The Eagles completed an interview of Bobby Slowik on Friday. The Sixers won an exciting game on Thursday against the Rockets and are really starting to gain fan momentum. The Broncos and Patriots are trash talking before the AFC Championship Game. Jack Fritz joins the show for a wellness check. In hour 1, the 94 WIP Midday Show begged the question of if Jalen Hurts should sit in on meetings with potential offensive coordinator candidates. Joe Giglio thinks that he should because it could be a good look for Hurts and it could eliminate any uncertainty about only doing things the way that he wants them done. Hugh Douglas fears that if he does have a say, it could create friction with other star players like Saquon Barkley, Lane Johnson, and others. Mike McDaniel interviewing for the Bills head coach vacancy has completely killed the idea that he only wants to coach in warm weather. It is clear that he simply did not want to coach here in Philadelphia.

In hour 2, the 94 WIP Midday Show react to a huge Sixers win against the Rockets last night. They have been impressive this season thanks to the immediate impact of rookie V.J. Edgecombe. Joel Embiid has also looked very good and it is making fans excited. Hugh Douglas says that people should start paying more attention to them. Part of the reason why this season has been fun for fans is because the expectations were low. The guys would not trade V.J. Edgecombe for Giannis Antetokounmpo. Listen for the reaction as Jalen Hurts did not make the top 100 NFL players list for the 2025 regular season

In hour 3, the 94 WIP Midday Show announce news that the Eagles interviewed Dolphins passing game coordinator Bobby Slowik to potentially be the new offensive coordinator in Philadelphia. Also, the Broncos and Patriots are about to square off in the AFC Championship game and are doing quite a bit of trash talking in the build-up to it.

In hour 4, the 94 WIP Midday Show checked in on another WIP personality Jack Fritz after he had a rough couple of days regarding the Phillies. The Phillies missed out on Bo Bichette and watched as their division rival New York Mets got significantly better. During this week's Guess the Takes segment, Hugh Douglas and Joe Giglio disagree on an NFC QB. Kyle Quinn claims the NFL has a parity problem. Listen at the end for the You People segment, as well as NFL championship wekeend & snowstorm predictions!

Hugh Douglas says that Jalen Hurts needs to be challenged a little bit more.

The 94 WIP Midday Show are discussing a potential trade that has circulated the NBA involving sending V.J. Edgecombe to the Bucks in exchange for Giannis Antetokounmpo. The guys are in agreement that they would not get rid of Edgecombe saying that he is exciting and it is worth seeing what the Sixers have in him. It would also ruin the great relationship that Edgecombe and Tyrese Maxey have built.

The 94 WIP Midday Show are reacting to a list of the top 100 NFL players during the 2025 regular season. There is always much conversation about Jalen Hurts so many people will wonder where he winds up on the list. Joe Giglio and Hugh Douglas agree that you can't win or lose in football because of one individual player. When Hurts plays well, he is loved. But when he plays poorly, he is criticized.

The 94 WIP Midday Show continue to discuss whether or not Jalen Hurts should have a say in who the Eagles hire as new offensive coordinator. Hugh Douglas says that the bottom line is that the offense was not good enough this year and drastically underachieved. Hurts was not the entire problem but certainly had a major role in the offensive struggles. It is debatable that he does not have any leverage and could create friction with other players if Hurts has a say in the new OC.
