The movie follows a rookie New Orleans police officer who is forced to balance her identity as a black woman after she witnesses two corrupt cops committing murder. The random topic this week is why Black people have largely sat out the major national protests that are happening in response to Donald Trump's disastrous first few months in office trying to implement his MAGA agenda. From financial upheaval to draconian immigration policies, the last few months have been nothing shy of awful. So why are Black people staying home? We give our thoughts.

Things continue to get worse for the Philadelphia 76ers as Tyrese Maxey leaves the game in the third quarter with a back contusion after a hard fall to the floor and did not return. Before Maxey exited the game, his shooting struggles continued as it appeared that the injured pinky on his shooting hand was impacting how he played in his 23 minutes of run. Maxey finished with 5 points and 6 assists in the 76ers' 119-102 loss to the Portland Trailblazers.

The Philadelphia 76ers' losing streak is now up to four after another frustrating loss -- this time to the visiting Toronto Raptors, 106-103. Sixers' star guard Tyrese Maxey struggled mightly in the game, finishing with just five points on 1-9 shooting and 1-7 from behind the three-point line in 32 minutes. Joel Embiid put together a 27-point, 12-rebound line, but had a costly turnover with the 76ers down 105-103 with eight seconds remaining on the game clock.
