at all anti-medication, but I just felt like I was empowering people to go and accomplish what their life dreams were, it's like if I can help them get their brain working well, then they can do the hard work and accomplish what they want, so that kind of jumped me into it. (6:21)• Neurofeedback, at its core is a learning process, so it is based on operant conditioning, which is the idea that if you reward behavior, then that behavior is likely to continue. And so the neuro-feedback we are able to track brain waves in real time, and we are able to essentially give your brain a cookie every time it's doing something that we want it to do. We have different parameters based on what we see in a brain map, which I'll talk about in a second, but we are able to reward your brain when it is doing what we want it to do. (12:49)• I just feel for people, I just feel for them because this has been an overwhelmingly stressful event and it's been essentially a chronic event that has gone on a year. And all changes all the time, there's no consistency, it's that lack of control and appropriate concern on all different levels, whether it's your own health, whether it's your job, this is a profound experience, and certainly people are having different levels of that experience. (17:24)• We see a lot of kids who, with the pandemic, we're seeing a lot of behavior issues that are cropping back up. Some of the behaviors were done and gone, then they had improved with training, and now there's a little bit of a regression because of all the stress, but in general, we do tend to see a lot of improvement with kids with our feedback training at a base level. Whatever they're coming in with, usually ADHD or a learning disability of some kind, often they respond better to neuro feedback. • When I say level, I mean ranks, because most of you already know that I am in network marketing, and my team is very, very large, and some of them I don't even get to know, which is depressing for me because I love being able to build those relationships, I love being able to work with those people. So, that's the way I think that level three is so fun, and it's really the most, I guess the most gratifying, if you will, because of those relationships, because of the excitement, because of the momentum, and when you see people growing. And oh my gosh, it really is the best when you see people coming out of their shells and coming into their potential. (3:55)• If you truly want to go to the higher levels of leadership, you're going to have to learn those skills there, and really, to be frank, you simply have to produce. There's no other way around it. You have to learn these skills, so now you've got credibility, you're in a position now that you've actually set a standard for others on your team, and you bring clarity, you've gotta bring clarity and a reality to the vision of your organization. You have to have a vision for it, you gotta tell them clearly what the goal is of your team as a whole. (8:58)• Put the time and effort into the momentum makers because they can make a huge impact on your organization. Now, these are the momentum makers remember? Okay, so get them out in front. Let them be heard. And this is going to piss some people off because, the people say it all the time, Oh, will you give attention to those people? We have to hear those people. Yeah, because these people have created success at various levels, and we want to make sure that everybody sees different levels of success, and that lets other people know what their potential can be. (15:41)• So even though the achievement becomes easier, the leadership itself does not become easier, right? Now, this is something that is really important to remember, because productivity can make you think that you're a great leader, when really you might not be. All great leaders are productive, however, your personal success... What I mean by personal success, your own success is your own achievements don't always translate to team success, so what do you do for others? That is what the leadership is about. (19:59)• And remember this, it also includes you, you are part of that team, you are the leader of that team, so know where you fit, know where your strengths, your abilities, your gifts, find out where they can contribute to all of the others. But also learn from the others and where they can contribute as well, because they're going to be able to, when they're building that camaraderie with themselves are going to be able to build that familiarity, they're going to be able to build that team atmosphere and those friendships. • It's a level of leadership based on results, people follow you because of what you've done for the organization, whether you're in a brick and mortar. You've had results. And people are impressed by that. People like that, and they want to be part of it. The level four is people development. People follow you because of what you've done for them, and they feel valued. (3:01)• We talk about growth on here all the time, bettering yourself, and those greater skills are going to be required, some risks, you're going to take risks because that's what leadership's about. Everybody takes risks, and some risks you're going to win, and some you're going to fail. But that can't allow you to give up, and I don't care what level you're at. I don't even care if you're not in leadership, you can't give up when you fail. Every single skill, every single risk is going to help you grow. (6:27)• The problem isn't that they don't have the ability to... It's a choice, and it's an attitude that can be changed though. I mean that can be changed, you have to want to grow, you just have to choose to grow, so if they make the choice to improve and grow, then they're not going to have any limits. So it comes down to this, choices matter. Don't think that you have to be stuck there forever, because you don't have to. You just have to make the choice to want to grow and change your attitude about it, I feel like, and also your mindset, because if you feel like you don't have it in you to move further, you have to work on that, you have to choose to work on that. (9:42)• Now, keep in mind that if you think that you're leading, but you don't have any followers, you're just taking a stroll, Okay? I want you to think about that, because if you think that you're doing a great job at leading, but you don't have anybody leading, who's there to lead, nobody. So, you've got to start connecting with people and you've gotta dedicate yourself to continuing your own development, so that you gain followers and then dedicate yourself to growing them as well, that's so important, because that's the part where people start to feel valued, that's the part where the relationships start to grow and flourish, and there's trust being built. (13:42)• I want to talk about one of the most important things to focus on and level two; it's to become aware of the uniqueness of people and learn to appreciate their differences. We talked about each person has a different personality, they have different communication languages, they've got... Maybe somebody doesn't like all the attention, but then there's somebody else who needs that constant validation, learn their different ways, that uniqueness of their languages, the uniqueness of their personality, the uniqueness of their needs. So some people... And this might sound silly to you, but I can guarantee that it's not silly to somebody else, because there are people who don't know how they can make these people at this level feel valued, there's