Did you know that in the UK people from Black African, African Caribbean and South Asian backgrounds are at risk of developing type 2 diabetes 15 years earlier than Caucasian people. Rates of cardiovascular disease, the leading cause of death in the UK, is highest in the South Asian population. Confidence is something that most of us have struggled with at some point in our lives. It's one of those things that to some people seems to come so ready and naturally which can easily lead to feelings of comparison and inadequacy. Thankfully it is definitely something that can be worked on and improved to allow you to live your best life being the full version of you. In today's episode I was joined by Lauren Claire - a business and confidence coach as we delved into what it truly means to be confident and how to get there. We shared our own journey's with confidence and shared hacks on how to appear confident, even when you might still feel a long way off.
