How To Sell 10,000 Books ~ Guest Frank McKinley

Play Episode Listen Later Jan 26, 2018

Writing on Air Radio Show Can you imagine selling 10,000 books? How about 500? Join Carol and her Guest Frank McKinley as he shares his story about his books and how he came to sell over 20,000 copies!    Frank McKinley has been a writer since he could pick up a pen. When the boys his age were playing war with toy soldiers and pellet guns, he was designing magazines made of construction paper and crayons. Inside were articles, pictures, even ads! Writing allowed him to sort through his feelings as a troubled teenager. In high school, his poems won first prize in the annual Fine Arts Festival. As a young man, his writing even helped him win his wife!    Now, Frank McKinley is the author of 4 bestselling books, selling over 25,000 copies! He did without a blog, an audience, or an email list. Today he leads two Facebook groups and spends his time helping writers engage readers, sell their ideas, and build their tribes. He is also the host of the Thriving Writers Show on YouTube. When he’s not working, he loves coffee and good conversation.   You can find and connect with Frank at:  frank@frankmckinleyauthor.com https://www.frankmckinleyauthor.com/ https://www.facebook.com/FrankMcKinleyBooks/ https://twitter.com/Frank_McKinley https://www.instagram.com/frankmckinley/ https://www.amazon.com/Frank-McKinley/e/B00JPUV6V8 https://www.frankmckinleyauthor.com/blog/   Find Carol, more authors, book reviews & more at http://www.writingonair.net

A Writer’s Best Friends ~ Host Carol Glover

Writing on Air Radio Show Whoever said writing is a solitary act ... wasn't doing it right! Or they are the cliche tortured writer-type: alone in a cold, dimly lit room with a bottle of scotch close at hand and a haunted look in their bloodshot eyes. I'm not sure if the red eyes are supposed to be from drinking or lack of sleep.    If you'd rather not be THAT kind of writer, join me to discover what (and who) it takes to make writing a light, mostly enjoyable, life-giving craft.    For the aspiring writers, you just might find the inspiration to turn that dream of writing into a reality. At least you’ll discover that the craft of writing can be fun, life-altering and well worth the energy.   * DISCLAIMER - This show does not intend to belittle or invalidate your very serious, intense, often torturous - oh and solitary - experience of writing. If you like that ... you can keep it! My only intent is to offer you an alternative - to bring a little lightness and sustenance to your craft. *   Find Carol, more authors, book reviews & more at http://www.writingonair.net

Gail Alexander has been called many names by the people with whom she has worked: clairvoyant, medium, mystic, healer, therapist, artist, and intuitive. She is an Author, Multi-Dimensional Artist, Intuitive, Healer, and Therapist. Over the years she has been trained in many healing arts and traditions, as well as traditional psychotherapy. The Mandalas she creates have been likened to symbols, ancient knowledge, codes, healing conduits, portals, and guidance. The information she receives comes from your energy field, Spirit Team and spiritual helpers that are always with and around you. The knowledge or message (mandala/symbol) is translated by her using the principles of sacred geometry, unconditional love and light, which allows you to access more information for yourself. Gail’s Intuitive Energy readings and/or Akashic Record readings are similar and often validate what you already know to be true. The readings assist with building trust in yourself and how you work, learn and grow to become the most authentic, genuine version of you – you can be. “Sometimes we need a little reassurance and validation when accessing the information, remembering the magnificence of who you are and the abilities you have.” Gail is the Author of:  I Don’t Know How I Know. . .
