Want to launch a premium, high-margin consumable brand and work with us to bring it to market? Get on the waitlist for our next cohort: ► Capitalism.com Bootcamp: https://capitalism.com/bootcamp I sat down with Djamel, the co-founder of Organifi, who grew a superfoods brand from $1 million to $100 million in about four years. We break down exactly how it happened: a premium, high-margin product, affiliates paid 75% commissions when the rest of the industry paid 5%, customer data poured into Facebook ads, and the team and systems that turned a scrappy launch into a nine-figure business. None of this was an accident. It was manufactured, and you get the whole playbook. (0:00) The $1M to $100M question, with Organifi's co-founder (1:00) Where it started: Drew Canole and the done-for-you green juice (3:00) Going out of business: the data-driven Hail Mary launch (4:00) The decision that set them apart: making it actually taste good (6:00) Sold out in three days, and presales became a crowdsourced capital raise (7:00) Building the whole thing on Infusionsoft, before Shopify existed (8:00) The takeaway so far: build a small audience and aim for a $10K launch (9:00) The first million saves the company, then the audience taps out (11:00) ClickBank comes calling: first supplement, and the launch that blew up (14:00) Influencer marketing before it had a name, and the TikTok Shop parallel (15:00) The 75% commission unlock: pay affiliates like digital, win on the back end (17:00) How aggressive commissions took them to $5 million (18:00) Turning customer data into Facebook ads that scaled them toward $20 million (20:00) Why did everything work? The numbers made sense (22:00) Why margin matters: build a premium brand and race to the top (23:00) The hate for a $70 greens powder, and why premium customers are easier (25:00) Building the movement: community as the premium moat (29:00) From $20 million to $100 million: becoming a real operational business (30:00) Stacking traffic channels, and the podcast-ad advice that opened a new one (33:00) The systems behind the scale: EOS, OKRs, KPIs, and dashboards (34:00) Becoming a leader: from wrecking ball to human (37:00) The two hires that mattered most: his CMO and COO (41:00) Incentive plans: phantom stock valued against the future goal (44:00) Walking away from capital three times, and the "bladder rule of finance" (46:00) The chaos behind the scenes: algorithm swings, lost influencers, tight cash (48:00) Exiting without selling: replacing himself, burnout, and rediscovery (50:00) His $1M-to-$100M playbook: data, team, problem-solving (52:00) The belief you have to manufacture (55:00) Why the entrepreneur bug never leaves DISCLAIMER: The information contained on this podcast and the resources available for download/viewing through this podcast for educational and informational purposes only.

Military Credit Cards in 2026: How to Get Premium Cards With No Annual Fees #238

It might be the greatest military discount in history — and most service members are leaving it on the table. In this solo episode, Spencer breaks down how active duty members, Guard and Reserve on 30+ day orders, and military spouses can carry the best premium credit cards on the market and pay $0 in annual fees, thanks to two federal laws. He covers exactly how it works, the optimal order to open cards, how far you can push it in "two-player mode," and the real refund stories — including one veteran who got over $8,000 back. Questions Answered What's the big deal with military annual-fee waivers, and why do the banks do it? Who qualifies as a "covered borrower"? What's the difference between the MLA and the SCRA — and which applies when? How do you check the MLA database before applying? How do you get started, and are you actually ready for this hobby? What's the optimal order to open cards? How far can you take this, and what is "two-player mode"? Which cards are eligible for fee waivers? Are military spouses eligible for their own cards? (Yes.) What if a spouse opened a card before active duty? Will all these cards hurt my credit score? What about business cards? What happens to the annual fees when I leave active duty? Main Topics Covered The two laws that power the waivers: Military Lending Act (MLA) and Servicemembers Civil Relief Act (SCRA) Who's covered: active duty, Guard/Reserve on 30+ day orders, and DEERS-listed spouses MLA's 36% rate cap and why banks just zero out fees instead Treating credit cards like debit cards — the prerequisite for playing Referral bonuses and spouse "two-player mode" A sample card-opening sequence  Stacking recurring benefits across multiple cards (travel credits, Uber Eats, hotel credits, free-night certs) How multiple open cards can actually help your credit score What to do with cards after separating: keep, downgrade, or close Real UMC3 success stories, including large SCRA refunds Resources Mentioned Top card list: militarymoneymanual.com/cards Ultimate Military Credit Cards Course: militarymoneymanual.com/umc3 MLA database check: militarymoneymanual.com/mla-database Episode 215: "Military Spouse Credit Cards: 4 Myths Debunked" with The Military Travelers Instagram: @militarymoneymanual Email: podcast@militarymoneymanual.com For Bilt MLA waivers: support@cardless.com