From the storied streets of Hamburg and Berlin to the deep-rooted house culture of Chicago, Florian Kruse and Dilee D bring together two musical journeys into one creative partnership. Their paths converge in a shared passion for emotional, forward-thinking electronic music and a healthy respect for the scene's colourful past. With solo releases spread across imprints like Mobilee and Idyllik Records, they've each carved out distinct identities—but now unified through their collaborative Clockwork Mind EP recently released on on Sasha's Last Night On Earth. In this Balance Selections mix, Florian and Dilee channel their transatlantic experiences and deep studio chemistry into a session that's both personal and precise. Featuring tracks from Max Cooper, WhoMadeWho, and AFFKT, as well as their own unreleased work, the mix reflects their belief in storytelling through sound. @dileedofficial @floriankruse

Lonya feat SNYL – Ultimate Sin / Synthetic Dreams - Selador Early support from Cristoph, AFFKT, Gai Barone, Anthony Pappa, BOg, Kasey Taylor It's become a bit of a tradition down Selador way that our much-loved Showcase releases produce break out tracks that generate a right old buzz and get a stand-alone release. And lo, it's Lonya's turn to join that select company. ‘Ultimate Sin' first saw the light of day on the mixed version of our Showcase 20 release, premiered by a somewhat excited Dave Seaman & Anthony Pappa. Instantly turning heads and leading to oodles of “when can I get my hands on that beauty?” messages pinging their way to HQ, rather than release it on one of the subsequent unmixed EPs, we challenged Lonya to give us another track of equal stature to create a dynamite double header. Not only did he do just that, but he only went and roped in his pal SNYL. The resulting collab ‘Synthetic Dreams' is a propulsive, acid-peppered call to dancefloor action. The very definition of heads down, let's go business as a mesmeric vocal wail sits atop an hypnotic groove that just doesn't let go. Synthetic by name, but as real as electronic music gets in nature. And ‘Ultimate Sin'? All we can say is, if you're familiar with Dave and Anthony's mix, you know what's coming, and will be suitably bubbling over with anticipation. And if not…well folks, a sonic treat awaits. Just let the riff draw you in, pull you all over the shop, and take up residence in your twisted but oh so grateful cranium. Masterful. Team Selador – Saints and Sinners x

Support from Nick Warren, AFFKT, Anthony Pappa, Just Her, Audio Junkies, and of course form Dave Seaman and Steve Parry Jonathan Cowan is an OG of the scene Stateside, particularly in his native Florida, where he gave a certain Dave Seaman his first US residency back in 1998, and to this day remains a kingpin of that week in March when the dance music cognoscenti descend upon Miami. With these two transatlantic amigos and like-minded souls having been (ahem) brothers in rhythm for nigh on three decades now, it was only right & proper that some of JC's studio excursions would find their way to Selador. And so it was. The achingly beautiful ‘Alden's Groove' was first, debuting on our Sweet Sixteenth Showcase in 2022, and then followed by ‘Swaddles' which graced our Seventeenth Instalment in 2023. At the time we described it as “tip top electronic headfuckery”, and some two years on, we ain't changed our minds. So naturally we're pleased as proverbial punch to now unveil a brand-new double-header from JC. ‘Slater' is first up, as clever as it is insanely catchy. It wears several 90s influences proudly on its sleeve (think ‘French Kiss' meets Desert's seminal ‘Moods' and you're part way there), while wrapping everything up in a warm 2025 blanket of sound. Listen now, thank us slater ;) On the flipside, ‘Sawyer' kicks off with a pure 80s Chicago bassline riding that Windy City wave, before Moroder-esque wonktastic riffage joins the fray and takes hold of the dance floor. So high indeed. Tried and tested by both Messrs Seaman & Parry, these two meticulously crafted gems have been staples of their sets for the past few months but don't just take our word for it, judge for yourselves. Team Selador – Running in the family. x

