I'm Back! Why the absense. Hey saints, it's great to be back on the podcast again. So what's been happening? Note : There are links to all the videos and episodes that I talk about in the description below. 2019 has been a remarkable year with the Lord.  Salvation, healing and discipleship has increased through last year and it continues through this one.  In this episode I take you back to 2017 and talk to you about how this podcast started from a single room where I was living alone, after my wife had separated from me. ( which the Lord later reconciled ).  During that time of separation, I decided to really trust God for everything. So I left the place I was renting and dared to trust God. I became homeless. ( Allthough those of us in Christ are never really homeless ). The Lord immediately started providing for me with a car, a place to sleep, food, water, money, everything I needed. As the episodes of the podcast continued, I was led to make some videos during my time out in the bush living by faith. Then in November 2019 the Lord had prompted me to make a kickstart seminar series on video.  What is a kickstart seminar?  A kickstart seminar is a 2 or sometimes 3 day event where we invite Christians to come along and be taught what is a disciple of Christ, how to heal the sick, cast out demons, preach the gospel and make disciples. They will be taken on the street and really experience God working with and through them. So as the Lord led, I have done 11 videos on the kickstart seminar. They are taught in a way that would be taught in a live event only they are one to one, myself and the viewer. ( I've also added a few bonuses to the series ). So because I have given a lot of time to studying and implementing the videos, the podcast was on hold for a while. But praise God now we have even more reach to the lost and to the saints who need discipleship.  The podcast and videos will continue ( now that I have learned how to do both ). It's all for Jesus sake and the commission He has given us all to fulfil.  Links : The vision of Jesus and my wife leaving Unity in marriage Video series on my time of being homeless, dependant on God for everything. For our November show, we got a chance to link with prolific much loved disco singer Christine Wiltshire - all the way from Amsterdam! Check out Hans R. de Vries bio below for all the facts on the much accomplished songbird and take a listen to our two hour interview as Christine shares some of the memories from Disco's Golden Age! Singer Christine Wiltshire , originally a native of Brooklyn, New York started her professional career as in the Luther Vandross quintet LUTHER in 1976 and broke through internationally with the Patrick Adams's group MUSIQUE by 1978 with international hits as "In The Bush" and "Keep On Jumpin' ", which resulted in a Gold Record for album Musique and her group was nominated Billboard's “Best Girl Group” as part of the group “Musique” in 1978. She also composed for the group. Allthough not on the record cover of Alphonse Mouzon's produced group POUSSEZ! Christine did all (lead-) vocals for that project. Hits: "Come On And Do It" and "Never Gonna Say Goodbye". She got her biggest hit song with "Weekend", originally recorded by Patrick Adams' studio group Phreek of which Wiltshire was a member. The song was heavily played by Larry Levan yet it was commercially unavailable so it did not enter any charts 1n 1976. In the early 1980s, William Socolov, the co-owner of Sleeping Bag Records, invited Levan to make a new version of "Weekend". It became more successful than the original version, peaking at No. 54 on the British pop chart and No. 9 on the Billboard Dance chart in 1983. And in 2016 "Weekend" is again re-released with Blaqhol Remixes and has entered some European charts. Christine Wiltshire toured around the world with a.o. Luther Vandross, Zulema, Disco Tex and the Sex-O-Lettes, Samantha Sang, The Marvelettes & Marianne Faithful. As a session singer she can be heard on recordings by a.o.Lou Reed (female vocals on "Walk On The Wild Side"), Melba Moore, Keith Richards (of Rolling Stones), John Phillips (of Mamas and Papas), John Lennon (of Beatles) & Yoko Ono, Jocelyn Brown, Zulema, Candi Staton, Lolitta Holloway, Eddie Kendricks (of The Temptations), Kid Creole and the Coconuts, Herbie Mann, Latoya Jackson, Cuba Gooding Sr.and Robert Palmer. Through the years Christine now also developed herself as a Jazz and Standards singer and she performs songs from The Great American Songbook at Supper Clubs and intimate venues, next to her work as a Pop and former Disco singer.

