Today's 94 WIP Midday Show is debating whether or not this Sunday's matchup against the Cowboys is a trap game for the Eagles. Joe Giglio believes that it is a trap game, while Hugh Douglas thinks otherwise. AJ Brown was asked more questions about himself and the offense, and made some interesting comments regarding Saquon Barkley and Kevin Patullo. Jalen Hurts has not been featured in the run game as often as he has in recent years, and there is conversations of whether he should start running more. It certainly appears that the Eagles do not necessarily view the Cowboys as a different game, dismissing the idea that it is a rivalry. Based on the referee assignment, the Eagles could be saved this Sunday. Kyle Schwarber is seemingly trying to link himself with his hometown Cincinnati Reds in free agency. In hour 1, the 94 WIP Midday Show debate whether or not the Eagles are in for a trap game against the Cowboys on Sunday. Joe Giglio thinks it is, pointing to Lane Johnson's absence and Dak Prescott's impressive home NFC East record as reason. Hugh Douglas does not think that it is a trap game, but admits that the team has been very dysfunctional this season. He says that winning is the bottom line, but the team still has to be better. The Cowboys are a much different team from when they last played the Eagles in week 1, and their offense has been extremely strong this season. It will be a big test for an Eagles defense that has dominated teams in recent games.

In hour 2, the 94 WIP Midday Show are continuing to discuss Eagles-Cowboys this Sunday. AJ Brown had media availability on Thursday and gave more insights into his mindset on his season and the offense. Hugh Douglas thinks that Brown is trying to help the team and make them better, but his message is getting lost in translation. Jalen Hurts' role in the run offense has decreased significantly this season and Joe Giglio wants to see him run more starting against the Cowboys. Hurts could potentially be running less because he and the coaching staff want to protect him and keep him healthy.

Joe Giglio does not feel like the current generation of NFL players care about rivalries anymore and that it meant more to the players of past times. Joe Giglio is not a fan of this development, saying it's making him nervous and jealous. As for the Eagles, Joe admits that if this game were a month ago he would have a much better feeling about playing the Cowboys. Joe Giglio is disappointed and feels that the rivalry used to be more of a "thing", and wishes there was more hate between the two teams than there has been in recent years. Hugh Douglas refuses to believe that these current Eagles players do not feel any different playing the Cowboys from another team.

The 94 WIP Midday Show are discussing whether or not Jalen Hurts should run the ball more against the Cowboys on Sunday. Hurts has run the ball noticeably less than in recent years, and it is tough to tell if that is by design or by happenstance. Joe Giglio wants to see Hurts run more because the offense does not do anything well and they need to try anything to improve. Hugh Douglas goes with the cliched saying that he just wants to see Hurts do whatever it takes to win. At the end of the day, it is undeniable that the Eagles offense needs to start scoring more points.

The 94 WIP Midday Show are reviewing AJ Brown's media availability from Thursday, and he had some more answers in regards to himself and the state of the Eagles offense. He disagrees with the notion that he is not the same player that he used to be. He also redirected a question on the offense to Kevin Patullo. Hugh Douglas speculates that Brown is continuing to put the struggles on Jalen Hurts who appears to be playing too conservative. He also says that fans continue to be frustrated at Brown's actions because it is reminding them of the drama with Terrell Owens from the early 2000's.
