Watch on Philo! - Philo.tv/DTHNick and Audrey Spitz, are now full-time private detectives after their high profile success 4 years ago. But they find their agency struggling after several failed cases. Turns out, they're not actually very good. One night, while debating their future, they receive an unexpected invitation to a lavish wedding on a private island from their rapper friend from the first movie.During the ceremony, Audrey spots a cloaked figure trailing Vikram's elephant. Suddenly, Vik's bodyguard Lou falls dead from the elephant. Nick suspects it's a distraction and soon witnesses Vik's kidnapping by a masked figure who escapes by boat. The couple figures there must be two baddies: one to create the diversion and another to execute the abduction. The next day, a team of elite investigators led by former MI6 hostage negotiator, and Audrey's personal hero, Connor Miller arrives. The kidnapper calls and demands $70 million. In Paris, Nick and Audrey accompany Miller to the meeting point but are ambushed and forced into a van. A scuffle leads to a crash, and the kidnappers frame the couple. Miller appears to die in a car explosion, but a mysterious thief snatches the briefcase, only to be killed by a second assailant in a garbage truck who steals the money. The duo arranges a final confrontation at the Eiffel Tower. Vik arrives strapped with a bomb, but Nick assumes that the real mastermind wouldn't endanger the ransom. Miller reappears, revealing he faked his death. After Audrey is pulled to the top floor in a struggle, Nick follows, defeats Miller's henchmen, and destroys the bomb's detonator.Miller throws Audrey off the tower while tethered to his harness. Audrey survives, and together they tie Miller's harness to the elevator system, hurling him into his own helicopter's blades, which crashes into the river.Back at the restaurant, Audrey notices that Saira's smeared henna contradicts her earlier claim, realizing she's the second conspirator. She attempts to shoot Vik, but the bodyguard takes the bullet, and  Saira get knocked out with the briefcase. After the chaos, Vik and Claudette elope and gift Nick and Audrey $10 million plus a helicopter. But during their honeymoon flight over Greece, their pilot pulls a gun, reveals himself as American, steals the money, and jumps, leaving the couple to fight for control midair.

Send us a textGuest: Shane Rodabaugh, System VP of IT & Infrastructure, Baptist Health KY & IN Host: Vik PatelIn this episode, Vik welcomes Shane Rodabaugh to discuss infrastructure modernization, cloud strategy, AI readiness, and leadership in a rapidly evolving healthcare environment. They begin with a look at Baptist Health's current infrastructure—a hybrid model with Epic EHR hosted on-premise and new efforts like Cogito Cloud moving to Microsoft Fabric. This transition lays the foundation for advanced analytics and future AI capabilities.Vik and Shane explore the challenges of defining a “cloud strategy” in a world that evolves faster than any 3-year plan. Shane emphasizes the importance of flexibility and prioritization, especially when resources are limited but the demand for innovation is high. Vik introduces Tido CortexAI, an AI-ready data cloud, noting that CMIOs are often at the forefront of these initiatives. Shane mentions Baptist's CMIO, Dr. Brett Oliver, and how he's helping drive AI strategy from a clinical lens.As the conversation deepens, Vik asks about collaboration with clinical leadership. Shane explains that the dialogue is open and energetic—but sometimes he has to “hold the horses back.” Even with compelling ROI and excitement from clinicians, resource capacity often becomes the limiting factor. Still, the team focuses on staying agile, learning from fast failures, and pivoting quickly when needed. They shift to discussing AI governance and risk. Shane underscores the importance of understanding the algorithms and data behind models before deploying AI solutions in clinical settings. On the topic of build vs. buy, Shane shares insights from recent leadership discussions. While he's not opposed to building, he notes that Baptist isn't a development shop and scaling internal dev teams is a major investment. They view partners—like Epic—as their development engine for core platforms. Vik adds that a hybrid model often works best: internal teams guiding strategy while partners focus on execution. This balance helps mitigate key