In hour 3, the 94 WIP Midday Show look at the recent comments made by Eagles players that appear to dismiss the idea that the Eagles and the Cowboys are rivals. Joe Giglio does not feel like the current generation of NFL players care about rivalries anymore and that it meant more to the players of past times. Hugh Douglas can attest, saying that when he was playing the Cowboys it had a much different feel than any other game. Based on the referee assignments, the Eagles will either be saved or screwed Sunday. Tune in to find out which one it is!
Today's 94 WIP Midday Show is debating whether or not this Sunday's matchup against the Cowboys is a trap game for the Eagles. Joe Giglio believes that it is a trap game, while Hugh Douglas thinks otherwise. AJ Brown was asked more questions about himself and the offense, and made some interesting comments regarding Saquon Barkley and Kevin Patullo. Jalen Hurts has not been featured in the run game as often as he has in recent years, and there is conversations of whether he should start running more. It certainly appears that the Eagles do not necessarily view the Cowboys as a different game, dismissing the idea that it is a rivalry. Based on the referee assignment, the Eagles could be saved this Sunday. Kyle Schwarber is seemingly trying to link himself with his hometown Cincinnati Reds in free agency. Listen in the last hour for this week's edition of Guess the Takes, and today's segment of You People.
In hour 1, the 94 WIP Midday Show debate whether or not the Eagles are in for a trap game against the Cowboys on Sunday. Joe Giglio thinks it is, pointing to Lane Johnson's absence and Dak Prescott's impressive home NFC East record as reason. Hugh Douglas does not think that it is a trap game, but admits that the team has been very dysfunctional this season. He says that winning is the bottom line, but the team still has to be better. The Cowboys are a much different team from when they last played the Eagles in week 1, and their offense has been extremely strong this season. It will be a big test for an Eagles defense that has dominated teams in recent games.
In hour 2, the 94 WIP Midday Show are continuing to discuss Eagles-Cowboys this Sunday. AJ Brown had media availability on Thursday and gave more insights into his mindset on his season and the offense. Hugh Douglas thinks that Brown is trying to help the team and make them better, but his message is getting lost in translation. Jalen Hurts' role in the run offense has decreased significantly this season and Joe Giglio wants to see him run more starting against the Cowboys. Hurts could potentially be running less because he and the coaching staff want to protect him and keep him healthy.
On this week's edition of Guess the Takes on the 94 WIP Midday Show, Joe Giglio makes a bold statement about an NFL team that is sitting near the top of the league. Hugh Douglas has faith in a young QB who is about to make a milestone start. Kyle Quinn thinks this AFC team is set to go on a late-season run. Also, Nick Sirianni had interesting comments when asked about Dak Prescott's impressive home record against the NFC East.
The 94 WIP Midday Show are reacting to comments made by Eagles players who seemingly dismiss the idea that the Eagles and the Cowboys are rivals. It appears that the players believe the rivalry talk is more for the fans to have. Joe Giglio is disappointed and feels that the rivalry used to be more of a "thing", and wishes there was more hate between the two teams than there has been in recent years. Hugh Douglas refuses to believe that these current Eagles players do not feel any different playing the Cowboys from another team.
The 94 WIP Midday Show are discussing whether or not Jalen Hurts should run the ball more against the Cowboys on Sunday. Hurts has run the ball noticeably less than in recent years, and it is tough to tell if that is by design or by happenstance. Joe Giglio wants to see Hurts run more because the offense does not do anything well and they need to try anything to improve. Hugh Douglas goes with the cliched saying that he just wants to see Hurts do whatever it takes to win. At the end of the day, it is undeniable that the Eagles offense needs to start scoring more points.
