ALL THE GOOD THINGS HAVE COME AT ONCE... this week on the show not only are we joined by an actual olympian, but we are joined by an olympian who is a member of the British Empire. It's the legend that is Chris Mears. Chris has the life that you believe only happens in fiction - when training for a diving competition in Sydney his spleen ruptured causing him to almost die, he lost 2L of blood and had a 5% survival chance. He was told he would never dive again. 2 years later he won gold in Rio.On top of all this he has recently left diving behind to become a DJ/Producer as part of the Bloodline duo, supporting Labrinth and Pendulum on stage and releasing music with The Vamps. This episode is an absolute rollercoaster. Strap yourself in… it's Chris Mears. See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.
