When Beth Lynch moved to Switzerland, she quickly realised that the sheer will to connect with people would not guarantee a happy relocation. Out of place and lonely, Beth knows that she needs to get her hands dirty if she is to put down roots. And so she sets about making herself at home in the way she knows best - by tending a garden, growing things. The search for a garden takes her across the country, through meadows and on mountain paths where familiar garden plants run wild, to the rugged hills of the Swiss Jura. In this remote and unfamiliar place of glow worms and dormice and singing toads she learns to garden in a new way, taking her cue from the natural world. As she plants her paradise with hellebores and aquilegias, cornflowers and Japanese anemones, these cherished species forge green and deepening connections: to her new soil, to her old life in England, and to her deceased parents, whose Sussex garden continues to flourish in her heart. WHERE THE HORNBEAM GROWS is a memoir about carrying a garden inwardly through loss, dislocation and relocation, about finding a sense of wellbeing in a green place of your own, and about the limits of paradise in a peopled world. It is a powerful exploration by a dazzling new literary voice of how, in nurturing a corner of the natural world, we ourselves are nurtured.

On our Energy podcast today we are joined by Judith Joan Walker, who heads up Operations for African Clean Energy! We not only learn how devastating cooking smoke is for the Sub-Saharan residents but also how financially depreciating it is as well as environmentally destructive. The good news is the people at ACE are doing amazing work in not only eliminating black carbon, but they also have a product that virtually eliminates smoke as well as over 50% of the costs associated with these cooking methods. Another thing we discuss is the trend of micro-finance and how this has ultimately enabled anybody to take the necessary steps needed to take the next step in cooking technology and solar energy. The Dating and Relationship Show with Laura Bilotta, May 14th, 2017. This week's guests: Joan Walker, of Real Housewives of Toronto; Carolyn Mackenzie, Global Morning Show host; and Christine, our Millenial Dater
This episode originally aired on December 27, 2013 under the show title "Pure Presence: All About The Kids" on The Awakening Zone Network. This episode is specifically about Autism. Special Guest: Channel Joan Walker.
Joan Walker has been channeling Archangels for many years now, and doing so behind the scenes for famous spiritual leaders. Now she has her own website where these channelings are offered as part of classes she and husband John Walker teach. The classes focus on helping students find out who they really are, how to respond at choice rather than just reacting, how to find balance in life, and how to reclaim their personal power. JOAN AND JOHN WALKER.com "Discovering your true Self is the key to your liberation from the pain, stress and anxiety of trying to fit all that you are into a 3-D container. The tools that are being offered through us include short yet profound teachings that you can listen to on the go, easy, guided meditations by one of the Archangels or Masters, and practical ways to incorporate what you learn into your everyday life. Our goal is to help you know the beauty that is you in its fullest expression. As you embark on this joyful exploration of your true nature, you will discover that you not only have direct communication with your Source, but also that you are never alone because you are and always have been one with Source."
Today I will be talking with channel Joan Walker who brings messages from The Ascended Master Kuthumi and from The Archangel Gabriel. We will be talking about the significance of the times we are in and the changes which are upon us. It promises to be a most fascinating talk as usual!
During my last interview with channel Joan Walker (she channels Kuthumi and AAGabriel) we began talking about the human energy field, and the importance of maintaining its balance and hence one's health. This was toward the end of our one hour talk, and we got about halfway through the chakras when the hour ended. We both want to tak further about the chakras and energy field maintenance, as this is of utmost importance to our proper functioning during "the shift" Unfortunately, most people totally ignore chakra maintenance. Many believe this is baby-stuff, just for beginners. Trust me, when Joan Walker talks about it, it is for EVERYONE. Why? If your chakras are not functioning well, you can get really screwed-up. And Joan is a master of this subject of chakras. You would not drive a car that never had a tune-up or oil change, would you? How old is your "vehicle?" When was the last time you "serviced" your energy body?
During these exciting yet challenging times, how do we remain in Peace? How do we exude the frequency that radiates out to others with the energy that manifests what we want on this New Eden of a planet which we are creating at this critical juncture of time/space? Fear manifests what we do not want. How do we remember to focus on what we want to manifest and not slip into fear, which sends out the frequency of what we do not want? Come listen as Joan Walker, internationally renowned channel for the Ascended Master Kuthumi, gives us some pointers, tips and tools on how to do just that.
On this show I will be talking with Joan Walker who acts as a channel for the Ascended Master Kuthumi and for various Archangels, including Gabriel. She does this on behalf of many famous teachers and writers in the field of spirituality...names you would recognize. Come listen as I talk with Joan!