Danny Howells - Powershow / Stereodrama - Selador Very early support from Khen, Nick Warren, Hernan Cattaneo, Spencer Brown, Quivver, Anthony Pappa, Jim Rivers, AFFKT, Timo Maas, and Terry Farley. Aaah, Danny Howells. How do we love thee? Let us count the ways. We love you for your mastery of the art of DJing – many shades, always nuance – yet cohesive, powerful, enthralling, unifying. We love how you take those touchstones of DJ craft, and effortlessly transfer them to the studio, delivering finally crafted tunes par excellence, unerringly hitting the bullseye time after time. We love how ‘Powershow' effortlessly fuses an ethereal, uplifting and other-worldly ambience with filthy machine funk. We love how ‘Stereodrama' does exactly what it says on the tin, soaring sounds, gorgeous grooviness and subtle peaks and troughs colliding with dramatic effect. We love that decades of looking for the perfect beat, forever opening yourself to new sonic possibilities, has so evidently been poured into these tunes like liquid gold. We love the way that you break the DJ mould, your head forever above the parapet as you speak up for social justice and animal rights. We love your endless collection of natty threads and headgear and frankly, are more than a tad envious of your finely chiselled cheekbones. And we love that once again you have entrusted Selador with some of your majestic musical missives. Alright, alright, we know… we'll get a room. Team Selador - Love is in the air. x

Support from Andy Moor, Nick Warren, Just Her, Santiago Garcia, Claptone, AFFKT, Animal Trainer, Eelke Kleijn, Hernan Cattaneo, Joris Voorn, Yotto, Made By Pete, Danny Tenaglia, Danny Howells, Adriatique Comin' atcha 2025!!! New year, new tunes, new benchmarks, new heights. What a start to Selador's twelfth (count ‘em) year. We were delighted when Dilby debuted for us recently with the vocal gem ‘Give It Up Again', a standout feature on our recent Showcase 20 compilation – and we're doubly delighted (verging on overcome, frankly) to follow it up in double quick time with this essential EP. The Berlin-based Kiwi straddles genres effortlessly, and subsequently finds his tunes in the boxes of a wide variety of DJs. This stellar selection will no doubt follow suit. We kick things off with ‘Sacred Ground' a majestic roller with a classic ‘90s feel that hits the spot in all the right places before dropping to a distinctive ‘dread' vocal. ‘Closer' then steps up with its rolling percussive intro paving the way for duelling riffs, a real early ‘00s classy heads down vibe for this one. And our titanic triptych is completed by the aforementioned ‘Give It Up Again', which is more than worthy of another trip round the block as a reminder of its undeniable potency. Essential 2025 tackle. Team Selador – from the heart of the dance floor x

Steve Parry - Turn Up The Juice - Selador Early support coming from Alan Dixon, Danny Howells, Hot Since 82, Hernan Cattaneo, Timanti, BOg, Just Her, Nick Warren, Anthony Pappa, AFFKT, Eelke Kleijn, Paul Oakenfold Like the proverbial London buses, you wait aeons for a Steve Parry solo single, then two absolute belters storm your dancefloors, worm their way into your cranium and hit you for the proverbial six in the space of a couple of months. Yes indeed, Selador Head Honcho (shared position) ™ Lord Parry of Merseyside follows up the sumptuous ‘Won't You Believe' with a tune described by none other than Selador Head Honcho (shared position) ™ Dave Seaman, The Yorkshire Baron, as “your best ever, mate!” ‘Turn Up the Juice' hits that sweetest of sweet spots where euphoria and melancholia sidle up to each other and say, hey, we work well together - fancy a dance? It's a balancing act many house producers spend forever and a day trying to master – that tune that induces smiles & tears (of joy), goosebumps and cold sweats, all in one finely crafted package. So please join us in welcoming this particularly juicy number, replete with its heavenly hooks, rumbunctious riffage and bombastic bass'n'beats into a world where boy, do we need such bounteous, beatific vibes. Team Selador – juice on the loose
Dave Seaman - Two By Two (Alican Remix) - Selador Support from Adriatique, Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren, DJ Harvey, Super-Flu, Jonathan Kaspar, Captain Mustache, Jamie Stevens, AFFKT, Bog, Damon Jee, Animal Trainer, Magit Cacoon, Joyce Muniz, Nicole Moudaber Oh lordee!!! As if Dave's ‘Two By Two' wasn't already humungous enough, hot on the heels of the barnstorming original comes the equally magnificent Alican remix. We said the vocal hook brought to mind Divine's seminal proto-houser ‘Native Love', and we suspect our guest may have felt the same, as there are definitely traces of the trademark early 80s Bobby O production style in this peak time workout. This sizzling slice of 21st century mesmeric electro-disco further showcases our man from Istanbul's wide-ranging talents, as displayed not only on his Selador outing ‘Montroze' las year, but also on recent releases for the likes of Innervisions, Kompakt and Get Physical. Like all the best remixes, it's the perfect wingman to the Original. Get it down ya! Team Selador – Double trouble!