questions that you can ask yourself as far as your followers go, what three non-business things do you know about this person? SHOW NOTES:• If you don't step out of that position and into the next level, and that's what I want to bring to you today, okay, so like I said, if your vision of success, if you're starting an organization or you are going to, or you already own a company, or maybe you're a network marketing, or you're putting a team together, you've gotta become a leader, you've got to get good at leadership. And if you can't lead well, you're not going to be successful, if you don't lead in a way that is inviting or inspiring to others. (4:22)• If you own a company and you hire some employees, you have become a leader, and you are in that position of leadership, but however you got there, it doesn't mean that you have to stay there in that positional leadership. Right, but it's the only level that doesn't require the ability or the effort to achieve because anybody can be appointed to that position. (7:27)• You are in network marketing, but they follow you because of what you've done, they see your results, productivity and momentum happen at that point, some people stop at level too, but if you're a person who... You're about action. You're driven by results. Level three just happens, okay, so you get things done, you make things happen, and that all fires up the people who are in your organization, and you gain influence, you gain credibility, and so much positivity flows at that level because of that growth, because of all that positive momentum. (10:26)• level five leaders build level four leaders, they build those level four leaders who are creating more leaders within the team, and you talk about a layered leadership... That is exactly what this is. It is layered leadership. SHOW NOTES:• Last week we had talked about self-awareness and listening to people who can give you constructive criticism, this is another part I wanted to touch on this again, and I won't go all into it, because we did just talk about this, but you do have to listen to anyone and everyone who can give you constructive criticism and advice, but here's the thing, do you respect that person? Do you look up to that person who's giving that to you, who's giving you that constructive criticism? Those are the people who you want to keep. (4:52)• It's okay to feel that fear, but don't show it, I don't show it, because then it's going to give it power. you don't want it to have power over you, so when you're the most scared, that is when you need to move the fastest, seriously, kind of like that whole kick in the gut thing, that's what you need to work on most. (7:24)• I'm a huge communicator. You cannot get past any sort of conflict or conflict management or anything, you can't have a properly functioning relationship with anyone without communication, and we talk about balance and the importance of balance, but it's almost impossible to find balance. You just really have to make the time and spend the time in all the places, it's time management. (11:07)• There's going to be people who are celebrating you, but there's a lot of those haters out there, they don't like to see somebody that's from their place, their town, their neighborhood, their family... Everybody's got that same... They're from the same place. When you find that success that they didn't work for, they didn't even look for, they don't like that. Don't let those people hold you back from what you want. SHOW NOTES:• It requires that understanding of what you are good at and what you suck at, and once you embrace that, you've gotta go in on all of your strengths, go all in. Okay, let you go on in on that because you're going to take that, you can grow with it, you can grow other people, you can bring that strength to others and help them grow. (2:21)• So when you accept the shortcomings, that is when you're going to start to excel, you're going to accept those shortcomings, you're going to be like, Okay, I'm not going to waste my time trying to master that, I'm going to take what I'm good at and I'm going to run with it. (4:37)• That's what I learned, is that I had to learn how to be honest and in a constructive way to help other people grow. But in doing that, I also was able to create a safe space for others to be able to come to me, and I could be honest, and they could tell me in a way that was constructive to me. (7:27)• Master your craft, okay? So, once you figure out self-awareness, I'm telling you, you're going to be unstoppable, once you figure it out, your strengths and you embrace the fact that you've got shortcomings, you will not be able to be stopped. And so any time I hear a strategy, or I hear something that could educate me more on something that I know nothing about, then I'm very open to it. (5:26)• And then I started researching that, I learned about the infinite banking concept, which is what we're gonna talk about today, and how you could have safe money strategies that have paid dividends for 10, 60 years, even through the Great Depression. (8:03)• There's many ways that it works and many benefits, so when you think about life insurance, you think about, Oh, it's only going to benefit you when you die. And with the types of policies that I believe in, you have living benefits and you have access to that money, so this high cash value, early early high cash value dividend policy is... It's a wealth-building strategy. (12:02)• So the key factor is the uninterrupted compounding interest, and that is how you build wealth, that's how you build legacy wealth, and how you can teach your kids how to not get trapped in the world of going out and borrowing money and paying cash for things and all of that. You can teach your children how to take control of their finances and to have that financial freedom, true financial freedom. (20:33)• And I'm not here to convince someone that it's the best thing for them because it may not be for them. They may not want to use it like I do, they may want to have more risk, I don't want any risk because I have made a lot of mistakes. I used to work for a financial company years ago, and a lot of people's money was tied in the stock market, and people will come in and write 100,000 checks, and then the next week it would only be 20,000 and it just made me sick to my stomach. SHOW NOTES:• So, we should be proud of ourselves, right? That's what made me want to do this podcast, do this subject today, because if I deal with this... We all deal with this. What I want you to really think about is this whole thing, your own greatness, okay? That was something that I should be very proud of, right? That was a portion of my greatness. So your goals, your ambitions, your dreams are part of your greatness, and you can't let anybody else hold you back. (3:16) • You can't be adjusting your goals for others, you play a big part, whether you know it or not. And here's another thing, what if you're in the business, or maybe you're just interested in helping other people change their lives, would you tell them to adjust their goals? Would you tell them to tamper down their goals because of the people around them? No, you're going to tell them to adjust the people that they surround themselves with, right? Because those people can limit them, their energy and attitude is contagious. (6:24)• There are 10 things and I want to go over these. We'll kind of break each one down a little bit, but most is going to be pretty self-explanatory. But there's oftentimes that we need reminders, I do, and that's why