Today's 94 WIP Midday Show is continuing with decision week as today's topic surrounds A.J. Brown and his immediate future with the team. Hugh Douglas wants Brown back because he is a once in a generation talent and that he is not wrong to say that the Eagles offense was dysfunctional last year. Joe Giglio wants Brown gone because he is not the same player that he used to be and that he is not worth the headache anymore. Rob Thompson interestingly said the Phillies are better this year than they were at this point last year. Jason Avant and Eliot Shorr-Parks joined the program to discuss the Eagles offseason outlook!

In hour 1, the 94 WIP Midday Show question whether or not they want A.J. Brown back on the Eagles for the 2026 season. Joe Giglio is dead set on not wanting him back next year, pointing to his decline as a player and his frustration-antics that have plagued the team in recent years. Hugh Douglas says that Brown's frustration is warranted and that he only comes out to the media because he wants the team to fix their issues and succeed. The famous Hugh's Clues segment may be making a return.

In hour 2, Jason Avant joined the 94 WIP Midday Show to talk about the Eagles as they continue their offseason. He had some interesting things to say about A.J. Brown, namely that he is hard to please and very unpredictable. Avant says that he would get rid of Brown if money and contracts were not involved. He also made it clear that teams can win a Super Bowl without special QB play. Rob Thompson says that the Phillies are better at this point this year than they were last year.

In hour 3, Eliot Shorr-Parks joined the 94 WIP Midday Show to discuss the Eagles. He speaks highly of Jalen Hurts as he defends his top 20 QB's list. He says that there are many teams around the NFL that would be happy to trade for Hurts. He also discusses A.J. Brown as the offseason rolls along. He admits that it is a tough situation and that there are plenty of risks involved whether they trade Brown or not.

In hour 4, the 94 WIP Midday Show reacted to audio of a Boston radio station that had an interesting issue with the Super Bowl Halftime Show. They also reacted to some news in the baseball world and the NL East in particular. Zack Wheeler is doing something very interesting after his surgery to remove a blood clot. Listen at the end for the You People segment!

The 94 WIP Midday Show are reacting to news of Zack Wheeler keeping his rib that was removed during his thoracic outlet syndrome (TOS) surgery. Also, there is more news around the NL East that certainly benefits the Phillies. Mets infielder Fransisco Lindor and Braves RP Spencer Schwellenbach are both dealing with injuries that will affect their respective teams.

Eliot Shorr-Parks joins the 94 WIP Midday Show as Decision Week rolls on. He says that it would be easy to convince the majority of team owners and coaches to trade for Jalen Hurts. He also says that it is an extremely tough question when asked if he wants A.J. Brown back on the Eagles in 2026. He also says that the QB play in the league is lower than it has been in a long time.

The 94 WIP Midday Show is evaluating what the Eagles might get in return if they were to trade A.J. Brown. Hugh Douglas says that the Eagles will certainly pick up the phone but will not be able to bring themselves to trade him. Joe Giglio would be shocked if the Eagles do not accept a first round pick for him mainly because his best playing days are behind him.

Jason Avant joins the 94 WIP Midday Show to discuss the Eagles offseason outlook. On the topic of A.J. Brown, Avant says that Brown is very unpredictable and has a personality that is hard to please. He says that he would get rid of Brown if money had nothing to do with the situation. He also says that it is entirely possible to win the Super Bowl without dynamic QB play. Avant was at first very confused with the Sean Mannion hiring.

The 94 WIP Midday Show are reacting to comments made by Phillies manager Rob Thompson after he said that the Phillies are in a better spot right now than they were at this time last year. Them failing to get Bo Bichette and then immediately pivoting back to JT Realmuto may show that the Phillies themselves don't even believe that.