Dave Seaman - Two By Two - Selador Support from Guy J, Just Her, Nick Warren, AFFKT, Murat Uncuoglu, Eelke Kleijn, Dino Lenny, Jepe, James Harcourt, Animal Trainer, Marc DePulse, Radeckt, Marco Resmann, Gai Barone, Cristoph, Lane 8, Khen In the blurb for our new releases, we like to meander down the road less travelled when it comes to our choice of bon mots. We strain every sinew to come up with descriptions that do justice to the aural treats we are celebrating. However, sometimes you hear a tune, and it just blows yer socks off, rendering you uncharacteristically speechless. All you can muster is over-used, vacuous platitudes like ‘anthem alert' or ‘absolute banger' which, funnily enough, brings us to a case in point. Dave's new Selador offering ‘Two By Two' grabs you eagerly by the hand and drags you to the floor from the off, sticks yer head in the nearest speaker stack, and cries “Let's goooo!!” – and you remain in thrall to its pounding magnificence for nigh on six minutes. The opening bassline motif is pure jackin' magic, and when the insanely memorable, and ever so slightly unearthly “two by two, side by side” vocal hook enters the fray, all bets are off. These elements are the foundation stones around which assorted riffage is woven. There are few brews more potent on 2024 peak time dancefloors. Oh, and for long time fans of Dave's work, we reckon it's a bit like Buzzfuzzle meets The Mighty Ming, aided and abetted by a vocal reminiscent of Divine's classic Native Love. And if that doesn't whet your appetite enough to press play without delay, heaven knows what will. Team Selador – Two is the magic number x
Steve Parry - Won't You Believe? (incl. Dachshund Remix) - Selador Early support from John Digweed, Frankey & Sandrino, Khen, Bog, Eelke Kleijn, Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren, Jim Rivers, James Harcourt, Yulia Niko, Nicole Moudaber, Spencer Brown, Just Her, AFFKT, Anthony Pappa It is, of course, no surprise that there Selador catalogue is peppered with stellar contributions from Da Boss (job share) Steve Parry. Indeed, many of them are undoubtedly among our finest moments – tracks like ‘Fenner', ‘303V' and ‘Squidfist' are both close to our hearts and the signal for serious dancefloor carnage whenever dropped. Over the last couple of years, Steve has focused on some choice collabs – among them his ‘Marmalade Skies' hook up with Renato Cohen, one of the label's biggest tunes in The Year of Big Tunes that was our 10th birthday; while the Nunchi Coup team up with partner Dave Seaman produced a trio of big hitters that racked up the streams. However, Steve's last solo outing was (checks notes…) – 2020?! Parry, you lazy &*£*&$!!! Anyway, “we'll deal with that internally”. The good news is that while the follow-up to that year's mighty double header of ‘Roll the Dice' and ‘What You Make It' may fall into the “long awaited” bracket, it certainly fits the “worth the wait” bill. In true Ste Pazza style, it morphs genres for fun – it's deep but squelchily acidic, heads down progmungous but with the catchiest of ‘light touch' vocal hooks, all riding atop a techno train. Meanwhile, we're delighted to usher another label debutant through the door marked ‘so delighted to have you on board' – yes sireee, Dachshund is in the building. What's more, he delivers a remix which does what too many re-rubs don't do – it acknowledges and utilises key elements from the original version. However, it does so while effortlessly blending in a plethora of fresh riffage, from the melodic to the klangtastic. Bullseye. Team Selador – You better believe it! x