personnel risk and increases long-term sustainability. The conversation rounds out with leadership and collaboration. Shane shares how closely he works with the CIO and PMO, including weekly meetings focused on project prioritization and transparent communication—something he says is a strength at Baptist. They close the episode by talking about work-life balance. Shane shares a recent family vacation experience and how it's important to model healthy balance from the top. Lastly, he offers a grounding reminder: no matter how complex the tech or fast the pace—it's all for the patient.Support the showListen to all This Week in Health Tech episodesVik Patel - LinkedInTido Inc. - WebsiteTido Inc. - LinkedIn

Send us a textGuest: Lance Alston, Director of IT, Nathan Littauer Hospital and Nursing Home Host: Vik PatelOn this episode, Vik welcomes Lance Alston, Director of IT at Nathan Littauer Hospital and Nursing Home, for a candid conversation on leading with resilience, trust, and innovation in a resource-constrained healthcare environment.Lance shares how he's successfully navigating the “do more with less” challenge, emphasizing the importance of trust — both within his team and with external partners. While vendor partnerships can be highly beneficial, Lance acknowledges they often require a culture shift. At Nathan Littauer, he's worked to foster the right mindset and build trust with carefully chosen partners to reduce organizational risk, especially around key personnel dependencies. The conversation also touches on leadership and well-being. Lance and Vik explore the importance of work-life balance in healthcare IT, a field often plagued by burnout. Lance emphasizes leading by example and ensuring team members feel supported in taking time off. This culture shift is backed by the full C-suite, including the CEO, who recognize that employee morale and well-being are essential for long-term success. From there, the discussion transitions into more technical territory, including the organization's current and future AI strategy. Lance highlights how having an enthusiastic and forward-thinking CMIO has been instrumental in exploring AI solutions that support clinical decision-making. Together, they're laying the foundation for a future where AI becomes a practical, integrated tool — not just a buzzword.Vik also introduces Tido CortexAI, an AI-ready data lake that transforms EHR, clinical, and operational data into clean, normalized, and interoperable insights. Whether it's for predictive modeling, automation, or real-time trends, CortexAI provides the data foundation healthcare organizations need to make meaningful use of AI.Finally, Lance offers insights into the importance of open communication across departments — even when the answer isn't immediately clear. “It's okay to say, ‘I'm not sure yet, but I'm working on a solution,'” he says. Fostering transparency, accessibility, and continuous communication is key. Because no matter how advanced the technology, without the right strategy and human connection, it won't deliver its full value.Closing thoughts from Lance: At the end of the day, IT is still IT — even in the age of AI. What truly makes a difference is effective communication, strong relationships, and trust. Especially when you're tasked with doing more with less, those human elements are essential.Support the showListen to all This Week in Health Tech episodesVik Patel - LinkedInTido Inc. - WebsiteTido Inc. - LinkedIn

So what better time to hear from one of the excellent brewery's founders. Whie Lost Cause Brewing might be new, its founders are no strangers to making great beer. Head brewer Colin Stronge has spent over 20 years crafting beers at some of the UK's most celebrated breweries, including Marble Beers, Buxton Brewery, Northern Monk, Black Isle, and Salt Beer Factory. His beers have poured at the most prestigious craft beer festivals around the world, earning him Brewer of the Year 2022 at our Brewers Choice Awards as well as a dedicated following among beer enthusiasts. And last year we were thrilled that Colin used our Brewers Lectures at the excellent Wiper and True in Bristol to showcase these debut Lost Cause beers for the first time. During his talk, Colin talked us through his career to-date. But more importantly, he outlines his goals for Lost Cause Brewing Co and why sometimes you need a little bit of discomfort to give you that push in life.

