The pledge is to not boo or do anything negative for the entire first quarter. Joe Giglio and Hugh Douglas are pledging against the pledge, saying that the fans have the right to boo when it is warranted. Joe Giglio urges fans to be realistic and to cheer when necessary and boo when necessary. Hugh Douglas points out that more interceptions will happen when the offense tries to open up.