my personal, my self-growth, I have to remind myself of things all the time. So number one is self-confidence, okay? You have to have a level of self-confidence. And because there are going to be people who are around you that are going to try to bring you down, you have to be strong. (9:30)• That is business. You have to have that commitment, okay? Your business is your baby. Love it. Grow it. Nurture it. Alright, sounds corny, but it's true. Last, but definitely not least, you need to view uncertainty as an opportunity, the year of Covid 2020, that was a year of opportunity in so many different ways,. You talk about businesses, there were a lot of businesses, brick and mortar businesses that went out of business, there were a lot of them that actually grow because they pivoted... SHOW NOTES:• So these are different things that need to be done on a regular basis, but it's the consistency that is so important to reaching those in-between goals in order to reach the big goals. And if you've got different streams of income, maybe you got a network marketing business, maybe you've got a podcast, maybe you've got a course, maybe you've got a brick and mortar. If you have more than one of those things, then you've gotta have a goal for each one of those particular streams of income, and then break them down, you gotta break those down into those smaller goals and activities. (3:26)• One of my goals this year is to encourage leadership, so I told you that I'm starting some courses, but overall, I really want to focus on leadership now in small business, in the small business world. There's not, in my opinion, there's not enough focus on leadership. Oh, I start treading into this area because I get hate mail, but we're taught as children, we memorize things, we're not necessarily taught leadership, leadership is more of an elective. (5:06)• I want them to feel, when they are done talking to me, I want them to feel better, more valuable. I want them to feel amazing, and I want them to feel like they can bring that to somebody else and be able to bless somebody else's life the way that I just did theirs. Another thing that I have to ask myself every day, What am I doing to be my best? (8:55)• I'm telling you it's priceless. While it costs money, but what you get from it, you can't put a dollar amount on because it continue, it's an investment. And the interest, if you will, that grows on that investment, I've made way more money than what I have invested because of what I invested. Does that make sense? So success, It's not exactly easy. It takes hard work. We talk about it, It takes hard work. It takes courage. I mean, you're talking... your time, consistency. You're going to have frustrations. But you've gotta be dedicated. SHOW NOTES:• So maybe you have all sorts of ideas, maybe you just have one or two, but they’re huge and maybe they’re really scary. So, we’re going to break them down, so they’re not so scary, okay? Because they don’t have to be scary. I know that it can be, because even with I bought my boyfriend a workout system to put in the garage, and I picked up the instructions, I’m like, Oh my gosh, there’s so many things to do, but when you break it down and do it bit by bit, and you map it all out, it’s not so scary now. (2:58)• Timeframes are important. Now, if you don’t reach your goal by the time frame that you give yourself, do you give up? No, you just adjust your time frame, you just adjust that deadline, and adjusting the deadline doesn’t mean it’s a failure, it just means it’s an adjustment, okay? So, don’t feel defeated when you don’t reach those deadlines, but work your ass off in order to hit those deadlines. (5:42)• You can think of so many different people who will benefit from whatever you have, it’s not just you. That’s what I was thinking earlier today, I was like, Oh my gosh, how many people would this help out? So the list, you can be unstoppable, I’m telling you right now. As I was writing this, writing the notes out for this podcast today, I was all excited because I’m like, Oh my God, this is so much fun to be able to map things out and help. You can tell, this is my jam, this gets me all excited. (9:28)• Let’s just say that right now, it’s going to cost money. When we talk about the food truck, it’ll cost money, right? But we’re also going to turn a profit with the ideas that we come up with along the way. You’re going to sacrifice going out with friends. There will be a lot of times where there are people who are going to be upset. Maybe you won’t go out with them because you’ve got things to do that involve achieving your goals, maybe you miss out on some parties or some dates. Do you know that saying, live like nobody else does now, so that you can live like nobody else can later? (11:02)• So first, we talked about social media in the five different ways on social media. Now we talk about referrals, referrals are going to come from business connections, in group trainings, like I’m part of, my gosh, how many groups am I a part of? I have no clue. But I can do in-group trainings, and in those, I can be a guest in some of those and create more connections through that. Again, podcast interviews, I can get referrals through those online shares, if somebody shares the post, somebody shares the marketing for it. And also sponsors or speaking engagements, so sometimes I can get sponsors on my podcast or speaking engagements on stages. When you want to achieve or embark on a journey that you've never been on before, you want to talk to people who have been on that similar journey before. SHOWNOTES:• In order to help other people grow. In order to help us grow, but then that also feeds into helping other people grow. These talents are given to us to make an impact and make the world better, that's how I live, that's how I always want to make an impact. And I think of my words, like sometimes you hear me on the podcast and my words, because of the fact that I don't read a script, my words are always in my head, and I want to craft my words in a way that are going to make an impact on you. So, I guess this is my time where I'm going to say my apology for stumbling over my words a lot, but at least you know, it's from the heart. But anyway, we're all happiest when we're progressing, and when we're progressing, when we're making that impact, that helps us in growing because we're also growing other people. (3:26)• Make it your goal to bring value to other people with your gift, leave people better than what they came with, leave them with wanting more, leave them with wanting more of you and more for themselves. If you do that, you've made a deposit in someone's life, they're one step closer to using their gift to impact the lives of other people, and that's what I think most people who listen to this podcast, that's what their goal is to impact the lives of others, right? It's sort of a ripple effect. (07:05)• This podcast, my voice, has been heard by thousands of people. Did I ever think that would ever happened? My goal was to reach people, of course, but not only that, it's reached across the globe. It's been heard in Australia, New Zealand, Denmark, Ireland, Germany, Bosnia, India. When I started looking through this list of countries, I thought, Do I even know people there? Australia. I do, one of my good friends is there, but I'm like, How did it reach there, it's because somebody found value and shared it... I made a deposit and that deposit grew into reaching more people. So to look at that and realize that reach, it makes me excited to do even