I'm sure you'll forgive the clickbaity title but it's a question I've been asking for the last 10 years.  Most brewery businesses start by obtaining a premises, purchasing equipment, commissioning a brewhouse and getting to work making beer.  However, what happens to those of us out there who don't have access to the kinds of capital required to open their own brewhouse and taproom but still have the passion and zeal, business and brewing skills required to make a go of it...?In this episode, Nick chats to Colin Stronge - a well-known and highly respected figure in modern British beer about he and his wife, marketing executive Vik Stronge, moved out of employed work to start Lost Cause Brewing Co. without owning a brewhouse of their own.  Nick shares his own journey and how, by asking whether contract brewing is a long-term viable option, whether - ultimately - a owning your own plant and equipment is the only real way forward. We dig into details surrounding industry and customer perceptions about contract brewing, what to look for in a brewery partner, and how to navigate the many unknowns of building a brewery brand without a brewery of your own.Since recording this episode in January, Lost Cause Brewing Co. announced a Crowdfunder project to raise £60,000 in order to build their own brewhouse in Castleford, near Leeds, where their taproom and storehouse is currently located. Please take a moment to help Colin and Vik by pledging some money towards their project, if you are able:Crowdfunder: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/support-the-causeWebsite: Lost Cause Brewing Co. THIS WEEK'S EPISODE IS PROUDLY BROUGHT TO YOU BY:Charles Faram & Co (charlesfaram.com)Supplying hops for over 150 years, Charles Faram offers a vast range of nitrogen-flushed hop varieties from the UK, Europe, New Zealand, and the USA.Crisp Malt (crispmalt.com)Since 1870, Crisp has blended tradition with innovation, producing malts like Chevallier Heritage and Clear Choice Malt.FOLLOW HOP FORWARDhopforward.beer | LinkedIn | BlueSky | Instagram

This is a very special episode LIVE from the Calgary Renovation Show. www.calgaryrenovationshow.com/show-features/speakers-celebrities We had an amazing discussion with Seb Clovis on the main stage. (The following is his bio on the Calgary Reno Show website) Sebastian Clovis is not just a licensed contractor; he's a beacon of excellence in every aspect of the construction process, from envisioning architectural details to executing flawless finishes. He has a commitment to crafting enduring, personalized spaces while upholding the standards in the tradition of so many great builders. His journey began in his teens under the mentorship of a master builder, but he temporarily diverted his path to pursue a football scholarship and a career in the CFL, culminating in a triumphant Grey Cup Championship with the BC Lions in 2006.Following retirement from professional football, Sebastian seamlessly transitioned back to his first love: renovations. With a diverse skill set honed over years of experience, he emerged as a versatile craftsman, excelling in multiple disciplines and earning the title of a true jack of all trades. Teaming up with his partner, Designer Ayanna Augustine, they have refined a proprietary process for curating and creating stunning homes that reflect their clients' unique visions and lifestyles. But Sebastian's journey didn't end with contracting; it was the beginning of a third career. His vibrant persona and unparalleled ability to demystify complex construction techniques catapulted him into the spotlight as the captivating host of hit home renovation shows such as ‘Tackle My Reno,' ‘Save My Reno,' and most his most recent endeavour, ‘Gut Job,' streaming now on STACKTV. In this episode, we chatted with Seb about overcoming your fear and diving right into DIY. Seb was an awesome guest with LOTS of information to provide!! Liverpool has long been a musical powerhouse. From Echo and the Bunnymen and Frankie Goes to Hollywood to its most famous sons, The Beatles, the City of Pop has shaped global culture. But Liverpool is far more than music and mop-tops.Home to two iconic football teams, Liverpool F.C. and Everton F.C., the city is also a gem for beer and food tourism. The Grapes pub offers cosy vibes and well-kept cask ales. Dead Crafty on Dale Street showcases rare international beers, while Azvex Brewery & Taproom is a must-visit. For amazing vegetarian Indian street food, Bundobust is unbeatable—don't miss the Paneer Tikka skewers! One of my all-time favourite breweries, now sadly closed, was Liverpool's Mad Hatter Brewery. Known for unique beers like Tzatziki Sour and the outrageous Smokey Bacon and Banana Rauchbier, they embodied creativity in brewing. Though gone, Mad Hatter remains a legend in the modern beer scene.Today, a lesser-known brewery, Colbier Brew Co, is carrying the torch. Founded in 2024 on a Bootle industrial estate, Colbier is making waves with Proper Sound Beers inspired by music. Founders Mike Corbett, Vik, and Stu have already showcased their brews at top venues like Manchester's Port Street Beer House and Sheffield's The Old Shoe.In this episode, I chat with Mike and Stu about launching a brewery with tight budgets, digging drainage channels with jackhammers, and crafting great beers on a DIY setup. IPAs. We love to hate them. We love to love them. It's