Are you putting yourself first? When was the last time you checked your boobs? Did you know that 1-in-8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime?I didn't...3 short years ago, I was that 1-in-8.I say that not to scare you, although maybe fear is a good motivator, I say that to you to remind you to put your health first- before the job, the business, even your family. You may be saying, “I don't have time” or “what if I find something . . I'd rather not know.” To that, I say - if you think you don't have time now, there is nothing like an illness to force you to slow down. By then, it is too late. And as for the fear of finding something... That is real, I get it. AND whether you find something on your own, or are surprised by the news in a doctor's office months from now the difference is this...EARLY detection can save your life. It did mine. Tune in and listen to why I advocate for putting your health first. If you ever want to experience the #Dirty30Live - in real-time - Follow me on Instagram @moniquebryan_co and Set your alarm to every Monday at 11 AM EST and come get your questions answered live over on the show! These are my own interpretation but thanks to Nalie, it is something to apply to ever walk of life and everyone that has been listening so far. “You have to see it to believe it.” You have to believe it to see it. Interpreting, reflecting, and explaining my POV from Nalie Agustin (@nalieagustin) wise words post found on her Instagram here. “The more the merrier.” Less is more. “Giving is better than receiving. Always give.” As much as giving is fulfilling, remember you are worthy to receive. Hear me reflect on these quotes. October - breast cancer awareness month and how I've contributed throughout the years with my skill set as a photographer. When my friend Nalie Agustin beckons me to shoot and contribute at her events (Nalie show, Birthday days, and The Release MTL), how can I say no to the one who named me Ninja first. As mentioned in the podcast episode it is best if I leave you to read up and catch up on Nalie's adventures and story than for me to repeat it ( as i may get the numbers and dates wrong...) Raising funds help but using your skillset to bring smiles and help out is the best way.