more. (8:19)• It's just going to come down to that. You're going to unleash your abundance. You're going to unleash greatness You're going to unleash your brave. You're going to unleash all the things that you've got inside of you that are just screaming to get out, so that you can live your best life and your family can live their best lives, and the lives that you deserve. And it's gonna build your strength past what you ever thought that it could ever be. (04:56)• I don't care what challenge it is in your life. If it involves another person, why hold onto the grudge? Why would you hold on and give that person your power when you can turn that around into fuel for you to be a better person, to be more than what they thought you could be and more than what you thought you could be. (06:24)• I was challenged to come out of this cocoon that I had been in. I was given the opportunity to do something more than what I was, being as a stay at home mom or as a housewife. I had something to share. I had a message I had things to accomplish. And you know what else? I had people that I didn't know at the time, but I had people that I was going to help get their wins. They have had terrible things happen in their lives. It's when we're all getting to know each other and we're sharing our stories. What created you? Do you have the doubts that it'll never go anywhere? I know that a lot of us that have experienced those doubts, but you gotta get rid of them. Do you settle for maybe just a couple hundred dollars a month, but you really want, in your heart, you really want a few thousand dollars a month? The couple of hundred dollars a month, hey, that works. But most people are going to want a little bit more, they're not going to turn it down. When I started my side gig, my goal was about 500 bucks a month, maybe 1000, that was my first goal, but what I needed was much more than that.SHOWNOTES:• Too many people are afraid of being successful, they're more afraid of being successful than they are a failure, it's really easy for us to accept failure, it's what we're conditioned for, we're conditioned for mediocrity. We're conditioned for failure, we're conditioned for just enough and just getting by. We're conditioned for paycheck to paycheck, we are conditioned for mediocrity, it's the whole try factor, you either do it or you don't. There really should be no try, either do it or you don't. (2:43)• If you listened to the podcast with Danelle Delgado a few weeks ago, her motto is, who loses if you don't win? If my friend Sheila wasn't determined to win, I'd still be losing right now, I might be winning a few things here and there, but I wouldn't be in the place that I'm in now. Who loses? If you don't win whose life can change because of your message, your product, your solution? I think that you're way more valuable than what you know, that determination is a strength, you've got to own it, find that determination, make sure you are determined to win. (06:30)• You've got something that somebody needs. You bring value to somebody. It's a network of people or maybe it's, for myself, each week I'm on this podcast, I'm just like, okay, just one person. If I could reach one person and flip a switch for them, give them an aha moment, give them whatever they need, whatever it takes to get over a hurdle, to get past an obstacle, to just conquer a challenge is in front of them. Just one person. I'm good. But I know that there's more. I know that there's more people that need to hear you. They need your message, they need your solution. (9:32)• You might not be fully aware of your value to other people, and that's okay, that's perfectly okay. But who's missing out by not hearing your message or not knowing of your product, of not knowing what your solution is to the issue or problem that they have? And we're gonna go. (07:25)• I need to bring that message to people, because when you get into that mode of poor me, or you grasp the negative, when you find or you start to go into your downward spiral, because I know that a lot of people do this because I used to. I used to and I hated it. SHOWNOTES:• It's a really interesting story. A lot of people come and ask us, Hey, so were you in the military? Were you in the police? Now, we have an interesting, interesting background as to how we got started in this. So, I grew up around firearms and it was something that I had gone out with my dad with and my grandpa, and when Becky, who's one of our instructors and also my wife, she had grown up on a ranch where the firearm was a tool, it was something that was used regularly. (3:34)• So, I've got these guys, they don't even like it, because it is scary, because you know what guns can do, you know that the guns don't do it themselves, they don't pull their own trigger, that is the misconceptions. I guess that is the message that I want to hear from you is, what do you think is the first part of getting past that fear so that you can be, so you can have that confidence and that fluent usability with a weapon? I think it comes down to education, which is kind of a broad subject, broad term, but what we've seen, for my own self, my own skills, as I've been introduced to new guns, as I've been teaching these classes, as I've seen all of the women that have come through our classes, really the biggest fundamental is education about how the gun works and what will make it fire, what won't make it fire, how to load and unload safely, and that foundation of the safety rules. (9:56)• We absolutely love her for the courage that she showed, these experiences here where people are breaking into their homes, they're hiding, they're hiding behind one woman who looks very nice, very well dressed up, that is in front of the peoples camera here, and they've got two other people that are hiding behind the door... Or hiding around the corner or something like that. Waiting for you to open up your door trying to help a well-dressed woman that's on your doorstep. And then once you open up the door, they try to push through and they've got spray paint, they're trying to blind you, or even fire arms, and they're trying to get in. (16:03)• They always give me a bad time, but they know, they know they always leave that seat available for me that's facing the door, But we went into this one restaurant once about a year or two ago, and I sat with my back to the door. But there was a group of police officers who were sitting, and I was facing the police officers, and the girls said, What's wrong, you're not sitting facing the door? And I'm like, But I'm facing them and if they move, like if something happens, they're going first, so I'm always that thinking forward. (30:50)• They get started with self-protection, and some of them, like you said earlier, are interested in overcoming their fear. We've had people say that, Hey, I've always wanted to try this, but I've been afraid to do so. My husband has firearms, I've never liked them, but I would never have come here except for someone was robbed or even killed a mile from my home. And so people are facing their fears, like Kelsey said, people are seeing some violence around them, that they are realizing that they are powerless to stop on their own. And they're seeing that in some cases, the emergency services are powerless to stop, and so they're saying, I need to protect myself against the violence. I want to really bring out something in you that's going to drive you forward and I want you to really reach down, I want you to grab on to your faith, I want you to grab on to your strength, because