fair to say that the darling of modern beer has, over the past 10 or 20 years, been discussed to death. But we felt there was life in the old dog yet. That's why at FyneFest earlier this year we hosted a panel discussion to talk about the present and future of the IPA with two breweries who are pushing the envelope as far as this category is concerned.Matt Dutton is the head brewer at Manchester's Track Brewing, one of the innovators at the forefront when it comes to utilising the latest hop technology. Coming from a background as an award-winning homebrewer, Matt has led the brewing team at Track for the past eight years, and is in charge of ensuring every pint of Sonoma, Half Dome, or whatever weekly special happens to be pouring at their taproom tastes as good as it possibly can.We know Track means business too, as we brewed one of our fifth anniversary beers with them, a resolutely modern IPA that we called Optimism Forever. This provided a perfect stepping off point for us to chat about how modern brewing techniques and technology are ensuring there's still plenty of ground to cover when it comes to experimentation and flavour within the IPA category. Our second panelist is Vik Stronge, who long time Pellicle Podcast listeners might remember from previous episodes where she appeared as strategy manager of Huddersfield's Magic Rock Brewery. Since then Vik has moved on from Magic Rock, teaming up with her husband and experienced brewer to form their own brewery: Lost Cause. With both Vik and Colin's extremely high brewing pedigree you'd expect greatness out of the gate from these two, and that's exactly what we've been served so far. During this panel Vik discusses the use of new hop varieties and how they are helping Lost Cause to define itself as a brewery. We taste its IPA, Love You, Bye, which is hopped with a recently developed proprietary hop variety from Indie Hops in Oregon, USA, that tastes like cloudy lemonade on a hot summer's day. It's vibrant, electric and proof positive that there's plenty of exciting hop flavours still out there for us drinkers to experience and enjoy. All of which is discussed in this podcast episode. We're able to produce The Pellicle Podcast directly thanks to our Patreon subscribers, and our sponsors Loughran Brewers Select. This episode is very in-depth real world discussions about data challenges, AI governance and interoperability in healthcare.Mark starts out sharing his background and how he got started working in a hospital. Vik and Mark talk about data challenge in health systems, starting with challenge of making sense of the big data. Mark makes a comment that health systems are "data rich and knowledge poor", which really describes the big data current situation in most health systems. Vik and Mark then share that not everyone maybe aware that faxing is still very much active in health system communication. That shows that we still have much to do for interoperability. There are still many point to point interfaces and in this case using Faxing. Vik asks the question to Mark if EHRs have a role to play in how the data is being collected but the usage of data and sharing is still a challenge. Mark and Vik then discuss strategy of AI, and how quality of life should drive the decision making. Mark thinks AI should really help unlock the power of data that is in the EHRs and all the clinical applications. Mark also provides real-world examples of how AI can help unlock data for clinical and operational decision making and help improve patient outcomes. Both then dive into the risks related to adopting AI solutions and how to overcome some of these challenges using governance and appropriate resources like data scientists on the team. Support the showListen to all This Week in Health Tech episodesVik Patel - LinkedInTido Inc. - WebsiteTido Inc. - LinkedIn

In this episode of the Travel Squad Podcast, we take you on an unforgettable journey through the land of fire and ice —beautiful Iceland. Our adventure begins in the vibrant capital city of Reykjavik, where we marvel at the iconic Hallgrimskirkja Church, stroll down the colorful Rainbow Road, and take in the stunning Sun Voyager sculpture along the waterfront. From Reykjavik, we venture into the heart of Iceland's Golden Circle. At Thingvellir National Park, we explore the fascinating geological formations and snorkel in the crystal-clear waters of the Silfra Fissure. Continuing along the Golden Circle, we witness the power of Geysir Strokkur's eruptions and the majestic beauty of Gullfoss Waterfalls. As we head towards the southern coast, we base ourselves in the charming village of Vik. Here, we encounter some of Iceland's most spectacular natural wonders. We hike to the top of Skogafoss for breathtaking views, walk behind the cascading waters of Seljalandsfoss and Gljúfrabú, and observe puffins up close at Dyrholaey's sea cliffs. Our exploration of the southern coast includes the dramatic black sand beaches of Reynisdrangar, the stunning Fjadrargljufur Canyon, the hidden gem of Mulagljufur Canyon, and the enchanting Svartifoss waterfall. The journey culminates with a visit to the famous Diamond Beach and the Jokulsarlon Glacier Lagoon, where we take a thrilling zodiac boat tour to get up close to the icebergs and glaciers. Tune in to hear our experiences, tips, and recommendations for making the most of your Icelandic adventure.