Advertiser Disclosure: This video may contain links through which we are compensated when you click on or are approved for offers. Supplement safety is often discussed in very general terms, but in practice the risks depend heavily on the individual. A supplement that is reasonable for one person may be inappropriate for another based on their medications, health conditions, dose, formulation, or the other products they are already using. This becomes especially important when supplements interact with medications or underlying medical conditions. Some interactions can change how a drug is absorbed, metabolised, transported, or cleared from the body. Others can amplify or oppose the drug's clinical effect, such as increasing sedation, lowering blood pressure or blood glucose, or affecting bleeding risk. In this episode, Giulia Guerrini, a GPhC-registered pharmacist and researcher at Examine, talks about how clinicians and practitioners can think more systematically about supplement safety, side effects, contraindications, and drug–supplement interactions. Adopted at birth and raised in a Jewish household in Phoenix, Blake started DJing weddings and bar mitzvahs at 13 and built a career in music and nightlife while quietly hiding a worsening addiction for over a decade. By the time he moved to Nashville in 2014 to chase a career in the arts, he was a high functioning alcoholic leaning on psychedelics, convinced they made him a better artist, while the people closest to him had no idea how bad it had gotten.Blake opens up about hitting bottom in Nashville, calling his dad for help, and getting into treatment within 48 hours, only to relapse after walking away from music entirely and moving back to Phoenix. He found lasting sobriety on a sober hike up a mountain he stumbled onto by chance, and he's been sober since. Today, Blake is the founder of Sober House Records and co-founder of Formerly Intoxicated, a nonprofit bringing music and healing arts into treatment centers and prisons. John Di Domenico is one of the world's most recognized celebrity impersonators, best known for his legendary Donald Trump impression. A veteran comedian, actor, and voice artist, John has appeared on major platforms including Jimmy Kimmel Live!, The Howard Stern Show, and The Tonight Show. He was also one of the highest-earning creators on Cameo, building a thriving business around a single character. In this episode, Travis breaks down the biggest lessons he learned from John's journey—from overcoming a childhood speech impediment to creating a scalable career through skill stacking, relentless practice, and creative expansion. On this episode we talk about: How childhood challenges can become career-defining strengths The power of skill stacking and developing a unique competitive advantage Why top performers constantly return to the fundamentals Turning one successful skill into multiple income streams Why there has never been a better time to create opportunities for yourself Top 3 Takeaways Your biggest obstacles may become your greatest assets. John's years of speech therapy ultimately gave him the technical understanding of voices that made him a world-class impersonator. Long-term skill stacking creates opportunities that look like luck to outsiders. Decades of comedy, acting, improv, and voice work positioned John perfectly when demand for Trump impersonations exploded. Success comes from maximizing what you've built. Rather than relying on a single income source, John expanded one core skill into corporate events, live performances, Cameo videos, and customized experiences. Notable Quotes "Your obstacles can become your instruments." "Stacking skills over a long time creates an unfair advantage." "There's no excuse in this era not to succeed." Connect with John D. When Marybeth Gilliam was diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer, she did what her years as a healthcare researcher had trained her to do: she went looking for the evidence. What she found was a gap between a growing body of peer-reviewed research pointing to strategies that can improve outcomes, and the fact that most of it never reached patients because it hadn't yet become standard of care.In this episode of Patient From Hell, host Samira Daswani sits down with Marybeth, founder of Outperform Cancer, to talk about how she is working to close that gap. She translates overlooked, peer-reviewed findings into steps patients can actually take, always paired with standard treatment rather than in place of it. Exercise, nutrition, and sleep are part of it, and so is asking sharper questions about biomarker testing, weighing well-supported off-label options, and refusing to take no for an answer when the data is strong. She shares her own story, the research that reshaped her thinking, and a practical case for taking an active role in your care when the first treatment decisions matter most.In this episode:Why she founded Outperform Cancer to close the gap between research and the clinicHow she pairs evidence-based strategies with standard treatment, not instead of itBiomarker testing and advocating for off-label options backed by solid trials (PATINA, MA.32)What being your own advocate actually looks like in the exam roomThis podcast is