your strength comes from your faith as well. And, I want you to take that and I want you to run with it. And, I want you to not just grow, I want you to blossom.SHOW NOTES:• When I'm talking about my faith, I have a very, very deep belief, a deep, deep love and belief that God got me, and I trust that with my entire being, I trust that he's got me. I'm going to be provided everything that I need to survive. (04:24)• You're my leader now, right? Whatever it is, I'm in. I wasn't going to question anything, and I honestly I'm not positive, but I know that he heard me. I know that he heard me. This wasn't even part of my notes of what I was going to talk about, but clearly, this is what somebody needs to hear right now, because otherwise it wouldn't have come up. (06:45)• So, what I want to express today is that faith, you reaching inside, you reaching down deep down in your soul and bringing out that faith, bringing up that trust, and knowing you're going to be brought to wherever God wants you to be in your life. (09:59)• You gotta do something. It takes action, we've talked about action on this podcast so many times, everything is in the action. You can't have results without action. So, you have to take action in order to create your results, in order to reach your goals. So I want you to dig down in you, I want you to dig deep in your faith, I want you to believe that you can reach these goals with conviction, I want you to sit down, whether you have to pray about it or meditate about it. Write it down. I want you to be specific. I want you to make your plan. I want you to map it out. (1:57)• The start of the deception when it comes to money and how people think that money works and how our banking system works and how a fractional banking system is... I mean, some people don't know this, but your money is not in the bank, there's a fraction of your money in the bank. If everybody went to the bank and said, I want to get all my money out of here, you wouldn't be able to do it, and even though it's your money. You might, in some network marketing companies, in your first month or so, you can earn bonuses, I did. It actually changed the trajectory for me, I earned bonuses within my first couple of months, I earned a car bonus, which was definitely helpful in my situation. (03:10)• I don't care if it's a brick and mortar business, if it's an online business, if it's a boutique business, if it's a mobile business, if it's network marketing, you have to stay consistent in your actions. You have to be taking action every single day, because if you give up or your consistency breaks down, you don't get results. (05:35)• Whatever your product, your brand, your label, whatever it is that you want out there, you need to make sure that you get it out there enough to where people picture you when they hear that word. Many of you know my business, I'm a Thriver, I have my personal Thrive business. And there's another thing that's called the speed of the leader determines the speed of the team, not necessarily because there are people who are doing things on their time frame, there are people who are more confident than others, but you cannot be responsible for what those other people do. (3:35)• And this is something that is really, really, really important for you to know. And even in corporate America, same thing, there are people who are comfortable where they're at. Maybe they're at a desk and they are a receptionist and they don't want to do anything more than just that. But then comes a time when they are ready for more, they want to take on more responsibility, they want to grow, they want to advance in their career, and they're going to take steps in order to move forward. (6:10)• You stay in your own lane, don't worry about what those other people think of you, don't worry about it, because you are advancing in a way that you can, in the way that you're comfortable with. As long as you're doing it legit, as long as you are doing it in a way that you are helping other people grow, you are helping other people develop, that's where you're going to get the respect. (8:33)• And if somebody doesn't wanna build it, if somebody doesn't want to advance, it doesn't make you a bad leader, it just makes them not ready. Maybe it's not their cup of tea, maybe they're not ready to be a leader, but you can be a leader to them and everybody who is connected to them. (12:17)• There are leaders who don't want to talk to their team or they talk in a harsh way. They talk in a way that's demeaning, they talk in a way that makes other people feel bad, and they don't want to be part of that organization. They make them want to walk away from it. Why would you want to be part of an organization if you have no support or you've got somebody who's being rude to you? So I try to be the best listener and the best communicator that I possibly can, because that's really important. (16:41) WHEN DOES IT AIR...October 28, 2020

(4:11)• I don't want you to set yourself up for failure with doing something, just like with that hour-long exercise, and it might be too much for you, maybe you're too tired after even just 10 minutes, you can go with my friend Amanda's four-minute workout. So we're talking about these habits and starting to grow them small. (7:59)• You need to be adding connections every day. What I would recommend is each day, add one friend, just one friend, that's all you have to just one connection, maybe it's from a group, maybe it's from a networking group, maybe it's a group that you're in... we're all in a ton of groups, but you need to start building those connections. (8:58)• If you don't do it, if you don't follow through with your task, I don't consider that necessarily a failure. It's just practice. And then you start over, and when that 30 days, when you hit that 30 days through your win, there's your win. So those are my three tips for your creating good habits and implementing good habits. That is keeping it small so that they're achievable and they're not a turn off, it's not something that's overwhelming for you. (16:55)• Especially if you're working from home. It's really easy to fall into a trap of bad habits, it's easy for those good habits to kind of be set aside every once in a while. Maybe you let something slide, don't do that, because then that habit can then you're replacing a good habit with a bad habit and not just going backwards, you don't wanna do that, you want to be moving forwards at all times. Or, if it doesn't fit with you, then you don't do it, but there's no maybe. (4:16)• If you bad-mouth someone else, or if you... Let's talk about competition. This is what I do not like at all. Most of you know I'm a network marketing. You know what, I think we've got the best product. We've got the best product in health and wellness. Now, there's other health and wellness companies, do I think they're less than? Well, they must work for someone, because if they didn't, they wouldn't be our competition. Right? So I'm not going to say bad things about that company, I'm not going to say bad things about other people, because I'm a big believer in what comes around, goes around. (7:13)• What better teacher than somebody who can teach from their experience. Okay, let me see. I relate better when somebody has experienced something in their life and overcome it, and they can teach me from that experience. Not just something that... How do I say it? Not just something that they've read about, they actually experienced it. So when you have these skills, when you have experienced these