The 94 WIP Midday Show are reviewing AJ Brown's media availability from Thursday, and he had some more answers in regards to himself and the state of the Eagles offense. He disagrees with the notion that he is not the same player that he used to be. He also redirected a question on the offense to Kevin Patullo. Hugh Douglas speculates that Brown is continuing to put the struggles on Jalen Hurts who appears to be playing too conservative. He also says that fans continue to be frustrated at Brown's actions because it is reminding them of the drama with Terrell Owens from the early 2000's.
On today's show, the WIP Midday Show are discussing the drama going on within the Eagles. Are you worried this drama within the Eagles can destroy the season? Plus, Hugh Douglas officially launches his campaign for Eagles insider of the year after Derek Gunn called him a trusted insider. As well as, Rhea Hughes joining the show with an interesting take on the Jalen Hurts, A.J. Brown drama, another combocon, former players opinions on the drama, and more!
It's time for the weekly midday show QB power rankings and this time Hugh Douglas has cooked truly the worst QB power rankings of the season if not all time! Find out this terrible list of NFL QBs.
Hugh Douglas in continuing to talk about the offense believes the Eagles can only get better offensively. Do you believe the Eagles will improve offensively before the end of the season?
The Midday Show Team listens to the Big Hugh Breakdown, as Hugh Douglas gives his takes from this week. They talk about how Kevin Patullo has been coaching and if he should continue to call the plays for the Eagles.
In hour 2, the 94 WIP Midday Show question which of the two star Eagles wide receivers should get more targets against the Lions on Sunday. Joe Giglio thinks DeVonta Smith has become the better receiver and that AJ Brown has lost a step over the years. Hugh Douglas wants to see Brown get more targets to settle the tense situation at the moment. Also, the game on Sunday has a great impact on what the NFC playoff picture will eventually look like. Both the Eagles and the Lions need to win this game to increase their chances of being the number 1 seed.
The 94 WIP Midday Show are discussing the huge matchup on Sunday night between the Eagles and the Lions. Joe Giglio is expecting the Eagles to win the game because the Lions play mostly man-to-man coverage on defense which the Eagles can expose. Nakobe Dean's return and skills in the run defense could make the Lions one-dimensional. Hugh Douglas thinks that the Lions will win because they have the best offense in the league. The Lions will definitely be hungry for this game because they feel they missed their shot against the Eagles in last year's playoffs.
The 94 WIP Midday Show are looking into an apparent meeting that was held at Eagles practice on Thursday between Big Dom DiSandro, AJ Brown, and Jeffrey Lurie. It was reported that the meeting was very positive as the team tries to navigate the tough situation that AJ Brown and the team are in. Discussing Eagles-Lions, Hugh Douglas says that he doesn't feel the Eagles are better than the Lions and that they are evenly matched. Joe Giglio says that Nick Sirianni needs to find his guts again because Lions coach Dan Campbell is very aggressive.
The 94 WIP Midday Show are debating whether AJ Brown or DeVonta Smith should get more targets on Sunday against the Lions. Hugh Douglas wants to see Brown get more targets so we can figure out what exactly his situation is. Joe Giglio thinks Smith is the clear number 1 wide receiver on the team and should get more targets. It is certainly arguable that DeVonta Smith is having a top-10 season, and it will be interesting to see how the team continues to handle this season.
The 94 WIP Midday Show are listening to a story that Lions Head Coach Dan Campbell told about his experiences playing in Philadelphia as a player. It definitely seems that Campbell might need to be fact checked as Hugh Douglas and Joe Giglio question the validity of some of the remarks.
In hour 4, the 94 WIP Midday Show wrap up their final thoughts on the huge matchup this Sunday night between the Eagles and the Lions. Joe Giglio gets into a heated argument with a caller about the AJ Brown situation, saying that he only cares about winning his matchup and getting stats. In this week's Guess the Takes segment, Hugh Douglas has a bold prediction for an NFC East team. Kyle Quinn says not to write off a certain AFC team just yet. Listen at the end for today's segment of You People, as Joe, Hugh, and Kyle catch some heat from the YouTube live stream chat!

