An extensive search began off the coast of Galway when he did not return home after his usual morning swim. Johnny Duhan is famous for writing ‘The Voyage' – one of his many great songs. His father was a seafarer and Johnny became so interested in the sea in his native city of Limerick, that he tried to stowaway on a ship. He talks about the song the experience inspired.