things and overcome these challenges and you can be like, You know what, let's talk personal trainers, which I'm probably going to get some backlash on this, but I want you to hear me out. So when I am working with a personal trainer, if they've not experienced my setbacks, my challenges, maybe my eating habits, if they haven't experienced that, and then overcome it, if they did experience it, then they're going to help me overcome that. (9:39)• You're going to come out of this and you're going to be stronger, you're going to grow from it, you're going to grow personally, you're going to grow emotionally. You're going to be so much better at the end. This is something that you can teach so many people when you master that skill...This is a really good one, I love it. (13:12)• Honor those who have helped you. I love this because I love to honor the people that have helped me along the way. I want to share with you a story about this woman who helped me, I didn't even know her, and it has stuck with me ever since. And it's just like I said, I wouldn't talk to people. I was very negative, which if you know me now, I'm on the polar opposite of that. I was very negative. And my brother is the one who, he opened a gym and he knew how miserable I was, and he said, You know, you really should come in and work out, just super open, and I said, No, no, I'm not getting bulky because every girl thinks that they're going to get bulky, but most people that I train, don't want to be. (3:40)• I was a girl who just never worked out, I never... Like I said, I couldn't run the mile in high school, I couldn't... I couldn't even do that. And like I said, now I can run a half marathon, I can run... And it's one of the reasons I became a trainer is because the gym truly changed my life. And I feel like the gym is just a tool for me to get to people, to teach them how to really change their way, because anybody can work out, that's why people fall off, because anybody can work out. It goes so much deeper than that. (6:22)• You build a relationship with somebody and you tell them everything. I mean, you just do. And so I know the perfect time inside of the workout when they're exhausted, they're struggling because they're already broken down and in a vulnerable state, and I'll hit them with a question that is very personal. I've had people cry during workouts like, Why did you do this to me? And they say, I just came here to work out, and I say; No, you didn't come to me for that. (10:00)• It's life-changing for them, it has been for me as well, because I didn't have that, I didn't have somebody to help me. And so for me, that's why I became a trainer, I'm like, this changed my life. I can help people change their life through fitness, it just happens to be through working now. It's not just the working out, it just happened to be my avenue to help people, like my way of getting to people. (15:03)• I compare it to taking care of your car. Everybody loves their car. If you don't put gas in your car, what happens? It doesn't run. If you don't give your body healthy foods and exercise for a human body, and I'm not saying go balls out like I do, but I'm saying a human body has certain needs, it just has to have it to thrive. It just needs basic nutrition and basic exercise, and of course, keeping your mind clear and feeding it and doing all those things. That's what gets my creative juices flowing. We have to do these things in order to get to that higher level. (6:21)• Change the people that you interact with and change the people that you have conversations with. If there's somebody that you have conversations with who brings you down and they don't lift you up, limit your time with them. I'm not saying to cut them off, but I'm saying, Limit your time with them. (10:24)• I don't like to offend people, I like to make people think. But I know that I can gauge a conversation. If it looks like arguing, I'm like, alright, I'm out because it doesn't do anything, it doesn't do anything. But I'm going to respectfully take a step back, take my positive energy and redirect it somewhere else with something that I'm passionate about. Don't submerge yourself in that because it'll just keep spiraling down and spiraling down, and then you get pissed and then you're angry and then, guess what? Then you're the person in the office, or you're the person at home, that brings that negative energy and makes everybody else miserable. We don't like that, right? (14:28)• I want to hear from you. I want to know, what raises your vibe? And what are you going to do this week in order to raise it? Because it's contagious. We want everybody, but if we can collectively raise that vibe, I think there's going to be more happiness in the world. You know what? I don't think that, 'Oh, what can I do?' You can be something huge to somebody without even knowing it. If you go out and you raise your vibe, you might touch maybe 10 people. Then maybe those 10 people, touch another 10 people...it's that whole pay it forward thing. (23:08) WHEN DOES IT AIR...September 16, 2020

And there was another side of the story. It wasn't the parents, it was just because he was born blind, and we live this, this is kind of our lives sometimes, and the world side of a story. Especially the society that we live in right now, is that the world wants to blame shame and guilt, everyone, they want to find blame, shame and guilt in everything. Everywhere, all the time, right?(4:48)• I had to create a new narrative. I had to create my narrative because I knew that that really wasn't how my life was. So, when you break those changes, people are going to question that also. You know, they're going to say, you didn't achieve that. You know those haters that we talked about? It's like you got to get those out of your head. They'll let you know all the time. They'll try to bring you down.(7:49)• I will continue to accept the blessings that are thrown my way. I don't even know how you say that, because I don't want to say created, because I try to not say that I'm the one who created. But I'll tell you what, I am open to it. And it's so important for us to know what that story is. You don't need to convince anybody with any of the details, it's your story. And you lived it. (11:07)• You have to embrace your story because somebody needs to hear it. The details are going to be different though, like my details are going to be different than perhaps your details. And also, that's why the details don't matter. When I say I wasn't into drugs, maybe somebody was. Maybe you are a recovering addict, and maybe you're embarrassed of that, and you don't want to say that you were. But somebody else out there is, somebody is in that position, and that person needs to hear your story, that person needs to hear your story because that person needs to know that there's a way out. (15:55)• You can help them get out of that dark place. We're here on this planet to help other people naturally. It's human nature to help others, it really is. I know it's hard to believe right now, but it really, really is. It's in our nature, and that's why it's so chaotic now. Because somebody is trying to create a different narrative for us, and we need to fight against that. We need to create our own. So, know your story. Know the power of your story. And share your story.(19:48) WHEN DOES IT AIR...September 02, 2020