Dave Seaman - YoHo (incl. James Harcourt Remix) - Selador Support from Eelke Kleijn, Paul Van Dyk, M.A.N.D.Y., AFFKT, Anthony Pappa, Danny Howells, Nicole Moudaber, Hernan Cattaneo, Luke Brancaccio, Timo Maas, Aikon, Tim Engelhardt, Just Her The Boss is back in town, and how. On a roll…in the ascendancy…top of the current form table…all epithets that could be applied to Dave and his stellar output in recent months, be it solo or in tandem with Quivver; on Selador, or with our friends at labels such as Sum Over Histories, Mobilee, Einmusika and Poker Flat. And so to YoHo. It might sound like a new brand of pro-biotic yoghurt, or a vodka mixer… or even, as in our case, conjure up visions of piratical shenanigans. Be warned however, this particular sonic shanty, will provide all the treasure you'll need for your own desert island disco. The Original mix is textbook Dave, growing bigger and broodier with each newly introduced motif. The post-breakdown conclusion a squelching and menacing fusion of Bauhaus meets DJ Pierre proportions. The Teutonic Dub then strips things back to bass-ics, an intoxicating brew that nods to the original Prog sound circa 1991 while sounding every bit as 2024 as a Tory MP abadoning ship. Our triumphant triptych is completed by one of our favourite Seladorians, Mr James Harcourt. In a move too seldom seen, James does much more than just nod to the vibe of Dave's originals, but equally his scattergun riffage and gorgeous keys take the tune to a euphoric elsewhere. So much so, it was the version Dave & Quivver chose for inclusion on their upcoming Balance Mix compilation album. Ooh ahhh.. Shiver mi timbers! Team Selador – YoHo ho and a bottle of your finest.

TSOR 34 arrives with a beautiful, ambient bump as the orchestral swell of Fred Again.. and Brian Eno's 'Enough' get us off the start line. And, they're not the only kings in the paddock: Keinemusik, Jon Hopkins, Acid Pauli, Eelke Kleijn, Skatman, Dominik Eulberg, Bebetta and Auggië all line-up to go wheel to wheel as the mix races to the finish with a lap time of just over an hour. Our labels, Renaissance and BAU_HAUS, are under the usual, strict team orders to compete. Millero and Yamagucci warm things up nicely with 'SOS'; Squire sends out both drivers as 'This Is A Coco' and 'Criteria' get a spin: AFFKT's 'Sopasopa' receives a nitrous injection from 1979 and we unveil the sleek, summer livery of Øostil's collab' with Rêverie and Paula OS, who benefit from a proper tune-up by Rodriguez Jr. Check it! 1. Floormagnet - Laura (Incl. Zoo Brazil and Circulation Remixes) Early support from Hector Romero, James Zabiela, James Harcourt, Above & Beyond, Hernan Cattaneo, Anthony Pappa, AFFKT, Bill Brewster, Renato Cohen, Horse Meat Disco And lo, as they traversed the globe in search of only the very finest in electronic music to set the pulses racing, the Selador pleasure seekers found themselves in Sweden. And here they happened upon Floormagnet, a Stockholm-based collective, huddled round an imposing bank of synths, hammering out a tune so addictive that there was no other option than to sign it on the spot. But hark, what sensuous sorcery is this drifting into our ears from across the city? Why, ‘tis only our long-time friend Zoo Brazil, he of Seladorian classics ‘Thunderstorm' and ‘Across My Heart' fame. “Hey Zoo, what's this aural brew you cookin' up?” “ I'm just doing a lil' re-rub of ‘Laura', a most bodacious new tune from my Scandi pals Floormagnet.” “Wait. What?! Hold up Zoo – we've just signed that!” “Serendipity. Fate. Karma. Call it what you will my friends but here's my remix, hope you like it!” Back in Blighty, frazzled but happy, the seekers are on a mission. The hypnotic original version and pulsating ZB interpretation need a bedfellow to complete the hat trick. A certain someone who can imbue the spirit of the track but with a deep, dreamy je ne sais quoi. Enter stage left, right on cue – why it's only Circulation! Mission accomplished. SEL 164 complete. No half measures. Whoever Laura is, she's a lucky girl! Team Selador – dance floor specialists x

