The Knicks just miss out on beating a top team in the NBA, but there is no doubt in Craigs mind that the Knicks can hang. Plus, Let's name that number and A millionaire idea! After a long conversation about the worse possible way to die, which is clearly on the toilet, we explore the Mount Rushmore of Dicks! It's now back to back days where Ryan McMahon is getting the start at shortstop. Is this just for fun? And why is Alex Rodriguez at the White House? And why is he such a bad tipper? After a long debate over Saving Silverman and Big Lebowski on whether or not the films are overrated, Craig and Big Mac find out that the Dolphins are looking to trade Tua AND a 1st round pick! Should the Jets think about this trade?

Send a textWhat does it biblically look like to be a mum—especially when you're tired, overwhelmed, and pulled in ten directions? Leah (Raising Disciples) talks practical discipleship, routines that reduce chaos, decision-making around work vs home, and a biblical framework for discipline that aims at restoration (not payback).Key takeawaysDiscipleship at home has two streams: explicit (Bible teaching) and implicit (culture, modelling, prayer, everyday life).“Consistently average” discipleship is often more faithful than sporadic intensity.Reading the 'actual' Bible with kids matters long-term: habit, exposure, and letting God's Word do the work.Routine can be freeing when the goal is minimising chaos (not performing womanhood online).Work vs staying home isn't a righteousness scoreboard—start with faithfulness, motives, and realistic time/energy.Discipline is necessary and often painful, but it should move toward restoration, not disconnection.Train (90%) + discipline (cements) beats living in constant consequence-mode.Timestamps00:00 Why this conversation (parenting pressure + new year intentions) 02:13 Meet Leah (4 kids; former children's minister) 05:29 “Consistently average” discipleship (explicit vs implicit) 08:21 Reading the actual Bible with kids 15:16 Does organisation help discipleship? 20:39 Trad wives, pressure, and an “audience of one” 27:47 Working mum vs stay-at-home mum (biblical framework + realities) 49:14 Discipline: principles, pain, restoration, training 1:06:15 Practical changes for this year (simple, realistic)Scriptures referencedProverbs 13:24Hebrews 12 (esp. v9–11)LinksLeah on Instagram: Raising Disciples https://www.instagram.com/raising.disciples_/Jonathan Haidts substack - After Babel (lots of stats and info for parenting in todays in culture and the impacts) "These intuitions don't even begin to resemble reality. Joe Enders did what every Catholic should be able to do: he publicly defended the teaching of his Church. Days later, he was placed on administrative leave. On Ash Wednesday, he was fired. The Archdiocese of Detroit offered no clear explanation. But the timing tells the story. Enders had appeared on a Catholic commentary program and posted on social media about Zionism, distinguishing it from anti-Semitism, articulating the Church's teaching on the Old Covenant, and affirming that the Church is the New Israel. For this, he lost his job, his income, and his health insurance. His second child is due any day. This is about what happens when young, orthodox Catholics, raised in the faith, committed to tradition, raising families, discover that speaking the Church's own language can get them exiled from her institutions. Enders represents a generation drawn to the Latin Mass, to clarity, to martyrdom if necessary. The Archdiocese just showed them what loyalty costs.HELP JOE AND HIS FAMILY: https://www.spotfund.com/story/bb589a31-b4d4-4112-b753-5002d69b0a57HELP SUPPORT WORK LIKE THIS: https://give.lifesitenews.com/?utm_source=SOCIAL U.S. residents! Matthew Morris hosts the Bowyer Podcast and has spent the last few years deep in traditional archery—making his own bows, hunting with stick and string, and talking to the craftsmen behind the craft. In this episode, we get into what draws people to trad archery, the line between traditional and primitive, and why the community should celebrate anyone picking up a stick bow. Matthew also talks about his first whitetail buck with a longbow this fall after four years of trying, chasing bears with hounds in Arizona, and the freedom that comes with grabbing whatever's on the wall and heading into the woods. A good conversation about finding your thing outdoors and putting in the work to get it done.

Last week's conversation on Trad Wife vs. Boss Babe sparked a lot of discussion — and my inbox and comments filled up fast. Watch/Listen on YouTube So today, we're continuing the conversation. Watch on YouTube This is Part 2: Q&A, where I respond to your real questions, thoughts, and lived experiences — not to pick sides, but to explore the ups and downs of both paths, and why respecting every woman's choice matters more than ever. We talk about: Pre-marital counseling (non-church options), values, and why couples need annual check-ins Prenups, later-in-life marriages, adult children, assets, and planning wisely Dividing household and kid responsibilities without turning it into a battle Why parents don't “babysit” their own kids — and how teamwork actually works The myth of “having it all” and how modern media diminishes homemaking Teaching kids responsibility (and yes — they can help around the house) Family meals, nutrition, budgeting, and why food education matters Couple time, date nights, and protecting your marriage Jobs, moving, airline life, and financial cycles Money realities across generations — debt, buy-now-pay-later culture, and lifestyle creep Celebrity marriages, headlines, and why we never really know what's happening behind the scenes And the deeper question underneath it all: Who gets to define your worth — and why should it ever be social media? At the end of the day, this isn't about labels. It's about values. Choice. Balance. And having the courage to live a life that actually makes your soul happy. Success isn't fitting into a role — it's living life on your own terms.
