This week we welcome Conor McDonnell to the bus! I have known Conor for the past ten years and seeing the accomplishments he has pulled off both professionally and personally are nothing short of impressive. In this episode, we talk about what it takes to go from touring with an artist - to working with them on a very personal level. Touring is already personal, but being the guy who goes with them to private events, parties, and everything else - that takes a true connection. We very much limit our conversations to his jobs within the music industry - but I would encourage you to check out his portfolio for some amazing images in other areas as well. In this episode of the Don't Shit On The Bus podcast we will learn: • How Conor became a person photographer • The importance of always learning • The significance of reading rooms • How to become more than a photographer to an artist (00:00) Intro (02:11) Patreon (03:02) Conor gets on the bus (05:45) How Conor got into photography (10:20) When Conor started touring (11:52) When Conor met Calvin Harris (14:10) Being able to read the room (15:07) Being more than a photographer (19:15) When Conor knew he made it as a photographer (20:38) Conor saying yes a lot early in his career (24:04) Roadblocks switching between photography styles (25:43) Working with managers (30:13) Different music genres operate their own way (31:49) Being a personal photographer for Calvin Harris (34:15) Creatively collaborating with Calvin (35:13) Learn as you go (37:00) Staying humble (40:34) How to not be seen during a concert (46:07) Wrap up notes (46:20) Shower Shoes --- Conor McDonnell - Guest ► Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/ConorMcDPhoto/ ► Twitter: https://twitter.com/ConorMcDPhoto ► Website: https://conormcdonnell.co.uk/ --- Don't Shit On The Bus Podcast ► Website: http://www.dontshitonthebus.com ► Spotify: http://bit.ly/DSotBspotify ► Apple Podcasts: http://bit.ly/DSotBapple ► TikTok: https://tiktok.com/@dontshitonthebus ► Twitter: https://twitter.com/DSotBpodcast ► Instagram: https://instagram.com/DSotBpodcast ► Facebook: https://facebook.com/DSotBpodcast ► Patreon: https://patreon.com/DSotB --- Adam Elmakias - Host ► Twitter: https://twitter.com/elmakias ► Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/elmakias ► Website: https://www.adamelmakias.com --- Edited & Produced by Connor Gaskey

If you're an SDR/BDR who wants to be an AE and working for a company with no clear career path to do so, you're not alone. Introducing my next guest, Conor McDonell, Account Executive at Breaktime Media. Breaktime Media focuses on the 180-second pauses we take throughout our day. They do this by harnessing a 360-degree technology platform to deliver rich and engaging content to an audience of 36 million shoppers across mobile, tablet, and desktop. The road to success wasn't all sunshine and rainbows, like many, he started off at a company that didn't really have the offerings aligned with his end goal. Although he was one of the top performers in the group, he slayed out the SDR/BDR role for 2 and a half years. Study shows the average tenure for any SDR/BDR ranges anywhere from 12-18 months. If the company you're currently work for doesn't offer what your end goal is, better think about making a move. Question is, are you willing to do it? McDonnell is a hungry and passionate sales professionals. To get where he's at today, he had to jump states and getting unformatted. He moved from his homeland Massaucheus out to Florida to make it happen and indeed it all paid off. Conor my man, much love to you brother and thank you for coming on the 1Up Sales Dev. Podcast to share your story, we truly appreciate you!

That's why I'm so fired about my guest for Episode 62 - Conor McDonnell. This is Conor's second time on the show and he brings the fire on this one! I hope you enjoy our conversation on everything from:
