We look ahead to the rematch with Jaxson Dart and the upstart Giants, this Sunday, 1PM, at the Linc. Jalen Hurts put on a show in Minnesota with a perfect passer rating, and facing the human implosion known as Carson Wentz did not hurt one bit. The red zone defense has been near the top of the NFL and is why this team stands at 5-2, despite being yet to play a complete football game in all phases. With the meat of the season coming, the stretch run into winter, November through January, the evolution of the offense will continue to take shape as we approach the return of Playoff Jalen. Heading into the bye at 6-2 is crucial. The Sixers have a new star among them named VJ Edgecombe, who broke Allen Iverson's franchise record for points scored in a debut. The backcourt is now among the NBA's top duos. A quality win to start the season in Boston should do wonders for the trajectory of this Sixers season.
