Un impegno collettivo per mettere la persona al centro della cura: a Cagliari nasce una nuova alleanza per affrontare la sclerosi multipla con maggiore empatia, partecipazione e giustizia sociale In un momento storico in cui la medicina si confronta sempre più con l'urgenza di umanizzare la cura, da Cagliari arriva un segnale forte: dieci impegni concreti per migliorare la vita delle persone con sclerosi multipla e delle loro famiglie. Un'iniziativa che nasce da un'esigenza reale e condivisa: ripensare la sanità non solo come macchina di diagnosi e terapia, ma come sistema che ascolta, accoglie e accompagna chi vive una patologia cronica complessa. A promuovere questo patto sociale sono professionisti, pazienti, caregiver e istituzioni, uniti da una convinzione comune: nessuno dovrebbe sentirsi solo nel percorso di cura. La sclerosi multipla colpisce oltre 1.500 persone in Sardegna, una delle regioni con la più alta incidenza in Italia. Eppure, troppo spesso, chi convive con questa malattia si scontra con ostacoli, solitudine, difficoltà burocratiche e una sanità che non sempre sa rispondere con tempi e modi adeguati. Il documento dei dieci punti, redatto e condiviso pubblicamente a Cagliari, chiede un cambio di paradigma: non più pazienti trattati come numeri o casi clinici, ma cittadini con una storia, dei bisogni, dei sogni. Dieci punti per cambiare la rotta: dalla diagnosi al sostegno psicologico, un nuovo modello possibile Il cuore del patto ruota intorno a dieci azioni fondamentali. Si parte dal diritto a una diagnosi rapida e chiara, per poi sottolineare l'importanza della presa in carico multidisciplinare, del sostegno psicologico, della continuità assistenziale e di un sistema sanitario che agisca per davvero come rete. L'accesso semplificato alle cure, l'eliminazione delle liste d'attesa per esami e terapie, la valorizzazione del ruolo del caregiver e una comunicazione empatica sono solo alcune delle richieste emerse. C'è anche spazio per l'inclusione lavorativa, l'autonomia personale e il riconoscimento del vissuto dei pazienti come parte integrante della terapia. Le associazioni che hanno aderito chiedono un dialogo stabile con la sanità pubblica e un investimento concreto in formazione professionale per il personale medico e sanitario. L'obiettivo non è soltanto garantire una buona cura, ma costruire un clima di fiducia, prossimità e comprensione. Cagliari come laboratorio di buona sanità: quando il territorio diventa alleato delle persone Cagliari diventa così il punto di partenza di un modello replicabile: un patto che può ispirare altre città e regioni. Non si tratta di un'iniziativa simbolica, ma di una presa di posizione concreta per cambiare i processi e mettere le persone al centro. Una sanità più umana è possibile solo se chi la vive in prima persona viene ascoltato e coinvolto nelle scelte. Il messaggio lanciato da Cagliari parla di responsabilità collettiva, e coinvolge medici, infermieri, amministratori, famiglie e pazienti. Tutti chiamati a fare la propria parte.

Unfortunately, he forgot to keep the spare tyre.The coachman said politely, “I can take you to the town. Please sit in the carriage.”The farmer and his family couldn't leave an offer like and thanking the coachman climbed onto the carriage.Off they all went clippety-clop, clippety-clop!The coachman asked on the way, “Where do you want to go in the city?”“We are going to the circus!” Shrieked the children in excitement.“Wow! I think they would love them.”“That's a great idea!” Camy said and took out some carrots from the basket and gave them to the horses, “Thank you very much for bringing us to the circus dear horses!”With a big smile on their faces, they bought the tickets and some people dressed as caterpillars showed them their seats.Soon the circus started with a clown wearing colourful outfit riding his cycle that had just one wheel.“That's called a unicycle!' father told the children.He had a cane in his hand and did funny tricks that made the whole audience roar out in laughter.Then, there were the acrobats. The children were awestruck by their balancing acts.Soon there was a short break. By now the children were hungry and they ate the cake and farmer bought them caramelized popped corn.There were many other performances and the farmer's family had a great time at the circus. So did alphabet C.When the circus finished, the farmer took a car mechanic who took them in his car and repaired the tyre.They thanked the car mechanic.“All is well that ends well!” exclaimed Alphabet C as they drove back to the farm.Hello Children! Luis Cocco has done it again with another 200+ mile feat, from last year's HERO 200 in his dojang to now the Lollipop 240! Luis officially finished the Lollipop 240 in 4 Days, 8 Hours, and 32 minutes! A journey took from the beach at Hobe Sound onto the Ocean to Lake Trail, circumnavigating Lake Okeechobee and back onto the Ocean to Lake Trail and back to where it all started on the beach at Hobe Sound. Luis battled the elements from thunderstorms to racing a prescribed burn! Regardless of what was thrown at him, he got it done! Luis has a lot of 100-mile experience having done the Daytona 100, Iron Horse 100, Keys 100, the Pier-to-Pier 200k, the Long Haul 100, the Lost 118, and the Vero Octopus 100! He's also done Badwater Salton Sea and the Lake to Ocean 100 (Winter Edition), as well as his 200 miles at Hero Martial Arts running 9,696 laps (48.5 laps per Mile) on his 108.9167 foot course.  Another big factor into this Lollipop 240 was raising money for the Cypress Creek Bridge Restoration Project. The Loxahatchee Chapter of the Florida Trail Association built and continues to maintain this 61-mile trail in Southeast Florida. Due to flooding this past fall the Cypress Creek Bridge is in dire need of rehabilitation. To date of posting, he has raised $10,026 to help rebuild the bridge out there! For over 25 years Ali Cocco spent her career surrounded by brilliant and charismatic sales leaders and had the opportunity to represent global media brands like MTV, Discovery, Comedy Central, Paramount, TLC, and Nickelodeon, to name a few. Argentine artist Jorge Cocco Santángelo has long been admired for combining cubism and sacred subjects in his paintings. But Latter-day Saints may not realize that Jorge, a convert who was baptized in 1962, introduced the Church to an entirely new style and forged the path for other artists to portray the sacred in different ways. His paintings, frequently displayed in the Church History Museum and known for their rich colors and angular shapes, are often of Bible scenes or the Savior Himself.
