Joe Giglio says that the moves Roseman made in the offseason were reasonable but did not work out. He also says Roseman is a great GM but has not had a good season.
The 94 WIP Midday Show is discussing Kyle Schwarber's free agency and wondering how many years the Phillies are willing to give him. Hugh Douglas would give Schwarber 6 years and trusts that he will not regress over that time. Joe Giglio says that 5 years is the highest he will go and that anything higher will be a lot for a designated hitter. With Bryce Harper also getting older, he will probably transition into a designated hitter role as well. Also, more Eagles-Packers discussions.
The 94 WIP Midday Show are looking at the AJ Brown trade rumors from before the trade deadline and debating whether or not the rumors were even real. The Eagles usually handle player drama situations pretty well.

The 94 WIP Midday Show continues to discuss the possibility of the Eagles trading for Myles Garrett. Hugh Douglas fears that trading so many first round picks for one player could not work out and does not make sense. These rumors also show that the Eagles may not be planning to pay Jalen Carter this offseason after all.

Joe Giglio is extremely on-board, stressing that there would be no bigger boost in football than getting Garrett. Hugh Douglas isn't so sure that the deal could even happen. Would you trade 3 first round picks for Garrett?
The 94 WIP Midday Show talks about how this offseason could shape up for the Eagles if they acquire Myles Garrett at the trade deadline. It seems likely that AJ Brown will not be on the team next year, and while it might be smart to give Jalen Carter his big extension, the Eagles could delay that and pick up his 5th year option. Hugh Douglas, still nervous to do the deal and trade draft picks, makes the point that what Howie Roseman does best is build for the future through the draft.

In hour 1, the 94 WIP Midday Show raised the question: Do you need style points in an Eagles win Sunday, or would you simply be happy with any type of win? Joe Giglio emphasizes the need to dominate, stating the Eagles have yet to do what other great teams do, which is blowout inferior teams. Although the Giants have a poor defense, Hugh Douglas would still be happy with just a win.
Today's 94 WIP Midday Show raises the point of whether or not the Eagles need style points in a win on Sunday. Joe Giglio wants to see a blowout, while Hugh Douglas would be happy with just a win. Dave Dombrowski seemed to take a step back from his comments on Bryce Harper earlier this offseason.
