It's the Pay Per View that buries itself! The Undertaker, Stone Cold Steve Austin, Mankind and the Rock all end up with low star counts, while the undercard does its best to prop the show up. WWF IN YOUR HOUSE: BURIED ALIVE REWIND!WWF In Your House: Buried Alive was the 11th In Your House pay-per-view offering from the revolutionary force in sports entertainment, and it took place on October 20, 1996 at the Market Square Arena in Indianapolis, Indiana. In 1996, the World Wrestling Federation was trying some new things, especially with the nWo angle in World Championship Wrestling beginning to take off in popularity. This Buried Alive Match was one of those things, and simply put, the winner would have to bury his opponent alive. We take a deep dive, no pun intended, into the pay-per-view, where many parts were moving: Jim Ross was a heel, the show opened with a heel vs. heel match, Owen Hart/British Bulldog and the Smoking Gunns having another terrible ending to their second straight pay-per-view match, Marc Mero blew out his knee, Goldust threatened to stick his tongue down everyone's throats, Sid being super over at this time, the entrance gate, and just how much "buried alive" is buried alive? We also throw in some tidbits on the 1993 Phillies, so press play!

Everyone knows that Vinnie's got a sweet tooth! In this episode of Wrasslin' Raw, the boys are treated to another of the most iconic scenes in wrestling history: Vince McMahon's time in the hospital. The night gets rounded out with matches from Ken Shamrock, D-Lo Brown, and Al Snow, despite the Headbangers and ICP trying to ruin the night. Mark Henry sues Chyna for sexual harassment, and we're all invited to Goldust's premiere next week. There's nothing quite like the ringing of a bedpan!

The Big Five Project returns and, with it, we begin to draw ever closer to the birth of the Attitude Era. Things start to take shape here at the 1996 edition of the Royal Rumble. On this January night in Fresno, CA, we saw Goldust emerge as a force to be reckoned with as he dethroned Razor Ramon for the Intercontinental Championship. The Smoking Guns overcame the distraction of Sunny to retain the WWF Tag Team Championship. The Rumble match itself would see the Heartbreak Kid, Shawn Michaels, become only the second man to win back-to-back Rumbles, overcoming 29 other men, including his best friend Diesel, to punch his ticket to the Main Event of WrestleMania XII. He would end up facing Bret "The Hitman" Hart there, as the WWF Championship match between The Hitman and The Undertaker ended in a no-contest. All in all, it is a good, but not great, event. Despite that, the event also saw someone who would turn into a stone-cold giant in the industry make his Big Five debut.