The Lions are coming into this game extremely motivated saying that it is a must-win for them. Joe Giglio expects the Eagles to win while Hugh Douglas thinks Detroit will come out on top. In practice on Thursday, there was a meeting between Big Dom DiSandro, AJ Brown, and Jeffrey Lurie that was positive in clearing the air after Brown's comments about the team earlier this week. It is undoubtedly a huge game for both teams as the NFC playoff race heats up.
Ike, Spike and Fritz play audio from the WIP Midday Show where Hugh recklessly speculates on the root of A.J.'s unhappiness and if it has to do with his relationship with Jalen Hurts.
Talking about how DeVonta Smith has been the better more open receiver this season. Hugh Douglas makes a point when you make a financial commitment to a player you must throw him the ball.

The 94 WIP Midday Show are looking at the AJ Brown trade rumors from before the trade deadline and debating whether or not the rumors were even real. Brown was not traded, but Hugh Douglas thinks that trade talks definitely happened. Joe Giglio says that the Eagles probably had real thoughts of trading Brown because it is clear he is not happy. The Eagles usually handle player drama situations pretty well.
In hour 1, the 94 WIP Midday Show are discussing whether or not the Eagles are being disrespected heading into their showdown on Monday night with the Packers. Vegas currently has the Eagles as underdogs in the game. Joe Giglio thinks that it is fair and that the Eagles will still probably win the game. Hugh Douglas thinks that the Eagles should be favorited and does not think the Packers are a very good team. On TryDay Friday, the guys talk about past trends that they are embarrassed to have taken part in. Jaire Alexander and Jaelan Phillips are both excited after being traded to the Eagles.
In hour 2, the 94 WIP Midday Show discussed how AJ Brown was not traded at the trade deadline despite a whirlwind of rumors. There is now debate of whether those rumors were real or fake. Joe Giglio and Hugh Douglas agree that the Eagles definitely had conversations with other teams since Brown has shown that he is not happy this season. Also, Kyle Schwarber is a free agent, and there is a lot of speculation about how many years his next contract will be. Hugh would be willing to give Schwarber 6 years, but Joe would only go as high as 5 years.
The 94 WIP Midday Show is discussing how Eagles-Packers on Monday night may cause some trouble for a large chunk of viewers. With YouTube TV and ESPN still in disagreement, there will be many people who may not be able to watch the game. Also, more discussion on the game itself, as well as Spike Eskin vs Mike Mayock.
The 94 WIP Midday Show react to WIP host Spike Eskin and former NFL GM Mike Mayock after they got a little heated in a debate about Howie Roseman. Hugh Douglas praises Roseman for always being flexible and being okay with his mistakes. He also says that giving Roseman the benefit of the doubt for mistakes is too much to ask for. Joe Giglio says that the moves Roseman made in the offseason were reasonable but did not work out. He also says Roseman is a great GM but has not had a good season.
The 94 WIP Midday Show is discussing Kyle Schwarber's free agency and wondering how many years the Phillies are willing to give him. Hugh Douglas would give Schwarber 6 years and trusts that he will not regress over that time. Joe Giglio says that 5 years is the highest he will go and that anything higher will be a lot for a designated hitter. With Bryce Harper also getting older, he will probably transition into a designated hitter role as well. Also, more Eagles-Packers discussions.
The 94 WIP Midday Show are discussing the Eagles being slight underdogs against the Packers on Monday Night Football. Is this disrespectful to the Eagles, who are very rarely underdogs? Joe Giglio says that the line is fair and that he understands why the Eagles are underdogs. Hugh Douglas is surprised and thinks the Eagles should be favorited in the game. Jalen Hurts and Jordan Love receive comparisons on who is better.
Hugh Douglas, on with the 94 WIP Morning Show, talks about the state of the Eagles' Edge Rusher position. What happens to Jihaad Campbell now that Jaelan Phillips is here?