Martin Eyerer on the Virtual Sessions presented by The DJ Sessions 6/14/22 About Martin Eyerer - For more than 30 years Martin Eyerer has traveled heavily around the globe as a DJ and producer. His more than 150 releases on the hottest labels like Renaissance, My Favorite Robot, Get Physical, Rejected order on his own imprint Kling Klong are bought and played on continents from Australia, Asia to North and South America and of course Europe. Countless sales and other chart positionings as well as media feedback prove that impressively. As a producer Martin has something to show as well: Gold Albums in UK and Australia and a top 3 US Billboard chart ranking have a great effect here. As a mixing and mastering engineer Martin has run a respectable analog studio for 15 years, which has an established standing especially in the electronic music scene. After moving from Stuttgart to Berlin in August 2012 Martin and his partners Jade Souaid and Tassilo Ippenberger opened together the Riverside Studios – a 2000 m2 complex in the heart of Berlin. With direct river views and the neighborhood to clubs like Berghain, Watergate, Kater Blau, Tresor or Weekend it became one of the hotspots of Berlin's music scene. Of course Martin has his space there, too. On 100 m2 he brought his studio to the next level. The restoration of his legendary Amek M 3000 Console that was formerly owned by Pink Floyd in the seventies completed it surely. By the end of 2013 Martin Eyerer startet to work on his 3rd longplayer including interesting and already confirmed corporations withPrincess Superstar, Abby, Knixx and Ruede Hagelstein. End of 2014 the album – Struktur – was released on Martin‘s very own label Kling Klong and received huge feedback from the music scene. A few more releases on labels like Get Physical, Saved and Rejected followed the 4 singles of the album in 2015 and a global tour that lead Martin once more around the world. In 2016 releases on my favorite robot, Bedrock, Danse UK, Suara and Kling Klong were released and played all over the globe. The most successful one was Martin Eyerer & Ackermann feat Craig Walker – former singer from the band Archive. Originals and the kaiserdisco remix hit the Beatport Top 20. 2017 was full of successful releases: An EP on Second State, 2 new Kling Klongs and the final Album remix package by Tobi Neumann, Oliver Dollar and AFFKT already kept Martin's name going. Further releases on Bedrock and Culprit L.A. and his latest imprint he started with Ackermann named ignite. In 2018 Martin focused more on his management side at Riverside Studios Berlin. Besides its established networks of musicians and producers, he started to drive the company with a music and tech related side, which affected the way he chose further collaborations. 2020 obviously was a very special year for artists and producers under the Covid 19 pandemic. Martin – meanwhile also working as CEO for Factory Berlin – set up with his team many collaborations between artists and tech people. International artists from music but also other disciplines started to work on AR/VR and mixed reality formats. Technology and music and art together is the new thing Martin extended his horizon to. Bringing his company Riverside Studios Berlin together with the Factory Berlin ecosystem led to a very successful path for both. On the studio side Martin was active too: While working on his new studio album (expected to be finished in Jan 2021) he released a few new records on labels like bar25, Kling Klong, Ignite or still hot Berlin. His weekly podcast /Radioshow is broadcasted in more than 20 countries and has a reach of 700,000 listeners every week. http://www.martineyerer.de http://www.facebook.com/martineyerer http://www.soundcloud.com/martineyerer About The DJ Sessions - “The DJ Sessions” is a Twitch/Mixcloud "Featured Partner” live streaming/podcast series featuring electronic music DJ's/Producers via live mixes/interviews and streamed/distributed to a global audience.