John-Henry Westen explores the dramatic and public conversion of Jordan Schwarzenberger, former secular media executive and creative force behind the Sidemen, to traditional Catholicism. Once immersed in aggressively liberal environments, Schwarzenberger now critiques modernism and atheism as cultural dead ends. His remarks, including a striking BBC interview, offer a bold testimony to the power of truth and tradition in elite cultural circles. Rather than promoting vague spirituality, he embraces rigorous doctrine and the authority of the Church.HELP SUPPORT WORK LIKE THIS: https://give.lifesitenews.com/?utm_source=SOCIAL U.S. residents! Guest: Pete SixIn this episode, Alex sits down with Pete Six to break down a successful season in the Pennsylvania big woods, where Pete tagged a mature buck with a traditional bow. He walks us through the hunt from start to finish—what went right, what nearly went wrong, and how patience and woodsmanship played a major role in sealing the deal. The two then talk about post-season and late-winter scouting, where Pete explains how he approaches big woods country once the season ends. He dives into the specific sign he prioritizes focusing on fead. Since Alex knows nothing about turkey hunting, Pete wraps things up by looking ahead to spring turkey season and how the transition from deer season keeps Pete sharp year-round. Thank you for listening, and hope you enjoy.Stealth Outdoors (BD10) https://www.stealthoutdoors.com
**Trad Wife. Boss Babe. Stay-at-Home Mom. Career Woman.** Why does the internet insist women must choose sides? In this episode, we slow the conversation way down and explore the evolution of the *“trad wife”*—from the 1950s homemaker, to the Superwoman era, to today's deeply nuanced, choice-driven lives women are actually living. This is **not** a debate and **not** an attack on either path. It's a real, lived conversation about: * Why homemaking and child-rearing are often viewed as “less than” * How feminism expanded choice… and sometimes created new pressure * The exhaustion of “doing it all” * The return of the trad wife—and why it looks very different today * Career, caregiving, creativity, money, autonomy, and respect * How to design a life that aligns with *your* values—not social media labels I also share my personal story after decades as a pilot wife, stay-at-home mom, entrepreneur, and what I now call a **“rad wife”**—forging my own path without losing identity, autonomy, or ambition. If you're navigating: * Marriage or partnership expectations * Career vs. home (or blending both) * Money dynamics and independence * Motherhood, identity, and fulfillment * Or simply feeling judged for your choices This episode is for you. ✨ **Inside the episode, you'll also hear:** * How to start honest conversations with your current or future spouse * How to define your priorities (and revisit them as life changes) * Why routines, flexibility, and creativity matter more than labels * How to ignore outside noise without burning bridges At the end of the day, success belongs to the woman who lives life on **her own terms**. With the new year now upon us, we are going to continue our conversation about the state of feminism, and how we might begin to think and talk about women's lives in ways that are more productive. Our guest on the program this week is a frequent commentator on modern feminism, and she says the central archetypes of our current moment — the girl boss on the left and the trad wife on the right — are both reductive and untenable in today's world.Elizabeth Grace Matthew is an American writer, and the author of the Substack newsletter Restoring American Adulthood. Disclaimer: We are not professionals. This podcast is opinioned based and from life experience. This is for entertainment purposes only. Opinions helped by our guests may not reflect our own. But we love a good conversation. In this unfiltered 2 Be Better Podcast episode, Chris and Peaches break down the “princess treatment” trend, the bare minimum vs princess treatment challenge, and a viral Rolling Stone article attacking trad wives and traditional gender roles. They react to the Princess and the Pe fairy tale, the TikTok hose challenge, and the idea that opening doors, pumping gas, ordering for your wife, and protecting her in public is “over the top” or “misogynistic.” You will hear a blunt, masculine perspective on chivalry, equality, and partnership, why “I don't need a man” is propaganda, and the difference between being fully capable on your own and actually wanting to be loved, protected, and prioritized in a traditional marriage. From there they zoom out and tackle the bigger culture war around trad wife content, feminism, and the dating crisis, including why so many men are afraid to approach women, why women who want to be stay at home wives are shamed online, and how real men see the value of a feminine, nurturing wife raising the next generation. They also go deep on blended families and step-parent hate, defending stepdads and stepmoms who choose to love and raise children that are not biologically theirs, and showing how that role can completely change a kid's future. If you care about traditional marriage, princess treatment vs bare minimum, trad wife life, chivalry in relationships, step-parent dynamics, and building a strong, functional family instead of living for internet approval, this video is going to hit hard and give you language for the standards you actually want to live by.Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/2-be-better--5828421/support.