for general informational purposes only and does not constitute medical advice. No script, no polish — just a real-time account of what discouragement actually feels like when you've bet everything on a vision that hasn't paid off yet.Recorded from New York City during one of his hardest financial stretches, Norense walks through the tension every creator and entrepreneur eventually hits: the gap between giving, giving, giving — and wondering if there's an adequate exchange coming back. He doesn't pretend to have it figured out. You've hit milestones that once felt huge - and somehow, each time you got there, the feeling you were chasing had already moved on to the next thing. Anna Lundberg explores why hitting your goals never feels like enough, what's actually driving the pattern, and the slower work that changes it. Key takeaways: The milestone treadmill is real - and almost universal. This pattern runs through nearly every established independent Anna has worked with. The arrival keeps not quite arriving, across very different businesses and very different definitions of success. Milestones are solving for a feeling. The implicit deal - once I hit X, I'll feel Y - doesn't pay out, because the feeling doesn't come from the achievement. It comes from somewhere more internal, and slower. The goalpost moves because of a belief, not a lack of evidence. The question running underneath every milestone ("I'm legitimate, I belong here, I'm enough") predates the business. Stacking more proof doesn't resolve a belief. Plateaus are part of the pattern - and not what they feel like from inside. They're usually where the real integration work happens, not where everything stalls. The work that shifts the pattern is slow and usually needs outside support. Self-awareness helps you describe it. Getting outside of it is a different thing. Read more about Atelier, Anna's one-to-one coaching, at onestepoutside.com/atelier.

225. How Enneagram Type 1s Can Give More Effective Feedback at Work

Enneagram MBA

Play Episode Listen Later Jun 20, 2026 13:41

Type 1s, known as the Administrator (source: Awareness to Action Enneagram) care deeply about doing things right. They're clear, they're specific, and they genuinely want the person in front of them to improve. But that same commitment to high standards can sometimes get in the way of the feedback actually landing. In this episode, we're walking through what Type 1s are already doing well and a few things worth adjusting so their feedback inspires rather than overwhelms. What You'll Hear in This EpisodeUnlike some types who soften feedback to the point of losing the message, Type 1s don't have that problem. Their challenge is almost the opposite. The inner critic that drives their own high standards can quietly seep into how feedback is delivered, in tone, body language, and the sheer volume of things they want to address at once. This episode helps Type 1s channel their gift for seeing what should be into feedback that motivates real change.A Note Before You Go InBefore the conversation, check in with your inner critic. Type 1s have an inner voice that is louder, harsher, and more relentless than most, and what feels like honest, measured feedback on the outside can sometimes be that inner critic talking. Ask yourself: is this feedback honest and helpful, or is it starting to bleed into perfect and harsh? That check-in can set the whole tone.3 Things to DO as a Type 1 When Giving FeedbackLead with positive intent and say it out loud. It might feel obvious to you that you're coming from a place of care, but the other person doesn't always know that. Don't skip the setup. A quick "I'm bringing this up because I want you to succeed" changes how everything that follows is received.Be specific and factual, not evaluative. There's a difference between "the report was missing the Q3 projections" and "the report wasn't good enough." The first is actionable. The second stings without direction. Type 1s naturally gravitate toward specifics, just make sure the inner critic isn't swapping facts for judgment.Offer a clear path forward. You have a rare ability to see what should be - use it. Don't just address what went wrong; give the person a concrete next step. That "good to great" instinct is a gift. Use it to look forward. 3 Things to AVOID as a Type 1 When Giving FeedbackLetting frustration show up in your tone or body language. Your words might be measured and thoughtful, and they usually are, but feelings can come through in your face and your voice without you realizing it. One Type 1 leader we worked with laughed about how his team called it his "resting [you know what] face." He had no idea he was doing it. Just something to be aware of and occasionally soften.Stacking all the things at once. Your standards are high, and there's probably a lot you could address. But delivering a long list of everything that needs to be fixed can feel overwhelming and even hopeless on the receiving end, like I can't do anything right, so why try? Prioritize the most important thing. Let the rest go for now and come back to it after the first priority is addressed.Assuming the goal is obvious. You know you're giving this feedback so they can improve. They might not feel that in the moment. Saying