Descrição do livro: Blecaute Luz e Teatralidade Este estudo é uma jornada histórica e estética do blecaute no teatro. Por meio de exemplos concretos, a obra demonstra sua evolução e permite estabelecer o blecaute como luz e elemento componente da cena. Do século XV ao XVII, a luz era um luxo. No século XIX, época do escurecimento dos teatros, o blecaute se torna um aliado da ilusão teatral. Se aproximando do século XX, ele encontra, progressivamente, seu lugar e suas potencialidades estéticas. Será possível, enfim, “fazer o blecaute e trabalhar a sombra” graças ao simbolismo, ao naturalismo ou ao expressionismo. Desde então, a exemplo dos futuristas, da dança de Loie Füller e do teatro de sombras, foi possível experimentar o blecaute e criar efeitos com ele no quadro da caixa preta do teatro à italiana. Plasticamente, o blecaute se revela em sua ausência ou presença no século XXI. O blecaute assume uma dimensão poética e política no teatro. Ele se torna voraz engolidor de imagens e revelador das grandes tragédias contemporâneas. Véronique Perruchon, professora e pesquisadora em Artes da Cena no Centro de Estudos das Artes Contemporâneas – CEAC da Universidade de Lille, dirige o programa de pesquisa sobre Iluminação Cênica LdS. Depois de ter iniciado sua carreira profissional como iluminadora teatral e operadora de luz, se interessou pelo aspecto espetacular do teatro e da direção cênica em seu trabalho de pesquisa. Doutora pela Universidade Sorbonne Nouvelle-Paris 3 no programa Arts et Médias em 2009 e qualificada para orientar pesquisas em artes pela Universidade de Lille - Campus Pont-de-Bois em 2015. Publicou, pela editora Presses Universitaires du Septentrion, as obras: Noir Lumière et théâtralité em 2016 e André Engel Œuvre théâtrale em 2018, além de diversos artigos sobre iluminação, alguns já traduzidos para o português e publicados na Revista Urdimento (CEART-UDESC). Atualmente mora na cidade de Lille, no norte da França. @‌v.perruchon Nadia Moroz Luciani, professora e pesquisadora em Artes da Cena na Universidade Estadual do Paraná – UNESPAR – Campus de Curitiba II – Faculdade de Artes do Paraná – FAP, coordena o projeto de extensão LABIC – Laboratório de Iluminação Cênica da FAP. Atua desde 1989 como iluminadora profissional, operadora de luz, diretora de palco e tradutora técnica para diversas companhias e espetáculos nacionais e internacionais. Suas pesquisas abrangem os temas da pedagogia da iluminação cênica e a performatividade da luz. Graduada em design gráfico pela Universidade Federal do Paraná (DEARTES-UFPR) em 1995, mestre em teatro pela Universidade Estadual de Santa Catarina (PPGT-CEART-UDESC) em 2014 e doutora em Artes Cênicas pela Universidade de São Paulo (PPGAC-ECA-USP) em 2020 com doutorado sanduíche (CAPES-PrInt) na Universidade de Lille (UdL) em 2019-2020.