Richard Kuiper [aka Mouse] dj/producer : techno : acid Richard Kuiper, or Mouse, sound engineer and designer, likes to produce music in an eccentric fasion. Allthough fasinated by underground culture and mainstream; mouse likes to bend the guidelines and aproach the music without all his knowledge. Constantly breaking patterns in workflow, while following a basic path in the techno genre. It started on a commodore 64 vic with a software synthesiser program- "Synthesiser." As a young boy he spent hours figuring out what all the knobs did; without knowledge, sounds came and went. And sessions mostly ended when there was no sound comming from the program. In the end he did not understand anything about synthesis, but surely made sounds that where sent to space. Or maybe send from space. The music flowes just flows! On the commodore, Mouse had the vision of starting a studio where sound could be manipulated and captured. Later he started programming on the well known 486 computer, and made modules that where very popular in the 90s. This was the moment Mouse started to realise that the sounds he really wanted to make were impossible on any instrument. This realization opened doorways to infinte possibillities in a still limited domain. Currently educated as soundengineer, he still likes to start a music project as if it is his first. Ït keeps the student in me alive" - Richard Kuiper [aka/ Mouse] He mostly works on obsecure, unique and quite underrated electronic instruments and is a big fan of audio tape. Especially the analog sound captured on the compact cassette. For Mouse there are no rules in audio, only guidelines. http://soundcloud.com/mouse777 http://www.youtube.com/user/beatbasta BWLR-P010 Richard Kuiper, Amsterdam, NL

Neospora caninum - a causal agent of abortion in cows The present study gives an overview of the current knowledge of N. caninum, particularly concerning the incidence of abortions in cattle populations infected by this parasite. In 1988 the Toxoplasma-like protozoon found in dogs was named N. caninum. In more than 40 countries N. caninum has been diagnosed since that time and about 17 different species were found to host infections by N. caninum. There are reports about 26 isolates. A different species, N. hughesi, was found to infect horses. Three different isolates of this species were described. There are conflicting reports about the exact phylogenetic classification of N. caninum. Especially the taxonomical relationship between Neospora, Toxoplasma and Hammondia is still being discussed controversely. It is generally accepted that N. caninum belongs to the phylum of Apicomplexa, the class of Sporozoa, the subclass of Coccidia, the order of Eucoccidia and the suborder of Eimeriina. During its life cycle N. caninum passes through various phases like sporogony, schizogony and gamogony. Definitive and intermediate hosts are needed for parasite`s development. To date not every detail of the parasite`s life has been investigated. Numerous investigations took place up until 1998 when it became obvious that the dog is a definitive host of N. caninum. Currently there is no evidence that other canids may also function as definitive hosts. It is difficult to distinguish oocysts of N. caninum from those of other eimerian species. N. caninum is transmitted either vertically from a cow to its fetus by tachyzoites or horizontally by ingesting oocysts, tachyzoites or bradyzoites. Reduced fertility and abortions are severe problems caused by neosporosis in cattle populations. Abortions can occur sporadically, endemically or epidemically. Concerning the season in which abortions take place a connection to climatic conditions favouring the survival of oocysts in the environment was suggested. But nevertheless N. caninum induced abortions can happen during the whole of the year. After the infection of a cow by N. caninum its first pregnancy probably results in abortion. During the following pregnancies the fetus of the same cow is likely to become infected, too, but abortion is unprobable. The resulting calf is infected chronically and also gives birth to infected offsprings. Only in exceptional circumstances may abortion occur again during the second or third pregnancy of the same cow. Sometimes stillbirths or malformations occur. The individual immune system of a cow chronically infected by N. caninum plays an important role for the transmission of the fetus and for the probability of abortion. Serological diagnoses of infections by N. caninum have to be confirmed by histopathological examinations to ensure that symptoms observed were really caused by this parasite. But former investigations demonstrate that the confirmation of diagnosis is difficult, especially if tissues dispatched are in bad condition. Immunological studies have been initiated to learn more about the parasitic activities of N. caninum and the host-parasite interaction. There is a chance to develop a vaccine to avoid the transplacental transmission of the parasite. The next step is the prevention of the horizontal infection. In general prevention from infection is of great importance in herds with infertility and abortions. Feeding with contaminated food and water should be avoided. Furthermore placentas potentially infected and stillborn calves should be removed. Affected herds should be examined serologically and histopathologically. Economic losses caused by infections by N. caninum result from reduced fertility, reduced milk production, lower average daily weight gain as well as from abortion. But up to now the severity of economical losses can not be quantified exactly, because aborted fetuses are not examined routinely. There is no zoonotic potential of N. caninum. Allthough it was possible to infect monkeys with a high dose of tachyzoites, there has been no natural infection seen up to now. And no indicate of N. caninum infections in aborted human fetuses were fou