it explicitly isn't redundant, it's what makes the feedback land as support rather than criticism.A Phrase to Try"I'm bringing this up because I know you're capable of excellence. You can meet this standard...and I'm here to help you get there."Say it at the start, wrap up with it, or both. It reminds the other person, and yourself, why this conversation is happening.Resources + Next StepsAre you a Type 1 with something to add, push back on, or a real-world example to share? Watch it here: https://youtu.be/tdtUR2e14WEIn Episode 264 of the Further Your Lifestyle podcast, host Chris focuses on the “boring middle” of any journey—the repetitive, mundane reps where progress feels slow and results seem invisible. He argues most people don't fail from lack of talent but from quitting when motivation fades, doubt creeps in, and the work feels too ordinary. Chris explains that consistent reps build trust, standards, resilience, and identity, compounding like snowflakes into noticeable change over time. Using examples like running and long-term podcasting, he emphasizes that winners rely on routines and evidence-based processes rather than hype, and that foundations grow unseen like roots before visible success appears. He closes by challenging listeners to identify what they're tempted to quit, choose stacking reps over chasing results, and keep showing up until today's boredom becomes tomorrow's “overnight success.”00:00 Welcome and Theme00:51 Why the Middle Matters02:57 Anyone Can Start03:38 Reps Build Identity04:29 Compounding Consistency06:42 Roots Before Results07:47 Winners Need Routine09:26 Trust the Right Process10:05 Questions and Challenge11:37 Overnight Success Myth13:13 Final EncouragementPodcast Sponsors:Robert PiperHi Voltage BargainsEthan “Rooshock” The BOLO Hunter PODCAST: https://www.furtheryourlifestyle.com/► SUBSCRIBE to the podcast on▹ Spotify | https://bit.ly/FYL_Spotify▹ Apple Podcast | https://bit.ly/FYL_Apple▹ Google Podcast | https://bit.ly/FYL_GooglePod► Let's CONNECT on social media:▹ instagram | http://www.instagram.com/furtheryourlifestyle▹ email | hello@furtheryourlifestyle.comMUSIC:» via https://www.epidemicsound.com/referral/6hfvrvContinue the conversation:  @furtheryourlifestyleJoin the Newsletter: check it out

Get my Myoxcience Electrolyte Stix + NAC HERE : https://bit.ly/4e8BTKu  Pre-order Keto Flex Revised and get free bonuses: https://bit.ly/4wKG1sM    You're doing lemon water every morning thinking it's detoxing your liver. According to Ben Azadi, there's a good chance it's doing the opposite. In this episode, Ben breaks down five common lemon water mistakes backed by published research, including one that causes four times more enamel erosion than Coca-Cola, one that activates inflammatory pathways linked to fatty liver, and one that almost every wellness influencer is teaching wrong. With fatty liver now affecting one in three adults globally, and most people having zero symptoms until the damage is advanced, getting this right matters more than most people realize. The good news? Your liver can regenerate up to 70% of its mass in a matter of weeks once you remove the damage and give it the right inputs. Key Takeaways: Bottled lemon juice contains pasteurized nutrients and plastic-leached endocrine disruptors that give your liver more to clean up, not less The actual liver-supporting flavonoids in lemon (eriocitrin and hesperidin) are in the peel, not the juice Sipping lemon water all morning causes four times more enamel erosion than soda, per a PLOS One study Artificial sweeteners including sucralose and aspartame have been linked to liver inflammation and non-alcoholic fatty liver disease through gut-liver axis disruption Stacking lemon water and coffee back-to-back creates a compounded cortisol, acid, and mineral-depletion event that stresses the liver from the moment you wake up The simple fix: real lemon with peel, drunk in one go, no sweeteners, with coffee spaced out by at least 30 minutes Find All The Ben Azadi Show Sponsorship Deals https://www.ketokamp.com/sponsorship-deals Learn more about your ad choices. You are actively training your biology for long-term clarity. If you frequently find yourself finishing your week feeling mentally fragmented, scattered, or stuck on an emotional rollercoaster between high-alert stress and total burnout, your system is missing integration. In this session, we dive into the advanced science of neuro-somatic synthesis and introduce Somatic Stacking—layering postural alignment, the Pran Mudra, and Root Chakra grounding simultaneously to instantly drop cortisol, lock out environmental noise, and restore a state of sharp, effortless daily execution. In This Episode, You'll Discover: The Cost of Fragmentation: The biological reason why juggling multiple roles splits your attention and keeps your nervous system chemically unbalanced. The Architecture of Somatic Stacking: How layering physical, energetic, and breath anchors simultaneously creates a powerful synergistic off-switch for stress. The Master Weaver Perspective: An illuminating story on why modifying your thoughts fails if you don't first align the structural frame of your biology. The Equilibrium Protocol: A guided 6-minute integrated meditation to completely stabilize