I don't want somebody to be offended by me saying that I'm in a great financial position. Am I proud of that? Hell yes, I am. And I should be. (5:33)• I'm constantly in a working and growth mode in order to move forward with my life. And every once in a while, something comes and gets me, so I'm not perfect in all of this, but I know that I have to have these conversations with myself on a regular basis to put myself in check. I know I've talked before about doing a self-audit... I do that. I do that sometimes. I'm like, 'Okay, well, what are you doing? Are you holding yourself back because of what other people are thinking? Or what other people are maybe doing, or not doing? Don't do that. Don't allow them to get in your way, because it really comes down to you. Especially if you are building a business of your own. (9:23)• I want my own freedom, but again, I don't fault someone else who does do that. But those people are going to say, 'Well, it's Friday night. Yeah, it's Friday night and I'm working, I'm working. There's people who go camping over the weekend, I'm working over the weekend. And I'm good with that. I'll take phone calls at 7 o'clock in the morning or 9 o'clock at night, whatever it is. And they're like, 'Oh, you're always working... Yeah, I am. Because I'm building an empire. My empire. When our kids are learning from home, they're not in school for six hours or seven hours. Whether it's in their room or in the dining room, or wherever you have them set up to be in there doing their online learning, then they're going to be in that area, but it's only going to be for two or three hours a day. It's not spaced out, there's not a PE class, there's not these things where everything is timed out in 40 minutes for a class, and a lot of it is recorded learning. (2:34)• So, what I have done is I have looked all over and done my research and found some things that I thought that I would share with you guys. We're going to have to be doing kind of like a double discipline in time. We're going to have to make sure that they are disciplined in their focus, and we're disciplined in ours as well. Because, hey, they're learning for us, you guys, they soak up everything. They are sponges, so we have to be that example. And if we don't discipline ourselves or anything, they're going to see that, and then they're not disciplined in their activities of what they're doing. So, while they're learning, it's time for us to work. (4:26)• I've told you guys that I have my gratitude journal. I keep my goals in there, I keep the 10 things each day that I'm thankful and grateful for. These are things that they should be doing on a regular basis, because the most successful people in the world do these things. Let me repeat that. The most successful people in the world keep journals with goals and things that they're grateful for, they start their day with what they're grateful for. (8:26)• So, this little garden that sits on my counter, it has a UV light and it's got these little pods with these dirt sponge things and the seeds go in these old dirt sponges, and I can grow whatever I want. So, downstairs on my kitchen counter, right now I have fresh basil. I have fresh thyme. I have fresh parsley. My Cilantro is just not coming up, so I don't know what's wrong with that. I've got Dill. These are things that I can grow in my house, obviously, I'm not going to be growing corn, it's not going to fit on my counter, but I can grow all kinds of herbs. Next, I'm going to throw in some cherry tomatoes in there. (12:45)• How many times do you go, 'Oh my God, I can't afford that right now?' I don't want my kids to live like that, I want them to have that emergency fund where they can take care of that, and then they build that emergency fund back up. I want them to save up money for the things that they want, the things that they need. I want them to be able to buy a car. I don't want them to have high interest rates, should they have to finance that car through the bank. If they can learn how to save enough money to pay cash for a car... Let's do it. You're not going to blast them on social media, because most likely you are a fair-minded person. You have an opinion, everybody is entitled to their opinion, but we have been conditioned in this society that you cannot speak your mind, and if you are a business owner, you have even less of a right to speak your mind. Let me tell you right now, that is not true. And you need people to trust you. (2:33)• How many of you guys have a My Pillow? Do you know how many I've got? I've got five My Pillows, and then two little ones, do you know why? It's not even that because they're comfortable. It's because I trust the guy. Well then, you know, I watch it for the summer, and then the following summer, just one year later, that little girl was a teenager and I'm like...What did I miss? So I am like, Holy cow. I don't know, I know that that's probably a stretch as mistress, but I'm like, Oh my gosh, what am I getting at... What am I getting myself into? They're the back stabbing, the women that are fighting over the men who are cheating, and there's a constant barrage of lies and things that make us not trust, that make us question everything that comes across our eyeballs. We need to not be that. (11:09)• Have you ever heard someone speak their mind? Have you ever heard someone speak their mind but get pushed back and then apologize because of the social media police? How many people do you know who have stood up for something that they believe in strongly, and then they come back and apologize for saying what they said or I shouldn't say saying what they said? Because sometimes, people do use really crappy wording, but if it's something that they truly believe in and they stand for, and then the social media police comes and says, you shouldn't think that way. And then they say, Oh, I'm sorry, I should have never said that. (15:16)• My kids know if I say no to something, they don't even... I'm not saying this to sound tough or sound like a bad ass or anything like that, when I say no, my kids know, don't ask again. But it's not that I've instilled in them some sort of fear, it's because I have instilled in them a respect. They respect my answer of No because I say yes to a lot, and when I say No, there's always a reason behind it, and they know that, and if they want to know the reason behind it, they don't even have to ask because I'm going to give them the reason. And let me tell you, it's not going to take just one person to get us out of this, it's not going to be one person, it's going to take us collectively to come together and start making ourselves heard, we need to speak for ourselves, we need to speak for the voiceless. They argue their point, like they're going to change somebody's mind. How do you change somebody's mind? Well, you change somebody's mind by being an example, you live the life that you want to live, live the way that you're going to live it, not for somebody else, and create an environment that the other person would want to have. But when you are somebody who is constantly doing that, and constantly arguing, it pushes the other person away.