your heart rate, stop energy leaks, and anchor your mind in sovereign peace. A Daily Message for Your Heart You are balancing a mountain of moving parts, steering a large vision, and anchoring the spaces you occupy. It is completely natural to feel scattered, like you are a collection of tasks and timelines rather than a whole soul. Today, remember that balance is not something you find by fixing everything in the outside world—balance is an internal posture you claim right here in the immediate present. You do not have to wait for the storm to stop to find your peace. By taking these ten minutes to stack your physical tools, you are gathering your scattered power back into your own hands. Let the affirmation 'My nervous system is steady, my body is safe, and I am entirely at peace' act as your absolute standard of stability today. You are doing an extraordinary job. This is day 6 of a 7-day meditation series, 3514-3520 Somatic Stress Relief.   THIS WEEK'S MEDITATION JOURNEY   If you are tired of waking up already feeling overwhelmed, running on adrenaline, and dealing with that persistent background anxiety that makes it impossible to focus, you are in the exact right place.   This week, we are stepping into a profound, 7-day somatic experience designed to pull you out of survival mode and return you to a state of calm, unshakeable power.   We aren't just going to talk about peace; we are going to build it directly into your biology. Over the next seven days, we will layer powerful, science-backed tools—including ancient hand mudras like the Pran Mudra, deep rhythmic breathing protocols, target chakra alignments, and restorative physical resets—to train your body that it is safe to let go.   Whether you are navigating a high-velocity career, balancing a mountain of daily demands, or simply trying to quiet an overactive mind before bed, this series is your ultimate biological reset button. Get ready to lower your cortisol, drop your shoulders, and reclaim your inner sovereignty.   THIS WEEK'S CHALLENGE: THE 30-SECOND COLD SPLASH At the end of your morning shower, turn the handle to cold for just 30 seconds. Alternatively, fill a bowl with ice water and submerge your face up to your temples for 10 seconds.   MEDITATION TECHNIQUES: DAY 1: VISUALIZATION Visualize yourself seated next to people who calm you.   DAY 2: AFFIRMATION "My body is safe, and I am at peace."   DAY 3: THE EXTENDED EXHALE BREATHING TECHNIQUE Inhale through your nose for a count of 4, feeling your belly expand. Hold gently at the top for a count of 4. Exhale slowly through pursed lips (like breathing through a straw) for a count of 8. Repeat for 3 to 5 cycles to instantly lower your heart rate and drop cortisol levels. DAY 4: PRAN MUDRA (THE LIFE FORCE SEAL) This mudra acts like a grounding cord for a scattered, anxious mind while simultaneously replenishing drained energy reserves without overstimulating your system. How to do it: On both hands, bring the tips of your ring finger and pinky finger to touch the tip of your thumb. Keep your index and middle fingers extended straight out. Rest your hands on your lap, palms facing up. DAY 5: MULADHARA ROOT CHAKRA When the nervous system is overwhelmed, energy flies upward into a swirling vortex of overthinking. Dropping your awareness down to the Root Chakra—located at the base of your spine—anchors you. Visualize a rich, warm, steady crimson light grounding you deeply into the solid earth beneath you.   DAY 6: LAYER ALL THE TECHNIQUES TOGETHER   DAY 7: REFLECTION AND CELEBRATION   SHARE YOUR MEDITATION JOURNEY WITH YOUR FELLOW MEDITATORS Let's connect and inspire each other! Join the  Uplift Community App  TODAY!    There is a specific kind of loss that does more than hurt. It rearranges you. I know because I lived it. A business I believed in fell apart. A few friendships did not survive the fallout. A decision I made in good faith went sideways in a way I never saw coming. And somewhere in the middle of all of it, I stopped trusting the voice inside me that said yes in the first place. This episode isn't about the mistake. It's about what follows: confidence fading, second-guessing taking over, hovering over the brake, even with a clear path. I'll take you back to when it happened to me. After a meeting with an investor in New York City in 2012, I sat in a cafe with four close friends and business partners. Without anyone saying a word, we all knew it was over. The startup was finished. Two friendships didn't survive. For almost a year after, I was moving, but not freely. Every decision felt like a test I was set to fail. If you've been there, this episode may finally voice what you've felt in silence.   What You'll Learn in This Episode: Why being wrong about a decision and being wrong about yourself as a decision maker are two completely different things (and how your brain collapses them together in about four seconds) What your amygdala (Alli calls her "Becky") is actually doing after a painful loss, and why what feels like discernment is often just fear doing excellent costume work The two questions to ask about any decision you're still carrying at 2 a.m. How to turn the replay loop into actual data instead of an open wound Why self-trust rebuilds through small, consistent low-stakes reps, not a breakthrough moment   Timestamps: (00:21) - Introduction: How to trust yourself again when you've been wrong (01:36) - The friendship losses that made it personal (02:19) - What happens when being wrong stops being an event and starts feeling like a verdict (02:41) - The four-second leap: "that didn't work" to "I can't trust my own judgment" (03:03) - How Alli pulled back, got quiet, started hovering over the brake (03:42) - Fear as an excellent designer: it shows up looking exactly like wisdom (03:42) - What self-distrust actually looks like (running decisions by five people, scrolling for someone else's experience, "waiting on God" when you heard from him two weeks ago) (04:46) - Starting to ask a different question about what she'd lost (05:16) - Grieving the losses as real, then separating them from a verdict about her instincts (07:28) - The GPS analogy: deleting the app because it routed you through a construction zone once (08:00) - Romans 8:28: not a promise that decisions will be perfect, but a promise that He works with all of them (08:49) - What the rebuild is really about (hint: not becoming better, giving yourself permission to use the judgment you already have) (09:28) - Step 1: Separate the data from the story. Two questions to ask about the decision you're still carrying. (10:37) - The identity shift that changes everything: "I'm becoming a woman who evaluates decisions instead of using them as evidence against herself" (11:22) - Step 2: Turn regret into data. One question that stops the replay loop. (11:57) - What to do with the answer (and what to do if the answer is nothing new) (12:38) - Step 3: Stack small trust reps. Physical therapy for your confidence. (13:28) - Stacking evidence until your brain starts treating decision-making as something you can handle (14:14) - Being wrong does not disqualify you. It sometimes informs you.   Links to great things we discussed:    Alli's Product Recommendation - Eucerin Face Immersive Hydration Daily Lotion  Function Health Take the Secret Superpower Quiz Join the Uplift Community Follow Alli on Instagram Don't forget to watch Alli Worthington on YouTube!  I hope you loved this episode!

What We Cover This Episode Stacking comes up constantly in rec play, and most players either resist it, misunderstand it, or simply never try it. Michael and Mircea break down why you should at minimum stack on serve, how to think about court positioning based on skill sets, and why ego is quietly costing recreational players games every single day. Key Takeaways Why players resist stacking (and why those reasons don't hold up) "My backhand is just as good as my forehand" is almost never true Common objections: too complicated, not fast enough to switch, messes up the return The cost of staying wrong-sided is almost always higher than the discomfort of learning The lefty-righty problem A lefty on the left creates two backhands in the middle, one of the most exploitable situations in doubles Middle, middle, middle. Every single ball. It's a cash register at most rec levels The fix is simple: lefties on the right, forehands in the middle The one scenario where there is no excuse not to stack On serve, stacking requires zero movement complexity. You just stand on the correct side before the point starts. There is no reason not to do this How to think about which side each player should be on Ask your partner which side they prefer before you start Match the stronger or more dynamic player to the left side so they can dictate angles and control the middle Hide weak forehands by keeping that player on the right, where their partner can cover the middle Exception: if a player's backhand is a weapon, you may want that weapon sitting in the middle instead Conor Garnett and the pro game Conor typically plays the left side, in part because at the pro level, precise dinking can avoid his backhand entirely, making it more valuable to protect from the outside His pairing with Roscoe Bellamy works because Roscoe's reach clogs the middle and takes pressure off that dynamic Mircea's partnership with Jose DeRisi Mircea plays right, Jose plays left, based on complementary strengths Mircea's defense and forehand options suit the right side; Jose's skills are better expressed from the left They adjust situationally, including half stacking when an opponent has a big serve Using stacking to break momentum Lost four to six points in a row? Switch sides, even temporarily The change in look alone tends to break runs, regardless of the tactical reason Half stacking explained Stack only on serve, not on return A good entry point if full stacking feels overwhelming The returner controls whether to call off the switch, not the player at the kitchen How to start if you've never stacked Pick a preferred side. If you start there, stay. If you start on the other side, scoot over You do not need pro-level athleticism, fancy signals, or perfect execution You need: commitment, communication, and repetition Practice it in rec play before bringing it into a tournament Reference Episodes Episode 28: "Should You Stack More Than You Are in Pickleball?" covers the full mechanics, including regular stacking, half stacking, three-quarter stacking, where to return, and court movement patterns.