(11:32)• Let's go make a difference, we can be the change. And for a lot of people, it puts a strangle hold on you, it creates mental and emotional chains, like it grabs a hold of you and it does not let go. (06:21)• With faith comes power, and with fear comes paralysis. When you have faith in something, when you have a positive feeling about something, do you know how energized and exhilarated you feel? That's because you've got faith. (7:20)• We have to flush out darkness with light. The only way to do that is to focus on the light, the light is your blessings. The light is your positivity, the light is all of the amazing things that you have in your life, the light is your faith. If you're a spiritual person, if you're a faith based person, the light is your belief in God, your light is your belief in a higher power, that light is going to flush out any darkness and any fear that you have. So that is the only way that you're gonna do that is to focus on the light. Put your blessings and your positive thoughts in the spotlight, the easiest and fastest way to keep your focus on what is right and your gratitude, is to be journaling. (11:14)• If you do that daily for 90 days, see how your life and your outlook changes. 90 days, even 30 is going to make a difference. So, the 'I Choose Joy' journal that I use, it's a 90-day journal, and every 30 days there's a kind of a review of it for you to look back and see where you came from. Do it for 90 days. Can you even believe that? 22 years. Holy smokes. (02:42)• I realized that I have a job and I make this paycheck, but I want to make more and it's not out of greed, it's out of wanting to have, wanting to be able to put money. I wanted a savings, I wanted a retirement, I wanted those things that I feel our necessities. (04:11)• I was getting foreclosure notices on our house. I was getting shut off notices. I was trying to make sure payment arrangements with the power company, trying to figure out how I was gonna pay the water bill. (11:37)• My goal of that, I reached within my first month and a half, and that second full month I was able to get, I was able to get a car bonus, which was an extra $300, the auto bonus that we have, it's either $300 or $800. (17:07)• Within my first three years, I received a seven figure earner award and was the highest paid single mom in my company and that was quite an achievement. It did not come with, it did not come without hard work. (20:59) WHEN DOES IT AIR…June 17, 2020

I have about a year's worth of food supply that if I ran out of what I have in my refrigerator, my freezer, and all of that, if I ran out of all that I would still have about a year's worth of food supply for me and my girls. (06:58)• I want you to make sure that you are empowered in the sense that you can take care of yourself should something happen. If crap hits the fan who's going to be able to take care of you? The last couple of weeks we've seen so much unrest and the police are tied up and trying to stop what's happening or protect businesses and protect people, we are in a position where it's going to take a longer response for anybody to come help us. (9:28)• I think it was each month, I was for several months in a row I was purchasing a three months supply for me and my girls. Now, you can do what is best for you, but I would suggest you check out some different places. I know that there's several different food brands out there. I can't remember. There's one in particular that I have seen at Cabello and those kinds of places. (13:57)• I know that a lot of you who are listening, and I'm putting myself in there, because I have gone through it before. But what we deal with sometimes is people mocking us, we deal with people talking smack, we deal with negative comments on social media, we deal with our family who looks at a side eyed, like what do you...Oh, and the eye roles and all of that. You guys, I felt like that and I even got that. When I was married he thought that it was silly for me to prepare like that, you know, I called it being prepared, and he called it crazy. (16:21)• I'm hoping that you take one step into doing something to get yourself and your family ready and make sure that you guys are safe, that you can protect yourself, that you've got it all handled, as much as you can, to the best of your ability. It's confusing because we see one thing on TV and we see another thing when we go out into the real world. Have you ever noticed that? (04:33)• Do you know that working in your yard is the best way to become grounded? When you go out there and you're digging in the earth you're planting flowers, you're out there being grounded, you're in the ground. How many people get back to a sense of centeredness? You go out there and you feel productive when you do that. That is so important for us. (6:00)• I write things down, it has something...to me personally, it helps it stick in my brain, it hits me differently than when I'm typing it on my computer in my notes. So write it down, write in a book, write in a journal, write on a tablet. Maybe you want to do something for somebody else, maybe you want to help the neighbor, maybe there's an elderly neighbor that maybe can't work in their own yard, maybe you go work in theirs, maybe you go help them with that. Maybe it's even as little as helping your child with their homework, if they're still in school. (7:12)• I use the Calm App on my phone, and I go to the meditation section and I click on the sleep and it gives me all kinds of different options of sleep meditation. And it's soft music, there's one with the train sound, there's ocean waves, there's different options that it gives me...and I love them. I've done all of those different options and it walks you through with a voice. There's a person that's telling you how to relax each part of your body. And I'll tell you what, I am out within about two minutes. (9:16)• I want you to do something for yourself. This right here is so important for you, for your health, for your well-being right now. We've got to concentrate on that, we've got to take care of our minds, we've got to take care of our hearts. Okay, some people have hurting hearts right now, let's heal them. Healing yourself first. And if you're trying to move ahead of where you truly, are you miss what's supposed to be on your path, you miss your growth, you stunt your growth. So be okay with where you're at. If you have too many bills, you've lost your job, whatever it is, that might be where you are right now, but it doesn't mean that that's where you're going to stay. (05:09)• And when we're comparing ourselves to other people, we need to make sure that we remember that our path is our path. So your path isn't somebody else's path, and their path obviously isn't yours either, so don't compare yourself to anyone else because their path is different than yours. (8:03)• When I talk about winning, because I think just about every week on this podcast I talk about winning, winning in life. I was thinking about it, and I said, "You know what, when I talk about it, I'm not talking about the competition with others, I'm talking about competition with ourselves. (10:00)• Okay, so maybe you believe in a higher power, maybe it's not God himself, but there is a plan and you are not in control of the end plan, but you are in control of how you handle that which has been given to you. You are in total control of how you deal with the things that are brought to you, you are in control of staying on your own path. (11:14)• Every podcast that I record, every single week, I pray that it touches somebody. I pray that it falls on the ears of somebody that needs to hear this, that needs these words in their life. If that's you. I want to know, I want to know because I want to know that that happened to that one person, and if it's helpful to you. If you loved this, if it spoke to you, it's going to speak to somebody else because you're not alone. I want you to share it with somebody, tell somebody else about it. Here, I heard this today, I think it might help you out, and maybe we can spread that light all together. (13:03)WHEN DOES IT AIR...May 27, 2020
